Listen to this for long enough, and you can handle any future screaming baby with zero problem. It's like getting desensitized to an exploding volcano.
LYRICS: In the constellation... There is no courage Only despair! Only despair! And so the deaths of hopeless Thousands were of no concern The world has lost all meaning A thousand calls of hate Uranus and Pluto stood in conjunction In the sign of a black... widow!
I think theres' something running down my neck from ear...oh yeah, my mushed brain. Listening to this again I am reminded why I've been in love with this group for more than half a decade! They simply blow away my mind!!!
The despair, the Brutality, The Messiness, The Beauty...Its unbearable. underrated and for some reason alot of people hate them. magnificent i cant wait until they come to the US
1:26 soars up himself, yells, bleeds, chokes on blood 1:55 priest sings 2:28 priest makes him a bloody eagle 2:57 priest sings again 4:15 ^ 4:40 dies all this is my imagination, I thought they would record a clip. Had to write the script myself :)
one of this band's pecularities is their ability to combine clean vocals and death growls of doom, suspicious screaming...the works. granted this isn't for everyone but for me at least it truly lends power and depth, not to mention that the sheer talent in the vocals, as metal tends to damage the vocal cords, therefore the singing. Anaal Nathrakh has always been rather experimental, constantly evolving, their albums reflect that.
@miacrow2 I think it's along the lines of: AH-NAHL NAH-THRAK Listen to their very first song (incidentally called Anaal Nathrakh), there's a bit of audio at the start from the film 'Excalibur' which literally says the words.
alright I guess this album is next on my list. I have already bought vanitas, the whole of the law, and desideratum. after hearing this, I guess In the constellation of the black widow should be my #4 cd by the anaals.
@yokcocuk Gustave Dore, he was victorian engraver and sculptor, sorry if you knew this already. If you didn't, check him out. Front cover of Emperor's 'Wrath of the Tyrant' was his.
There is no courage The rage is back [Bridge] THE RAGE IS BACK!!! and so the deaths of hopeless thousands were of no concern the world has lost all meaning a thousand call of hate Uranus and Ploto stood in conjunction in the sign of the black window
and so the deaths of hopeless thousands were of no concern the world has lost all meaning a thousand call of hate Uranus and Ploto stood in conjunction in the sign of the black window
"In The Constellation -AAAAAAAAAH!"
Love that bit
i cannot describe how awesome this band is.
Joyous pregnancy test ad before this song. Gold.
+Yasmine Amber lol!
The kid would be bungee jumping.
Listen to this for long enough, and you can handle any future screaming baby with zero problem. It's like getting desensitized to an exploding volcano.
@@mikeycourington2011 no, there is no sound more enraging than a crying baby. I absolutely can't stand that
LYRICS:
In the constellation...
There is no courage

Only despair!

Thousands were of no concern
The world has lost all meaning
A thousand calls of hate
Uranus and Pluto stood in conjunction
In the sign of a black... widow!

Some webpages indicate "the rage is back" instead of "only despair".
If you watch some live clips of them on UA-cam it's quite clear that he says "Only despair".
Well, "the rage is back" has this more thrashy, more punk-like approach, maybe that is why it suits me more.
You forgot "AAAAAAAAArhgeuaAAAh, AEUuuuAAAAAAAAAAAAh, AAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAh" before "there is no courage"
swap "part" for "power" and "just" for "but", and I think we got this mystery solved Scoobs.
That scream at 01:16 is undescribable. So simple, yet so amazing, chills everytime.
+Christian fucking love it
OOOOOOONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this song is not only extremely brutal it is also inexplicable beautiful
inexplicably
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I LISTENED TO THIS SONG. I AM NOW BEING TAKEN TO THE INSANE ASYLUM.... AWESOMELY BRUTAL.
I think theres' something running down my neck from ear...oh yeah, my mushed brain.
Listening to this again I am reminded why I've been in love with this group for more than half a decade! They simply blow away my mind!!!
met the vocalist at the gig in the asylum in birmingham and he was a nice bloke.
THAT.

OPENING.
HOLY SHIT.
This music makes me wanna help old people cross the street
OK, this is the first I've ever heard of Anaal Nathrakh's music...... But this was really, REALLY good
The despair, the Brutality, The Messiness, The Beauty...Its unbearable. underrated and for some reason alot of people hate them. magnificent i cant wait until they come to the US
This is officially my favorite metal song, alongside Laborem Morte Liberat Te. Thank you very much, Anaal Nathrakh. :)
yes, the whole album (and everything else Anaal Nathrakh has done, for that matter) is pure ferocious extreme metal
This is without any doubt the most head-splitting and ear-shattering song i have ever heard.
And it´s epic.
The clean singing in this song is fantastic! This band is awesome!
I doubt they had you or your sensible ears in mind when creating this masterpiece.
that is STILL the most extreme song i have ever heard. what a band!
My jaw literally dropped and my head was blown back in astonishment of this song!
Absolutely love discovering new bands, thank you youtube
This is like sticking your head inside a working jet engine!!! Man this is awesome \m/
1:26 soars up himself, yells, bleeds, chokes on blood
1:55 priest sings
2:28 priest makes him a bloody eagle
2:57 priest sings again
4:15 ^
4:40 dies

Amazing band.
Anaal Nathrakh are pushing the boundaries of ye extreme metal, very heavy shit, love it to death
The hardest metal known to the man.
how many of you people prefer the production in this album rather than the new one?imo it fits them perfectly :)
thumbs up if youre a christian and love Anaal Nathrakh 8)
This is my brain.
What were you expecting a time?
one of this band's pecularities is their ability to combine clean vocals and death growls of doom, suspicious screaming...the works. granted this isn't for everyone but for me at least it truly lends power and depth, not to mention that the sheer talent in the vocals, as metal tends to damage the vocal cords, therefore the singing.
Anaal Nathrakh has always been rather experimental, constantly evolving, their albums reflect that.
Also this band is a real treat, incredible music
Who still shits themselves at the 1:09 mark? Haha, one of the best extreme metal bands ever, love all their stuff
First time listening to this band - this is fucking awesome.
@miacrow2
I think it's along the lines of:
AH-NAHL NAH-THRAK
Listen to their very first song (incidentally called Anaal Nathrakh), there's a bit of audio at the start from the film 'Excalibur' which literally says the words.
Welcome to the world of extreme metal, what you are experiencing happened to all of us
I was listening to Seasick Steve's brilliant new album just before this.
The Sample at the beginning of the song "Anaal Nathrakh", from the movie they got the name from, pronounces it "An- AAL Nath-RACK".
alright I guess this album is next on my list. I have already bought vanitas, the whole of the law, and desideratum. after hearing this, I guess In the constellation of the black widow should be my #4 cd by the anaals.
I've listened to extreme metal of every stripe for half my life, and when 1:09 hits, even I'm like "Guys... Jesus Christ, calm down!"
Getting old sucks.
This band does have the 'Dax effect' where the clean vocal is more haunting than the scream; though one isn't much without the other.
0:20 is probably the single most intense beginning to a song I've ever heard. This song gives me goosebumps every time, it's just plain fucking evil.
And 3 years later still sooo gooood
how about... now. :o
♾️
"Uranus and Pluto stood in conjunction in the sign of the black widow" Powerful shit
Perfect ending \m/
Metal at its best.
The sound of a demon legion unleashed upon a psych ward.
Best best best superb!
yeah man! totally!
Its a fucking blast in our hearts !!!
Gives you the urge to scream
My Ear hurts.
4:33 - easily the coolest ending to a song ever.
This song makes me want to cuddle with soft fluffy things.
It's black metal with grindcore influences.
best album
this was my original reaction too. but it's rather enjoyable after a while.
@yokcocuk
Gustave Dore, he was victorian engraver and sculptor, sorry if you knew this already. If you didn't, check him out. Front cover of Emperor's 'Wrath of the Tyrant' was his.

There is no courage
The rage is back
[Bridge]
THE RAGE IS BACK!!!
and so the deaths of hopeless
thousands were of no concern
the world has lost all meaning
a thousand call of hate
Uranus and Ploto stood in conjunction in the sign of the black window
When Anaal Nathrakh comes on, you stop what the fuck you're doing, because shit is about to get serious...
Who, me? I saw these guys live in november and got my copy of Vanitas signed by Mick Kenney... I was talking about noise music.
Epic.
Anaal Nathrakh means Serpent's Breath as i recall
I can't say I ever expected "noise band" and "great" to be in the same sentence...
I call it Blackened Grindcore
@flockstalker i think it's "there's no curse, only despair. "
@sacramentalherb Absolutely! This production helps you hear every black, horrible sound they put in there
more of fire than blood is great 2 !
UUUAAAAHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHH AAAEAAAA RAAAAAAA >:O such awsome screams
U_U perfect
It actually has words
Singer sounds like a cat being killed by a lawnmower at one point, this is why I find this awesome.
1:09 Chaos starts
also check out december wolves. they sort of had that anaal nathrakh sound
5 people shit out there spleen from listening to this song
Emperor/Ihshan fan much? I can't be the only one who hears the similarities in the clean vocals.
there is no courage, only desPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIR
PURE FUCKING EXTREME METAL !
@BlackMetalHeart85 certainly
New fucking record coming 15.10. 12 ! ! Vanitas will melt my fucking face off
@Derangedxzombie
I heard:
There is no courage - only despair!
That fucking 'Death' bloke on the cover art will invade my fucking dreams now. Not Nightmares. Screaming "WIDOW"!
how the hell do you pronounce that name properly? and after listening to this album it just kinda seems like other bands arent trying hard enough.
and so the deaths of hopeless
thousands were of no concern
the world has lost all meaning
a thousand call of hate
Uranus and Ploto stood in conjunction in the sign of the black window
a-nale nay-th-rack :)
Twiki from Buck Rogers on guest vocals at 3.36

@TheHideousRevelation good man. go listen to between shit and piss we are born, its off Eschaton. its my fav song from them
Is Bruce Dickinson doing the chorus?
Fuck No
those high notes... I can't unhear this now.
No. They hired Steve Dickindaughter.
@malevolentjim92
But that's what makes them so fucking awesome.
Since when has Swans been noise? Merzbow is probably the platonic ideal of noise.
lol do you ever wander why they dont put there lirics on the internet :S
Blacking Symphonic Deathgrind.
Heja, heja!
