Absolutely insane that anyone would go to jail for match-fixing or cheating in a videogame. It’s obviously wrong, but it’s insane to consider it a crime, not to mention a crime worthy of jail-time.
The cycling one was just stupid. They are holding an online cycling race where you can unlock a bike/s which are better than your starting bike. So all he did was to use bots to get it unlocked, but didn't cheat during the races. It should also be mentioned that all the other racers/players were also using that bike. In all honesty, then it was a flaw in the game design to implement bikes that way.
Agreed with this. Like he still probably shouldn't do it, but to me that is far more a failure of the tournament designers to not make all bikes available to all competitors by default. Could you imagine a League of Legends game where they didn't provide accounts with all champs unlocked to the pros playing?
It was still stupid to cheat considering you unlock the bike via training it’s only 50km of climbing to unlock, the difference in speed is next to negligible since you have to factor in average power per hour, weight of rider, specialization of rider, and the course. At the time the bike was one of the best but you could still beat someone with a different bike. The calculation for speed is based off of 100kg at 400w over 1hour at 90rpm if I’m recalling correctly but since all riders are different it’s next to impossible to calculate the power saving and speed gains of using that bike or a different one
@@5n0w3playsgames6 I agree it was stupid of him to not just unlock it himself. However, I still don't think he belongs on this list, as he didn't cheat in the race and it isn't like he unlocked some crazy bike no other rider was using, he simply used the same bike as everybody else. Hardware mods are interesting, since they arent actually banned most of the time and the entire problem is usually solved on a person by person basis. For example, is it cheating to specifically buy a mouse that weighs less for faster movement? No, basically never. Is it cheating to buy a mouse with short click switches to let you fire faster? Again usually no. What about a button that changes your DPI between 2 pre set options? Usually no. But every one of these can easily be challenged if its done by the player, or even if there is an assumption of some issue. I've seen people banned for using macros when in reality they just got good enough to be that consistent and fast with inputs, and every hardware mod I've seen basically ends up with "its banned if you do better then your opponent, and that opponent can somehow convince the judge, regardless of the actual rules". Even short switch keyboards, something extremely common even in entry keyboards nowadays, can be seen as cheating if you do too well with it. So if someone wants to tape sandpaper to their mouse so they can build faster (yes, thats a real hardware mod) then why is that any different then many of these entirely legal options that arent even questioned anymore?

Question: 1) Is Olaf Boost cheating? 2) Many CSGO players just a "jump bind"/"jump macro". Is that different than executing a macro from the mouse? ^ Not trying to stir up controversy, but genuinely not sure.
Imo Olaf Boost is just exploiting maps that other teams haven’t been able to do it. But using it in a competitive game seems a little too over especially when you consider fnatic was down 3-13 and came back to the game using map bugs. I personally uses jump bind to my mouse too and I find it very useful to my movement. Every player has only a keyboard and a mouse. So as long as you don’t suddenly pull up a guitar or piano to keybind in game I don’t find anything wrong there. Just my opinion.
Olaf Boost was cheating since pixel walking was specifically banned in that tournament and they knew that going into it. That's what the big outrage was about.
I use a jump-bind too. its a way to get consistent grenades, which is now a huge part of playing CS. and since its not used in any direct firefight, like aimhack, i dont see it being damaging to gameplay. Its not like you run a script, where you run in to site, prefiring every angle.
Technically yes, but in this video they were talking about Pro play On casual level tho, smurfing is the most stupid thing ever to exist, it basically ruins the fun for everyone, sometimes even for the team that wins because of the smurf.
it is akin to that Dota 2 cheat where a player is swapped out for someone else. But it is actually quite hard to detect that within just 2-3 games or less. As it usually only occurs in regular ranked lobbies and not major tournament events or ones being covered live with video feed on the players.

Great that Rainbow got only one clip and it was just wallhacking :^)
I would say smurfing is also cheating and gets my blood boiling
I swear its gonna be the same few clips recycled into a video with slightly different title.
*It is.*
9:59 God damn is that voice annoying, no surprise it's a Fortnight player.

So we are not gonna talk about how AI was used to cheat in Rocket League?
Who and when?
@@IsaacClarkeDS some people were able to use nexto, an AI developed to play at a high level, to play ranked matches about last month.
Ok trigger stops and macros are not the same thing. The controller equivalent would be strickpack and Cronus zen mods.

Is smurfing not considered cheating?
Technically yes, but in this video they were talking about Pro play
On casual level tho, smurfing is the most stupid thing ever to exist, it basically ruins the fun for everyone, sometimes even for the team that wins because of the smurf.
it is akin to that Dota 2 cheat where a player is swapped out for someone else. But it is actually quite hard to detect that within just 2-3 games or less. As it usually only occurs in regular ranked lobbies and not major tournament events or ones being covered live with video feed on the players.
322 will never haha that shit unbelievable tbh just for that price they sacrifice there whole career haha
I comment to help statistics
