Starting a Clothing Brand with No Money - is it possible?

- for today's video I wanted to do a quick how-to guide of building a clothing brand with no money in the bank (let's say you got $100 to your name for this). While life is definitely easier starting a brand with money to make samples, spend on paid media, and pay for top design programs & web interfaces, truthfully it's never been easier to build with no budget. While social platforms and TikTok & Instagram have become more and more competitive, there's still so much room to get yours and dominate through organic content. Today I walk through each step from a high level view of how I would start with next to no money being spent, and how you can go about getting your first sales before reinvesting those into improving your process. Been getting a lot of DM's about this topic so thought I'd share! As always, appreciate the support and please continue to leave me feedback, it's very very helpful.

Pixlr has some good options for photoshop - and AI models that you can put a logo on their shirts exist as well.
Is Pixlr the one that makes it easiest to crop photos onto white backdrops? I feel like I’ve used it once or twice, yeah I know people are getting more into the AI model thing which I can see working for some
Good stuff! I appreciate the knowledge and insight. Starting a brand for the first time so this helps out so much.
Glad I could be some sort of help! Lmk if you have any questions 🙂
Thanks for these vids 😌
You got it🤝
Does location matter? every succesful brand is nyc, la, atl or london etc
I would definitely say location can have an impact, and ofc it’s much easier to grow a brand in one of the major cities where it’s easier to connect with other creatives, do pop-ups, social content, etc. however I wouldn’t say it’s a requirement as you have brands like Badson that are based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, which is far from a major fashion city. Those bigger cities definitely make life easier, but can also be seen as more competitive, whereas coming from a smaller city or place could actually prove to be an advantage
Why is getting a sample expensive?
Because the factory is only making 1 of the item vs 50 for example. They hardly make any money on the sample for the amount of time + labor involved, hence why they have to charge much higher than the bulk pricing
Photopea is free and just like photoshop
Thanks for the rec
