    The road needs top coat of gravel. Im sure you know that. I have seen dirt roads become impassable after a big rain . As for your message about roads, makes me remember.
    All roads have intersections we decide which way to go hopefully not getting lost. My life experiences prove the rough bumpy road takes us to smooth roads of life. All with the help of the master road builder.

      Right, plenty to do yet on this road. Life is definitely about making choices for sure…

    Amen brother. God leads us to try to bring people closer to god. We do not always see the road clearly but if we use our heart and solo and take time he will lead us to the road. I was shown this by volunteering more in my church. I volunteer on the security team on Sunday's. I was asked to fill in for a gentleman that covered the youth program on Wednesday nights while he had surgery. The first night while checking kids in. This teacher brought me these 4 boys and said security handle these boys. I'm tried of dealing with them. I was like, what in the world do you want me to do with them to myself. So I told them to sit down at a table and I will be there in a minute after I get through checking kids in. The entire time I praying to god what am I going to do with them. So I walk over an sit at the table with them. Then I say so what do you yall do for a living. They were what did he say. I think he asked what we do for living. They said we are kids we don't do anything for a living. I told them if you going to not act right and have sit down here with me I going to treat you like a man. Men talk, about work, cars, god, life etc. Then I asked one of them what do you like to do. He said build computers. I said if you are smart enough to build computer but you can't act right in class and disrespect your teacher. I said every year in school, you are closer to being a man. If you want to be a man, you have to earn respect by respecting others and living by gods word. I truly believe god was working through me to teach those boys. Because I had never worked with kids before. So we talked about several other things that night about becoming good men. I asked another one what do you like to he said karate. I asked if was any good at it he said why. I said I'm suppose to be security here I what to make sure you can'tkick me out. He said this man is crazy. I said a closing prayer with them asking god to lead these youth men in coming closer to you. So I would talk with them as they came through the doors every week. They would say hello Mr.Jamie and shack my hand because that what men do. After about three weeks the pastor came to me and said those 4 boys want you as a teacher. A teacher of what. How to be a good man.I was like what ? He said I watched god work through you 4 weeks ago sitting a table. He said I was standing in the hallway. You made a connection with them. He said you know what all four of those boys have in common. I said they all are 8th graders. He said no. He said not a one has a father figure in there life. I said what? He no. I told him I do not know how to teach kids. He said let god work through you to change the road those boys are on. So I did and now 8 years later those boys have graduated college and are god christian men volunteering with the youth on Sunday mornings in our church. I'm still teaching on Wednesday nights with a bout 20 young men in my class. So god can build roads through you. If you let him. As always my friend enjoyed your messages. Keep up the hard work. Will be reaching out to you about a hat because I would be proud to wear one. Have a good night.

      That is a great story of how God will use someone and put them on the road He wants them on. Glad to hear those young men grew to be good Christian men! God bless you for being willing to work with these young men for the last years…

    1) Common sense decisions being made on site (that is very very rare today, unicorn rare) 😂

    Sam that’s the closest to our grade and dirt consistency we’ve seen , it’s looking good do you think they’ll have to address the cut bank side for erosion?

    • @tristardiggin
      @tristardiggin  9 місяців тому

      Dan you definitely have some steep ground too. 😳
      The cut bank will be an erosion issue for a while until it kind of self stabilizes.
      The way to minimize it would be to cut the slope way back but that is a bit more money for sure.
      More economical way is to deal with the silt with consistent maintenance. It won’t be a lot of fun to keep it clean but is definitely necessary.
