in my humble opinion the most beautiful series of cymbals both aesthetically and in terms of material, sound and price I liked to buy the version with Rude 24 Mega Power Ride. definitely fabulous.
Those sound very nice, and as a 15 yr old new hair guitar player in 85, all the cool drummers used them. I didn't know they were still being made. Their look is so iconic. They belong on 9 piece minimum double bass sets like the ones used by the 80s era drummers.
They are not as Rude as the name suggests. Nice tone ( different ) but very nice even decay and resonates. Nice build to them with great stick definition. I'm impressed. 👏🙌
I always feel like these are derided so much due to their looks, but these things WILL be heard when playing in super loud settings and honestly with how heavy they are I think they sound pretty damn good
Why on earth are these called Rude? I've always thought that these are just big, loud and clanky cymbals and didn't have much interest. Now i've seen a bunch of videos and these always sound very good, rich and versatile. And also look great.
Hi!! What would you recomend me between a Rude 20" Crash/Ride versus a Rude 20" Thin Crash as versartile crash ride?? I know tge obvious choice would be the CR, but I want stick definition and a good crasheable cymbal to keep the rythm
Ah, yes, the good old Rude series. Beloved by many an 80's metal drummer, I believe. I can see why. Great video, folks.
LOVE THOSE CYMBALS, CANNOT GET ENOUGH !! I wish I had the money : ((((

You have to really lay into the 20” Ride/Crash to get it open up.
