Shark Teeth at Venice Beach
Today we headed to the Venice Pier to rent Florida snow shovels from Sharky's! We then drove right down the road to Caspersen Beach (smaller parking area but not very busy with the chilly weather, so the camper fit 😃) to search for shark teeth! It was windy & cold & the waves were rough so we didn't stay much longer than an hour, but we still found 50+ shark teeth! 🦈. We would love to go back on a warmer day & do this for hours!
The process is pretty simple: Scoop the shovel into the water right past the shelf, shake out as much sand as possible, dump the remaining contents onto a solid surface, carefully sift through to find shark teeth...repeat!
