Can you believe there's a conspiracy theory that the whole of _Help!_ and _Rubber Soul_ were actually only written in the 1960s, and not by Ovid at all?
I know, the Romans would take a quorn stone and chip narrow grooves in it. But the sound quality was generally awful so I suspect some modern AI audio enhancement here.
I've started learning Latin just recently. Then I managed to sneak myself into a class of Latin. The teacher began to explain pronunctiation and such to me,(the rest of the class was having an exam) then he told me to read sth, so I did and he was amazed, he was like "oh, so, you've read Latin before, no?" I said I didn't and he said "oh.. so.. do you sing in Latin?" So thank you so much for doing this!!! You taught me Latin pronunctiation. I am grateful, truly 😇 also, please, could you translate "Norwegian wood" by the Beatles? That'd be great. Anyways, keep up your astonishing work, you're amazing!
I cant express the sheer joy I feel as I listen to your pieces! All of a sudden my undergrad years doing Latin & Greek whilst doing English degrees is more relevant than I could have ever dreamed! Already singing & dancing with the grandbabes (it's what this Grantie has done with them from birth) from your Latin Disney tunes! This is really special to me. Thank you.
Excuse me I am Yemeni and my mother tongue is Arabic language but I am so excited to start learning Latin😍😍 I have the book lingva Latina pars 1 is it enough for the beginning or there are other steps you may recommend me to follow as a beginner . Waiting for ur advice 😊

I am primarily learning from Rosetta stone. It ensures my pronunciation is correct as well as being a daily interactive teacher. You LEARN Latin not how to TRANSLATE Latin. After 3 months I have begun to THINK in classical Latin which is what I want to do. I find myself identifying things in my environment and ways of being such as hungry in Latin. This is first steps. I've never heard this song before. But after having looked up and heard the original, I must say.. this is much better :) Grātiās from a new latin learner
It's great. Anyone wanting to learn any language at all, even Latin, one of the best ways to immerse yourself in the language is in song. Plenty of songs were written in Latin, even if it was Medieval Latin. I always enjoy singing Adeste Fideles at the Cathedral on Christmas Eve.

You should do more simple Beatles songs, like "Here Comes the Sun" or "Let it Be" or "In My Life" or "Blackbird." These well known songs I think would be very enjoyable and help people learn.
@@evanlutz7071 yes, I am a fluent speaker and reader of Latin. 😊 And it takes plenty of time! Haha. The translation is a very careful activity, like writing a poem; the video recording and editing and audio take days.
@@ScorpioMartianus How did you become fluent? I've been studying Latin for years and I can read at an intermediate level I would say but I'm not close to being able to read or speak fluently. In school, I was never taught Latin with an emphasis on speech, so that's probably part of it. Latin is taught as though it's a kind of intellectual exercise more than an actual language, which is why I really admire your work because you have a love not just for text but for the sound and spoken word. It's very inspiring.

Thanks a lot, i feel in love with other covers of hellfire, thanks a lot. Heck, wow, so cool to know that older people and christians used to not care about virginity and do not based your worth and innocence on it, and your rights to love on it. So cool, look at what the back whispers mean in latin in those songs. So cool, they called maria an ever virgin, yet someone who birthed jesus. And they said Mea Culpa, meaning, whatever frodo does is not their fault, but his to be accountable for.
