Mortimer Freeze is my overall favourite boss from the Cuphead DLC, followed closely by The Howling Aces and Chef Saltbaker. I also really like the Moonshine Mob boss fight. All of the bosses in the Cuphead DLC are awesome! I enjoyed playing the Cuphead DLC.

I played it and really enjoyed the varying difficulties! A bit sad there weren't any Run n Gun levels but still really entertaining! Glumstone: Really cool idea with a giant enemy. Reminded me of the troll in the run n gun level. Him swallowing the player was a genius and terrifying idea! Moonshine Mob was cool because of the many different phases. The middle one confused me for a bit but was pretty easy after a few tries. Esther Winchester was a whole journey and really wild. Especially the last phase where you need to ply through the open spaces and narrow hallways (made of sausages). Not that difficult though. The Howling Aces were my favorites by far! The plane control was a nice challenge and the last phase messed with my head so much! The middle phase was super easy though. Mortimer Freeze: Reminded me of Ice King from Adventure time but was a cool boss. Didn't like his last phase that much though. Saltbaker: Super difficult! And as the final boss a must. The fire annoyed me the most. Phase 2 was a really nice mechanic and so was phase 4. Angel & Devil: Now THAT was awesome! First having to solve a riddle to get there and the boss itself was very creative and amazing designs! Too bad the reward was meh. The King's Tournament was a good addition. I liked the simpler "Find the weakness and use timing to win" approach. The hardest for me was the Rook and the rest was pretty easy. Too bad we didn't get to fight the King himself. The items were interesting. I didn't really enjoy playing as Ms. Chalice so I just never used her.
@Zerozerozero if that's true, then good. I can't imagine spending even a year on a project this crazy. They put so much passion into this game, and they deserve a break.
if you notice in 4:42, there is a ''wanted'' poster on the window on the bottom part of the saloon where her arms are supposed to be that comes flying when Esther comes down, love details like this
The animations on Chef Saltbaker are CRAZY!!! The fact that they actually made an entirely different animation for his hand in the second phase when he’s cracked is insane attention to detail
Watching this made me realize that in Glumstone's second phase, his arms aren't part of the hitbox, only the puppets are. I made that so much harder than it needed to be.
I'm surprised that no one threw up when playing the Glumstone level where you fight in his stomach or when the screen changes during the Howling Aces fight.
I mean as someone who played Bowser's Inside Story, Rayman Origins, Binding of Isaac, Smash Bros with Items On, Sonic All Stars Racing, and Kirby RtDL, you learn how to adapt.
My reactions for each boss phase: Glumstone: Okay, the default! This should be the final phase! What the heck is that? The Mob: I don’t like this phase. Nice, a cool scrapped attack! This dude looks so cool, is he the anteater? Why are there two knockouts? The Aces: Different from what I thought; only two attacks!? Two words: Very easy I didn’t see this, her attacks are bland. Mortimer (when his fight got leaked): Simple enough. This is amazing and so fun, too! Is he a giant snowflake??? Esther: Too much… stuff… This is so cool! She also spits out the valuables! So that’s how she turned into sausage… Cool for a final phase. The King’s Leap: I shoulda known that these would be bonus levels that grant coins… Angel and Demon: A secret final boss!? What the heck did I miss? Saltbaker (wait, what): THIS IS A NIGHTMARE He’s giant now! Didn’t we already see enough giants? Why’s this phase so short? He’s battling with his heart. Cool. Awesome DLC, worth playing. 10/10
how do they actually make the noises is my biggest question, example: listen to the angel when it sends the beam (15:12) and listen to all the sound effects of the parry, a lot of effort must be put into this.
Looking at the ending, it seems Chef Saltbaker would more likely be the reformed villain than The Devil, just by looking at the pages/scenes during the credits, if Studio MDHR decided on making another Cuphead game or if he makes an appearance in the Cuphead Show: Season 2 and so forth. Just my assumption. ^^

I said that too!
I loved the fact the Munshine Mob has still one small boss at the end that most ppl would fail beating if they think that knockout in paper is the end of the boss. I'd also get frustrated if the snail killed me in surprise.
I should get this dlc soon. The facial expressions in this are on par with some of Bluth’s best work, I’m amazed
I may get destroyed in this game but I love watching the animations. Such dedication they put in this game is truly inspiring to see.
I'm glad saltbaker actually had to do community services, he got punished, but not killed, which gave him a change to redeem himself, and he did ! Glad he actually became good at the end of the credits ^^
i love how saltbaker's redeemed after being evil and getting his butt kicked by kids
After losing basically his home he realized his wrong doings and became a good man
I like that he turned out good :3 I do find it weird that all he got for several murders and literal kidnapping was community service😭
@@cherrydeli4525He IS the greatest chef of all of the land however. It would make sense to show him some pity, at least in my opinion.
Daily reminder: You're not useless. You're not a dissapointment. You're not dumb. You're not different. You're not compared to anyone. Because... You're loved. You're strong. You're smart. You're beautiful inside and out. You're the best version of YOU there ever is. and you're human. I know you're going through a lot of stuff right now but it'll be okay. This life is a long journey. In a journey, there are ups and downs. If you ever go down, it doesn't mean you can't go back up. Rest easy and give yourself a treat :) I love you very very much and I just want you to know that.💕And when you go back up, you have that space in your heart that can help others back up, as well
8:27 When Ice king from adventure time gets a new job. He looks really committed tho. Lol
Also i love those new bosses, it feels like they got more of a dynamic style. And they are well made as the usual.
My favourite -The Holding Aces
My favorite was howling aces cause I like the flipping upside down mechanic and also I like dogs
I'd wish many people bought the DLC, just so the team can receive absolute rewards for their hard ass work
there’s a thing called money which is something not everyone has
@@karmore17076 There's also a thing called, "I'm not the only who doesn't has money, so I understand. But I made this comment just so I can praise the team for their great work. And hope that *other people who have money and did buy the gsme* bought the DLC."
Sorry, but I did find your comment a little bit sudden.
@@pivotalpancake5454 I apologize if you found this comment to be an insult
@@karmore17076 Oh, it's okay.
Chalice so I just never used her.
the middle one is based off an unused enemy from the original game, the enemy was called the light and had the same mechanics just more basic
Who else read this entire thing in 45 seconds
And reference, 0:38 King dice and the devil as puppets.
The reward isn't "meh" at all
@@chrange9714 In fact if you beat all of the DLC Bosses with the Cursed Artifact(Wich also sets your HP to 1.) You can use any Weapon in any fight.
If the game is gonna be this well animated, then I don't care how long I'm going to wait. The team did a really great job especially the animators
The music in this is SO underrated
They've nailed the the roaring 20's vibe
Now wonder we had to wait for 3 years, this looks amazing
@Zerozerozero if that's true, then good. I can't imagine spending even a year on a project this crazy. They put so much passion into this game, and they deserve a break.
Cuphead will go down in Video Game History!
One of these best game I've since in a while
Moonshine mob really brought the old/unused bosses like the giant spider and the light back!

amazing
When there are people who thought Saltbaker is going to be the final boss and they’re right
I had a feeling he was
I knew that saltbaker was going to be evil from the second i saw him the first trailer. I’m glad i was right.
16:01 holy cow when i first saw this i was literally suprised
Same it was scary seeing salt baker kill everyone in the back and even see his evil door open that shows how good mdhr did
Mrs.Chalice: Huh?! Where did he go?
Mugman: Let’s go down here. I’m wondering where’s Cuphead… I hope you’re okay, Bro.
Saltbaker Meets Drago bludvist
The animations on Chef Saltbaker are CRAZY!!! The fact that they actually made an entirely different animation for his hand in the second phase when he’s cracked is insane attention to detail
Watching this made me realize that in Glumstone's second phase, his arms aren't part of the hitbox, only the puppets are. I made that so much harder than it needed to be.
I love how chef saltbaker has to help all the other bosses with their work since he sent the trio after them in the first place

If he makes an appearance in the show, he'll probably be the one guy the Devil is legitimately scared of.

My reactions for each boss phase:
Glumstone:
Okay, the default!
This should be the final phase!
What the heck is that?
The Mob:
I don’t like this phase.
Nice, a cool scrapped attack!
This dude looks so cool, is he the anteater?
Why are there two knockouts?
The Aces:
Different from what I thought; only two attacks!?
Two words: Very easy
I didn’t see this, her attacks are bland.
Mortimer (when his fight got leaked):
Simple enough.
This is amazing and so fun, too!
Is he a giant snowflake???
Esther:
Too much… stuff…
This is so cool! She also spits out the valuables!
So that’s how she turned into sausage…
Cool for a final phase.
The King’s Leap:
I shoulda known that these would be bonus levels that grant coins…
Angel and Demon:
A secret final boss!? What the heck did I miss?
Saltbaker (wait, what):
THIS IS A NIGHTMARE
He’s giant now!
Cuphead always has the most creative bosses
Ya,they even have the devil's skeleton in the background of the secret boss fight
6:30 is it just me or the cat look really like the boss we fought (the robot cat get control by the mouse)
It is actually which to me is really funny

Looking at the ending, it seems Chef Saltbaker would more likely be the reformed villain than The Devil, just by looking at the pages/scenes during the credits, if Studio MDHR decided on making another Cuphead game or if he makes an appearance in the Cuphead Show: Season 2 and so forth. Just my assumption. ^^
I have never nor do I plan on playing this game. I am here to appreciate the brilliance of the art style and creativity of every little aspect of it.
Imagine a 10 year old kid from 1930 saw cuphead cartoon on TV, and now, after nearly 100 years, he can once again feels the joy of playing the cuphead game. He's 102 year old.
I love the animation style in the DLC. it looks updated, a bit more to the present day (in a good way), and smooth as hell.
