What is my experience of generosity?
I remember sometime in 1983 or 1984 I was still single travelling from Angeles City to Tarlac to go to work. As I alighted a jeepney my foot slipped and I fell on my knee. It was scraped bleeding. I could very well remember 2 guys who were peddling stuff inside the buses, missed getting in the coming bus because they helped me get up and brought me in a nearby shop to nurture me and helped me clean my wound. At that time I was in poverty and these guys showed me generosity. Imagine, they missed the bus to sell their stuff to help me.

God has blessed me with parents who imbibed humility and kindess. Our family belonged to the lower middle class of society but I never felt it. I always thought we had more because I saw contentment in my parents and they shared whatever little they had. They showered us with love which made us feel contented, as well, and embrace the life each of I and my siblings have. I am happy to live God"s Love in my life.

Thank you so much Father! Ive been in hotel quarantine at the moment, I spent my time pondering on his words from your talks, Examine my spiritual life, taking down notes repeatedly watching listening to all your talks. Im in a crisis due to loss of my parents but came to realise that prayer is not a self centred monologue but a God centred dialogue, not all about me but HIM. Life is short and death is certain, whilst we live spend our time observing and practising Poverty, Generosity and Contentment. That even Jesus who is a giver of life chose Poverty. I pray that God may protect you Father so more lives will be touched by your God given wisdom. All the best.
