Obviously, there are many theories herein as to what this location you have found was used for, but I did not see anyone cover the following: As I understand it, one of the main industrial products produced by the Mediterranean cultures (even up until today actually) is oil for cooking, olive oil and if you look it up, you will see that the old method of purifying the raw oil from its beginnings as crushed Olives, ending with a finished product that can be packaged and sold entails the process of washing with water so that the oil and the water are first mixed together, repeatedly in vats like these where the water naturally purifies the oil and the impurities fall to the bottom and is periodically cleaned out. And then the oil is removed from that vat and moved to another one where the same thing is done again where it is further purified, etc. There’s a whole video on this subject on UA-cam somewhere I remember seeing years ago. Maybe you can find it. I believe it’s still done that way in certain areas in Greece even today. So I think it might be an Industrial scale cooking oil production facility. It seems like this would be easy enough to check seeing as how they would be olive residue at the bottom of these vats maybe . Just an idea.

it, looks like a method of room heating. those squares and all the pipe shapes through the wall and under the floor, are a heating system. simple only need one boiler at the top of the hill. heat it till steam, then pour it down through the pipes and everybody just got free heating and warm stone wall as long as they can keep a fire burning at the top of the hill

It was a "water-based-society", everything was hydrologically powered! Perhaps they had water-wheels that powered saw mills, or grindstones for things like wheat? They absolutely had running water for cooking and bathing. Maybe they floated in the water for meditation purposes? There could have been fisheries where they raised fish for eating? There could have been "water-pistons" that generated electricity? Who knows!

Very curious place...obviously some people were very busy doing something there. It's something to think about that they used terrazzo as building construction,but it makes sense where water is involved,it's impervious to water when applied correctly. They use it today as flooring and counter tops and can be quite costly,made from granite and marble chips and epoxy. Those walls and surfaces appear to have once been covered by facias, probably once as ornate and beautiful as we see Petra today. Were they intentionally demolished? If the destruction is natural these facilities would need to be over 10,000 years old.

Would they have had wood panels or soft surfaces laying on top of these channels used for cabling or water ways, that run along the floor?, Easy pull-up surfaces "wood" make it easy to access underneath and offer a softer surface to walk on.. There are "cart ruts" in Austin Texas also. I don't think most Americans know about them...hell Texans in Austin don't know about them. The Snake Bros talked about them and Wandering Wolf UA-cam channel has covered them. The ruts in Austin are waved away as just wagon tracks from the westward expansion of the 1800s. If that were true mud would have had to fossilize and turn to bedrock in 100-200 years without the ruts being disturbed or washed away UNTIL they turned to stone...in 100 years! I've joked that Malta's ruts go off in the ocean and they pop back out in Austin Tx. I'm curious if the Tx ruts are the same width, depth, and distance apart as the Malta ruts. I've seen the ancient aliens thing so much that I am not even sure that we aren't all different than we've been told. Stories aren't exactly true like he's exposing but there's probably at least a little truth in them. Example Tower of Babel story probably not true but if you study the flow of people across the continents, how language evolved and then look at the etymology of words you can see progressively a transition of original meaning of words. For instance the letter J didn't exist in any language during the time of the supposed writing of the Bible nor did the word God. The etymology of the word God is Sanskrit (Gud) and meant evil.
