u had shown the "godrej scorpio" lock in the collection that was sent to you way back. it was in the collection on display alongside the Europa "unpickable" lock. Its was sort of cylindrical. Have you picked that lock yet?
Love you're video's, Ive been studying your picking pattern and it's helped me a lot out on the field however I'm still struggling to successfully pick a uro profile cylinder malty lock with a dimple key it's the one with the key that has the two strong arms on it as a logo picture I'm a young locksmith striving to be the best at what I do could you please make a video on this particular lock that demonstrates you picking it and dissecting it please please please
Godrej padlocks are no longer safe from hands of Dacoits as they can easily broken by inserting heavy iron rod through the shackle like the one used to dig the soil used by road and building construction labourers and applying pressure on the rod easily breaks shackle in minutes from the cut side where the lever holds it from inside the lock. I recently witnessed this kind of insident.
It has "0194" stamped on the bottom. That looks like that's the bitting! Doesn't it strike anyone as possibly a bad idea to write the bitting on the outside of your lock?
I don't think that that was the bitting. 3 and 4 were almost the same cut. Seriously, even Master lock or the Chinese manufacturers wouldn't put the key code on the lock. No disrespect intended...
I was thinking that the furthest in pin was 0, then the next 1, then 9 then 4. (In that order the first two are low, the third is high, and the fourth is in the middle.) Note that the same number seems to be marked on the keys.
ten depths would be redic. also usually you count from the bow, also usually low numbers represent shallow cuts. far more likely its an indirect code, imo. lots of manufacturers mark locks and keys with them.
It seems to correspond to the bitting from back to front: 0 for pin 4 1 for pin 3 9 for pin 2 4 for pin 1 Of course we need more samples to confirm that. But if it's true, that's a really stupid move by this company.
Please reply which lock is best from India ..manufacturer and model name .. Godrej Navtal Primium is good or not ..or any other which is good.. please suggest me
Don"t know what"s available to you in India & what price point you have , personally 2 of my favourites are an Abloy 330 & an Abus diskus plus 20/70 :]
What it is to have one's hopes dashed time after time. When I saw the icon for this vid I thought: Hopefully at last a decent lock LPL can perhaps come close to recommending. But no, India is competing with China in the Shitstakes Derby!! But here's a thought LPL, given not many thieves are lock pickers, and more are likely to use brute force than even raking or bumping, is this perhaps a viable option? Can it be shimmed perhaps? I'm thinking in terms of using it as a bike disk lock.
I love that they also mill nice flats in the lock so you can twist it off the hasp with a wider variety of wrenching devices.
lol, so true!
Maybe they consulted Master Lock for pinnig advice?
I dare say it could be improved. Pop some spools in there and sort out 3 and 4 a bit, and you’d have a decent lock.

Also Godrej Herculoc
LPL literally breaking stereotypes on Godrej being the last word among Indian locks
Very comprehensive review of a relatively simple lock.
Thanks.
Another addicting video. Thank you!
You made it pretty easy to crack the lock....!!! Looks like you may be appointed as their quality tester for Godrej....after seeing this video.
Hey lpl, you should do a video on the best bike lock you can make. Kinda like what you did for the self made gun lock you did a while back
Great picking brother, too bad they didn't use more pins in this one though. Thanks for the review!
Shame the core is poor, the rest of the lock looked like decent quality. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful lock, to bad about the core. From the outside it looks tuff lol
good stuff as always!
Hey LPL absolutely love your videos, i am still waiting for the godrej herculoc video of yours :)

He's not an English major, but he's a big fan of our lawyer friend so perhaps judicial acquisition and penitentiary dodging is his thing...;)
"...I'm a young locksmith..."
In the field for him would mean when he's out doing locksmithing work...
That would be mul t lock... I have a playlist of picking a few dozen of them. Check it out. Also see video 319... great stuff for picking dimples.
I love your vids
I have a different Godrej but it's a dimple lock. This looks super chunky but a shame its bitting was garbage. Well at least it looks tough! :)
They have quite a few nice locks... this just isn’t one. At least not in the pick resistance department.
Thats a pretty decent key way as well.
True & the build makes you think its a more secure lock.....................
What happened to the others Godrej locks you presented in video 419? Those looked great and would be nice seen them picked
Mr. LPL -- Am I correct to assume there was a sliding locking bar or some locking balls to secure both sides of the shackle?
Yes... a sliding bars on both sides.
As always " a speedy pick "
i wonder how this lock would do vs the hammer and other brute force attacks
Would it be difficult to rake because of the low-high, 1-2 pins?
Probably.
Which is best lock?
You should cut off the 3+4th pin and see if the 2 pin key works
In India these locks are considered the best... I was about to order this lock thanks to this video I changed my mind
Are you Brett Gelman?
Could it be opened by hammer? (Looks like the shackle is only notched on the hinge side.)
Probably not.
I'd love to see LPL pick the Godrej Herculoc padlock...at $130.00, probably not going to happen!
Hey bro please pick the godrej ultra scorpio lock.... Your videos are exposing these godrej cheaters
Have you picked Sherlock Ultra lock by Godrej made in India?
The Master Lock of the Indian world. Tough exterior but chewy caramel center. Wonder how this would fair against the pipe wrench or Ramset?
Your description almost sounds like an Oh Henry bar
@@clearcreek69 I forget who used it at first , might have been Bosnian Bill . But apt description . :D
What a shame they dropped the ball on that core. Could have been a great lock.

Nice looking lock - shame it"s an easy 4 pin .................
Suggest any good lock from india?
Can you shim this lock
No.
You pick any padlock.
you found the weakest link in the chain
My ex old lady tattoo her name on my chest. MARA! 😭
I’m surprised this particular video has so little views
Not expecting from Godrej this type of key....my Question is which lock is best and not opened? Please suggest I am from India .please please

Nope, it can’t be shimmed.
Wow.

Viro make a better version
I’ve not tried one yet. Anything special other than the “secret” pin?
LockPickingLawyer security pins inside
Looks like a direct viro rip off. Lol
I have a viro that looks the exact same that is much harder to pick.
There’s quite a few companies that do this, but yes, same design.
Can you speak a little faster.
First?
