Eric Johnson's music is timeless and in the ranks of Mozart and Bach. I thank the lord that my childhood wonder was filled with his music. And I carry his music on with my kids.
Eric Johnson, great guitarist with impeccable tone and great note choices! Awesome as guitarists we should all aspire to add a little Eric to our repertoire of licks!!

@tommyradcliffe couldn't have said it better myself. His technique is flawless and his chops are literally unbelievable. Not to mention he gets the most incredible tone out of his guitar; makes me want to shell out for an American Strat. I would put him and Greg Howe on the uppermost echelon of guitar gods.
@VintageSH Me and a buddy of mine started talking about guitar players that we liked and I told him I was a pretty huge Tremonti fan and he just kind of shrugged. But he went on to say that if I'm going to listen to Tremonti then I need to go back and find out who and what Tremonti learned from. He also made that same statement you did. Yes, I wish shredders today did this. Sure guitarists like Buckethead, Jason Becker, and Kiko Loureiro own that tone, but if you’re going to do those long ass sweeps and tapping runs, make your guitar sound like this.
@@darthvader4339 I believe it is easier to mask mistakes in a run, with heavy distortion. As a lot of the notes blend together. With this clean of a tone, near perfection is required because every individual note is audible.
@@encontreunlugar What’s wrong with liking Reggaeton, your also the one hating on people just because they listen to a genre of music that is trendy. People notice his great skills on the instrument but this CD emphasized another skill, his skill as a writer. These pieces have luscious color, are well thought out, cover ground in a wide range of styles, all while showing a great economy and compactness. Hurray for Eric! I hope he produces more music.

Definitely Eric Johnson's most classiest song. I can just picture myself driving down Manhattan at nine in the evening, taking in the glitz and the lights while making my way to a nice dinner party.
