The Gray Havens - Neverland(Now Anywhere) performed in Tacoma, WA 10/08/22
Dave has stated that this song won't see a public release in it's current form. On tour now with the Zion Caravan Tour he is selling a tee shirt that will grant you access to a private recording. I bought my wife the shirt at the concert at Renton/Seattle last Friday and I promise it is worth the price to buy the tee to get the recording.

This song perfectly expresses how you feel after losing someone you love dearly, but it also speaks to times when you're disappointed with your life. You fantasize of the next stage or goal so much that you miss the good of the now. "What a tragedy to awake and see that I never learned to stay" is one if the best lines I've ever heard.

I’m not sure if he ever shared why he wrote it but it was about losing his best friend. At that point, I think it was very fresh that’s why he probably couldn’t talk about it. He does wipe tears from his face toward the end of the song.

​@@ZealotSmurfCorrection, the song will be released publicly sometime next year. The T-shirt comes with an exclusive *acoustic* version which they say will never be released again.
Gotta say, I feel like it's a bit of a scummy move to permanently lock a version of a song behind a $40 t-shirt but I can't blame them for trying new marketing strategies. Just hope this isn't a regular thing.
