This outer cover lasted about 6 years, we already glued it once, need to let a professional do it next time, you can also paint them if it's just faded, but gluing is almost never successful longterm.
Towboat Us pays us, we're contracted to do their tows, and we are responsible for the boats & up keep. I just work for the local branch/LLC that services this area.
yeah that's the consensus we came to.. i always pulled it out, but if you're throwing it in the garbage, who cares, just don't hit the foam.. Bladder/air tubes I'd pull the bladders first, but still cut after..
It amazes me how the outer cover being slid into a track on the rigid hull is strong enough to not pull out under load. Very cool video.
Interesting process
Impressed you did that in a standard parking spot with other cars/boats beside you lol
Love this channel. Keep them coming please.
Nice Job Beats sanding and painting.
If you saw the price tag you’d be happy to sand & paint
😂 I was wondering how much. I can only imagine especially since I know you have to change them regularly
How often do you need to replace the cover and inner bladder? It sure seems like a lot of work!

Well done guys you all done a great job 👍👍👍
Cool! Did you noticed that foam absorbed some water, or foam was completely dry? Do you know what type of foam is used on this boat?
It had a little water in the outer first inch maybe. but still overall pretty light
That was very cool!
This equipment pays your salary. Take care of it. Well done sir.
Do you, as the franchise owner, have to pay for that maintenance, or is it covered by TB?
Towboat US is basically a contract, but both Seatow & Towboat owners pay for all of their own boat’s & repairs.
Gotcha. Thanks for replying.
Do you own that boat or is there a company with a few boats

Nice.
Simple to cut first huh instead of struggling to pull it all out .
