VOCAL LINE
JUNGKOOK main vocalist, his voice is in middle range with breathy tone. He easily switches to lower , middle , higher notes. Most of the background vocals, adlibs, harmonization with singers and rappers are done by him. His vocals are most stable while dancing to hardest choreography in whole kpop. His vocals are powerful.but when he uses his breathy vocals it's full of emotions.(-great vocal range) Heavenly golden voice.
JIMIN voice is in higher range and he can easily do highnotes and sometimes his voice is raspy
Beautiful high-pitched voice
Taehyung voice is in lower range and deep. He can do highnotes. (Great vocal range) and his growls.Soulful voice.
JIN voice is in middle range,little bit nasally he can easily do highnotes, his voice is sweet like honey. Silver voice

I am a 54 year old woman and an Army. My daughter got me into them when we were having a hard time communicating. We bonded over BTS and now have a wonderful relationship. There are many stories just like this. ARMY has a saying. You find BTS when you most need them.

As an old rock fan, believe me, I was the last one to expect to like a kpop boyband in my life... Still very grateful I met these boys, tho. Lyrics, performance, good songs, many music genres, personality... They have it all.
I’ve been a fan since 2015 and, believe me, they went through hell before succeding. They were sabotaged in their own country for years for not belonging to a big company with influence... Their international success was the thing that really gave them recognition in Korea and they worked a LOT for it.
Besides, really think they have messages that are important to everybody, from all ages, and deserve every single achievement they got.

This sounds like me just with R&B and hip-hop instead of rock. I guess that was the initial reason I got interested in them because of their hip hop roots and then once I learned about them individually and their amazing story, i fell down the rabbit hole😂💜

Sometimes you like artists music, but can't stand them as human beings. Sometimes you like artists as human beings more than their music. Both are bittersweet experiences. With BTS i get golden middle when i love their music and i admire them as human beings. So no matter what drops, their music or news about them, or random videos they film from their life and post them, variety shows, documentaries, behind scene dvd footage, tweets, photos from it all i get positive energy. Cause just seeing BTS name makes me smile. And it is valuable commodity now days, when life just seem to punch you in a gut every 5 days.
There is a lot of things to admire about people that are in BTS. They are young in age, but despite also very wise. Surprisingly realistic but not jaded. Very motivated and hard working. (Before pandemic they took one month vacation. It was their 1st real vacation in 5 years.) Very polite and nice to work with.
(After 7 years there is 0 insiders from set workers to high payed professionals they worked with who had anything bad to say about them. Instead there is tons of people saying they are nicest idols in industry to work with.)
And they are very restrained in how they use their social media power. They never abuse it to dig at someone or settle some grudge. It is really remarkable how consistent they are trying to better world through influence they have. It shows throughout so many different things and is so long lived and consistent. They not only talk but also try to actually live up to what they saying and use action to make changes happen. If they fuck up alon a way, they admit it, try to understand were they gone wrong and genuinely try to find the way to fix it and educate themselves on subject and take messures to grow and be better people. They don't shake off responsibility to public they have like most famous people do.They know very well how many people look up to them, because they admire and love them, so they trying to be best people they can be. They don't have to, but they just do. And that is why i admire BTS members as human beings. At least 30% reasons of why, we don't have time for last 70% cause this comment is getting very long. Lol

Don't be afraid to pause, we literally can watch 2+hour videos. Don't be afraid to share your honest opinion, we appreciate criticism of it's in respectful way. We are so done with fake people trying to please army for clout. Lots of people gave their random recommendations but I'll do it in a good order:
1) some MVs (on kinetic manifesto, black swan, mic drop, fake love, stay gold) don't forget about close captions. There is a storyline through their MVs but you will not be ready to dive into it soon. Just appreciate their lyrics.

2 hour video? I just watched a 24 hour long video compilation of Jimin talking....and I'm only on the 6th letter of the alphabet in my studies trying - desperately - to learn Korean. MOST of the video didn't have subtitles. Still sat through the whole thing (*AHEM*, okay, TWICE) just to listen to him talk! LOL
@@sunray535 Korean - search on here for "Miss Vicky". She's got around 60 videos - starting from the alphabet. Native Korean, so excellent pronunciations, etc. Goes through the verbs, nouns, and such, proper sentence structure, and SO much more.
If you're more into books for learning, there are a couple great "Learn Korean with K-Pop" books on Amazon. I prefer the videos so I can hear the way words are supposed to be pronounced. My daughter prefers the books, as she can sing all of the songs pretty much word-perfect at this point so she's more focused on the reading and writing aspect of Korean.
As for Jimin speaking...I literally looked on here for "Jimin Talking". It was NOT one of the first videos I found...it was actually quite far down the list...but, there are several shorter ones out there, too...some with and some without English subtitles.

The reason why fans love them is because they show A LOT of their personality and they are genuinely good, fun humans. It’s like you want to be their friend but you can’t, so you just watch their shows lol

After all their riches and popularity, BTS remained to be humble and grounded. Not only are they talented-writing and producing their own music, these guys are true artists. The fact that they produce individual mixtapes of the members and give it to their fans for free, speaks highly of them. Because of this, the fans have grown to love them and inspired by them. They also have fun personalities, i must say crackheads. They are my happy pill. You can check on their personalities in the Carpool Karaoke by James Corden. Oh my God, in France, there were more than 240 000 people waiting in queue a few minutes before the stadium was announced as sold out. And it was during the second day sale as well. The first day it was closer to 300 000 people. Just so you know, the stadium in Paris has a 60 000 capacity when it comes to concerts.

Apart from BTS's message and humanity, their art and music itself is also extremely layered and beautiful. They have a discography like no other artist I know, within 7 years they've released over 14 Albums/EP's. They work their asses off and it shows.

Getting a bts concert tickets is like the olimpics, you can't have them if you don't try with different accounts, I tried 3 times for France but I failed, and their last tour was a stadium world tour
I did get a ticket for the second day at Stade de France, it was a life changing experience. I hope they do come here again and you can get a ticket :)

I'm a 49 year old ARMY. I loved BTS so much. My daugher introduced me to them about 3 years ago. They helped me though a very difficult time in my life. Since I've been an ARMY. My daugher & I seen them in concert for the first time in 2018 at the Staple Center. Then in 2019 at the Rose Bowl. Would've been a 3rd at the Cotton Bowl in May 2020, but covid messed up everything! BUT, their concerts are the best! Out of this world concert; the energy alone is insane! I love these 7 young men... very, very talent men💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

lol don't be shocked with the size of their concerts, they sold many staduims around the world in North america, south america, Europe, asia, middle east... etc, performed at the legendary Wembley with 90k seats for TWO sold night straight 1st and 2nd june 2019 ! one of the only acts like Queen, micheal jackson, beyoncé.. that were able to sell it out ! been trynna get tickets since 2017 when i got ones for their staduim night in canada here, Covid happened lol

They're amazing people, who believe their music could make a difference and persevered despite getting slapped down and criticised over and over again. ARMY's been fighting alongside with them for their voices to be heard since their debut in 2013. They're passionate about what they do but, at the same time, are humble and genuine. J-Hope even wondered before why their fans love them so much, he was overwhelmed with their support and love :).
I came across BTS when I needed them the most, they helped me get through a tough time and I remember struggling with my job and staying up all night writing reports, I would listen to their music and be inspired by how hard they worked to get where they were. Anyways, apart from that their music is dope and so diverse as they don't stick with one genre of music but experiment every time. Enjoy diving in :)

10 mil people watched Jimin's live UNANNOUNCED session (30 mins) recently. Setting a new record for an individual. That is more than the total number of people (6+ mil) who tuned into the heavily publicized MTV VMAs.
I don't think there's another act that can sell out stadiums like bts does. It is still very impressive for me. They have sold out stadiums in America, Europe and Asia. also in Saudi Arabia which is a big deal. It's a bummer this doesn't get acknowledged in mainstream media. People still doesn't realize how big of an accomplishment that is

I saw BTS in concert with my 3 daughters in Chicago at Soldier Field. It was cold and rainy but BTS were more concerned about the fans being too cold and getting sick than they were about their own comfort. We know this from what they said at the concert and what we saw them say later in the behind the scenes videos. They really do care about their fans. I am 52 and they have inspired me to try new experiences and have given me something I can bond with my daughters over.

About the physical album sales, l personally buy the albums to hold it in my hands (maybe that is my age showing (65)but it also puts money from the sale of all albums and their merch into their hands and allows them to make donations and create projects to benefit not only ARMY but the public in general. I see it as, l can’t do much on my own but as a community of BTS and ARMY we are making a difference in the world, they are showing the world their way of doing good and we are so happy to contribute what ever we can to help.
By the way their next album due on the 20th Nov (which l have already preordered without know what type of music, number of tracks or even the concept) cost me $82.99 Australian dollars, paid gladly and without hesitation.

I'm 53. I've been ARMY for 4 years. I can never remember another artist having the influence with their fans as they do. And it well earned. They are lovely humans. They inspire us ll to be better humans.
And don't worry about their management and numbers. In terms of entertainment contracts these men lots of money. They each make 10% of concert revenue (70 for the boys/30% for the company). Their company recently became and IPO (openly traded company) and the CEO gifted each member a per entage of HIS ownership that was valued at 7 million dollars each....but now valued at over 21 million since the trading opened to the public not to mention what they make in their contract for merchandise, endorsements and appearances.
It actually make headline news on CNN. Could you imagine Americn entertainment companies giving artists shares in the company? But BTS made Big Hit and the CEO is like their father. BH went from nothing to a multi billion dollar company surpassing all the other kpop entertainment companies combined. We're talking crazy money but you would never know it. The boys remain humble, grateful and kind.

Something to note about BTS members, their stage, and/or their discography: whatever you like, they have it. They are great rappers, singers, dancers, producers, writers and yes they are even great artists and photographers. Their discography not only inspires ARMYs because of the messages but also appreciates what inspired each song. BTS and BigHit are inspired by literature. Sometimes you will watch a video and think, I don't understand what that has to do with the song? That's because they have their own "Bangtan Universe" which intertwines an alternate universe story that fans are engaged in and discuss different theories of what's to come etc. They are also great at teasing the next project. There is a joke within the fandom that BTS has had their own projects planned since 1492 or whatever. You'll be watching a current release from them and suddenly watch an older video or performance and think... WAIT A MINUTE!!!! They gave us a clue! This is how they keep the fans engaged other than their socially conscious messages and the best personalities that compliment each member of the group. Plus their performances are masterpieces. I can't wait for you to see their live stages from Korean Award shows. Have fun!
I'm 51 years old and from New Zealand. I fell down the BTS rabbit hole late February this year. During lockdown, I decided to do one wonderful thing for myself as a reward for doing my part during Covid-19. And that is to go see a BTS concert when they go back to touring. I think it's going to be difficult to get a ticket, as in HUNGER GAMES difficult and I'll have to go outside my country to go see them. But the money has been put aside for travel and for the ticket. They're my Beatles. They're my BTS of the 21st Century.

Pre-orders for their last album (physical copy) released in February 2020 alone was over 4.5 million copies. That's without knowing what the song set list is or even the cover of the Album itself. We (ARMY) trust them and their art in music that's why it's so easy to support them because everything created by them is QUALITY in the music they create & appreciate. Btw, they have a new album "BE" dropping next month. Pre-orders started since September. We're looking to give them another milestone in these upcoming weeks until the Album drops on November 20th. I know you are still new but if you really allow yourselves to open your hearts to bts and their philosophy i assure you guys that it will be just an emotionally rich and healing experience since they just are that way. They sell out stadiums in such a short period of time that we're lucky enough to get a 2nd date added for the same venue. Yes, they perform at SOLD OUT stadiums. I am a 64-year-old female and have been a fan of BTS for three years now. I love their sincerity, love watching the run episodes which are so humorous, their dance practices, their movie videos, and so much more. I have grown to love each and everyone of them, and I love their music because it’s good clean music. Well, I would say 99% of their music is clean. LOL. love watching new reactors to BTS. I also love going through reading the comments that army always leaves. I just subscribed, I look forward to many more reactions from you on BTS.
BTS is such a great and genuine group. To their performances, their music lyrics and the way they carry themselves as individuals.
Their lyrics is why I really started to listen to their music. They have so much meaning and purpose.
After watching interviews and the shows they make getting to know their personalities individual only confirms how humble they are and how true the stay to themselves.
They are one of the only artists I have seen show so much appreciation to their fans and thank them. They have also written songs for their fans to show how much they appreciate them 2 examples are "Make it Right" and "We are Bulletproof: The Eternal". They are just great human! bts changed me as a person. i'm not even exaggerating. that's the impact that they gave me that's why i don't like it when they are being disrespected. i mean for people like them who are sincere in their work they don't deserve that. bts made me look at myself more and appreciate myself more and respect the differences that exist in everyone. Getting a ticket to their concert is like a hunger games even korean celebrities admitted that buying their tickets is difficult. Others must have given you recommendations so I want be giving one but please consider on pausing the video when you talk
I am a 47 year old ARMY, I have been a fan of them for 5 years. In the course of my life I have liked many artists, it is more since I was a teenager I listened only to rock and metal. They came into my life at a very difficult time for me and they really are the ones who make me happy every day with their music, videos, content. Every day I dedicate time to them, it is my time, it is the moment when I relax and I only know that I am going to smile and feel happiness thanks to them. I had never felt a real connection with an artist as I feel with them, the love I have for them I cannot explain but they will enrich my life every day.
BTS inspired us to be the best version of ourselves. They healed us. They are the most genuine and most humble people on earth. Because of them i love myself even more.
First of all, thank you for giving the Bangtan boys a chance. I really admire you for it. I feel sometimes when guys think about the word "boy band", it could turn them off because the stereotype of boy band had in the past (boys singing & dancing about romantic love and screaming young teenage girls, etc) but then when you actually listen to BTS' music and learn their message, you will realize that BTS is far from a typical boyband indeed. However, most people already wouldn't give them a chance because of the word "Boyband". In fact, BTS 'fan base is so diverse in demography. Let me tell you this, I am a 41 years old with two young kids. I love BTS not because of their visuals but their music, message, talent, hard working, and how & who they are. Their music gives the positive and meaningful message, it is the kind of music that I would like my kids to grow up with (since a lot of music out there these days likes to talk about thug, drug, sex or other bad stuff.) I introduced BTS music to my kids and now we are fans of them. I think it is pretty cool that my kids and I are growing older and closer together listening to the same music.

26-year-old college student here. I went through a rough patch at the beginning of my college years only to ultimately find out that what I was experiencing was severe anxiety and depression. Through taking time off from college to becoming a part-time student, and ready to become a full-time student, it's taken me almost 7 years to come back to school so that I can finally get my Bachelor's degree.
When I feel extremely down and have no one to talk to, and I watch videos of BTS such as their BTS Run or videos of them in the early years of their career, it really encouraged me and still encourages me today to keep going. Ultimately, this is my life and I have to take care of myself first physically and mentally and no one else can stop me from doing that. When I lose motivation, my favorite songs to listen to are Dope, Make it Right, and now Dynamite! I hope you guys can react to Dope or even their dance practice videos. Their evident hard work really puts things into perspective making me want to work just as hard in my life! :)

I was one of almost almost 104,000 last year at Rose Bowl and that is truly how their concerts are. The lightsticks, the fan chants, the performances and the experience was just amazing. Trale mentioned "Dope". They have a song by that name, you should check it out.

I'm a mom..my daughter recommended that I listen to BTS songs..I first watched Mic Drop and from then on I never stopped watching all of their MVs, concerts, variety shows and anything about them. I fell in love with BTS. They are all amazing, whether they're singing rapping dancing or just being crackheads...they make me happy and cry at the same time as their music hits hard....I can say so much....just watch more of their videos. you'll see..💜💜💜
I've been a casual listener of western music since I was a teenager but I've never been a fan of them as a person. Now 27 yo and a researcher for my government, BTS's music is the only one who can resonate in my heart. Their lyrics help me going through hard times.
Regarding the whole re-signing thing - BTS almost broke up in 2018 because they felt like they had reached everything they wanted to achieve/were in a dark place mentally and emotionally and (conjecture on my part) felt like there was nothing left for them to do/they were going to stagnate. They worked out their problems after going on a trip with all 7 of them and taking through things before they decided to stay together as a band. Since then, they've really seemed much happier and content. I feel like this is kind of important info to understand why they said they re-signed for the fans and NOT for money.

I'm a 26yr old woman and becoming ARMY was the best decision I've ever made. I struggle greatly with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Everyday is very difficult in some manner. I never have energy. But when I became a fan much of that has changed although I still struggle. I'm exercising and wearing color. I have motivation now. I love writing but hadn't done so in over a year. Now I can't stop. I worried that I was going to become a huge fan just to find out how horrible they really are but I've never seen a more genuine group. Of course there will be things we don't see but they try to be as open with us as they can be. They've made me change the way I see the world. Human interaction. And ultimately helped me in my biggest road block, loving myself. These seven crazy talented Korean crack heads have become the reason that I can smile even after my tears.
BTS also gave $1Million to Live Crew Nation to help concert crews and staff out of work during C19, and members always donate around 100Million KRW to various charities on their birthdays. Their Love Myself Campaign with UNICEF is awesome and they’ve done 2 speeches in2018 and 2020 at the UN General Assembly with great messages for the youth (you should check them out!). BTS are awesome artists and great humble human beings. xCeleste does great informative videos on BTS. I recommend watching from her “From Nobodies to Legends”, “BTS’ Contributions to Music” and “BTS Hardships”.
#Ipurpleyou is a saying ARMY has for each other. It means unconditional love and acceptance no matter your age, gender, race etc.
Purple has become BTS color because of V. Wherever BTS go you can see purple lights of Welcome. When they went to the middle east they lit up the town with purple lights which I found pretty amazing.
V is Kim Taehyung he is one of the vocalists of the group and the one who started I purple you.
I also recommend you to watch a BTS crash course 2020 to go deeper into their music. You can also react to their 2020 album Map of the Soul 7. I was 25 years old when I first heard them back in 2014 and since then, I've never regretted the decision of being their army, their music saved and still saving lives, it brought us together, I never really had friends in el but now I can say proudly that I have a family besides me.
BTS make us proud of them every day, they teach us to be humble, to love ourselves and other people, i mean they even don't respond to the hate comments even when they are so hurt but they say to hurt them instead of hurting their armys, they have us and we have them

The reason why people love them so much is, I think because they show a lot of their genuine personalities including their vulnerabilities. Literally you can find videos of bts members in any type of situation, dealing with everyday stuff. Going shopping together, making dinners together, working out, arguing about stuff... And yet non of those videos are from their actual personal lives (tho we have alot of them too, where they record themselves and release in twitter) cameras are only following them in their professional settings or when they record a show - for example bon voyage where they go trips together- I think it's genius how they manage to release an immense amount of content where they are so open with their characters and relationships with each other while protecting their actual personal lives. The way they healthily manage their careers and relationship is something a lot of artists can learn from. there are many things they did right to reach this kind of success but their strategy with personality focused context? *chef kiss* It also helps that they are very funny and likable and have a genuinely healthy relationship with each other. Also great performances and music and genuine lyrics....

Thanks for this reaction. As a proud 53 yo ARMY I can tell you that we all buy physical copies if the albums (sometimes multiple copies if they have packaging options) if we’re able to support these guys who give us so much.
We are a highly organized fandom that sets goals for each release, work hard to break records, and even have groups to provide financial assistance to fans who can’t afford albums-all in the name of promoting seven men who have significantly changed our lives and the world. I was one of those lights in Soldier Field last year for two nights in freezing rain, and I am clinging to the tickets I have for 5 concerts when they finally go back on tour. We’d love to have you both join me and millions of others who have learned so much about love and compassion from a “boy band.”

Thank you so much for this documentary about the story of 7 talented South Korean kids working hard to perfect their talents. A story given professionally, specifically, truly, showing their message to people of all ages: it is about good in its pure form: through music, dance, singing, Easter eggs with wise texts, beautiful shows that give joy and positive energy to many people.
I loved your reaction. I don't know if you'll see this by now, but the only real advice i have in recommendations is watch a couple more of their "Get to know" videos covering both BTS and separate ones for the members, before you get into anymore MV's. I saw a few people recommend some for you to watch in the comments. Please don't think "oh the viewers will think this is repetitive or boring" Believe me, We don't. We will sit with smiles on our faces or tears in our eyes along side you, even if we have seen that video 100 times. We love to see people genuinely grow to like them because of who they are and what they stand for. Then, you have a lot of music to listen to, lol. Looking forward to your next BTS reaction. BTS all own a huge amount of shares in the company which was just listed on the Korea Stock Market recently.
They earn more than other Groups in Sth Korea and their company BigHit has always seen them as partners not just a product.
BTS co-write and produce their music with the in-house Producers-Songwriters who have been with BigHit since the beginning.They also invite writers and producers to join in collaborations as well
Im a 60 year old Army and though my daughter introduced me to BTS, I became Army before she did.
You don't find too many artists with the respect, sincerity, social awareness, hard working ethos and humbleness these days as you find with BTS.
