Played by: Alberto Cuéllar
Recorded with one mic: Oktava
Beautiful playing.
Thanks 🙏
I enjoyed listening to you, always interesting to hear how folks play the triplets. I find maple guitars a bit shallow in depth of sound (compared to the rosewoods) and the smaller body a bit more awkward to hold. No matter, that's just my taste, some lucky person is going to own a piece of art!
Thanks! Glad you like it Selftaughtgirl ! What's your name? It seems it's going to China this one. To Beijing. Lucky guy, yes. Maple is very clear sound. Seems simple character but I'm fact when you go into it is so interesting with plenty of personality. A humble simple person who reaches that state after complex life 😁. and you little by little discover it.
What a great sound this guitar has❤
Agree!!
Absolutely amazing sound! Such a difference to double top guitars. Can I ask if it is tuned to 440hz?
Thanks!. Yes, very different. It was in 440hz.
Great clarity and separation. Very even volume between strings. Exquisite detail and finish. I think that is bit of a ‘good un’.
what is the meaning of "good un"? :)
Alberto, is it a specific Torres that this replica is based on? Like FE 17 (FE = First Epoch, SE = Second Epoch) I don't think it is a copy of "La Leona" (FE 4). Sweet sound!
Hello. You can see a video of Marco Gilioli explains about this guitar here also in our channel. It is an exact copy of one made in 1867 by Torres (Second Epoch). Large body as you can see ua-cam.com/video/WjpUU5frfz0/v-deo.html&ab_channel=MaderaGuitarras
@@maderaguitarras Great! I am now looking at that video.
If the guitar is a replica of one made in 1867 it would be FE (First Epoch)?
Antonio Torres moved to Almeria in 1870, and started making guitars again around 1875 (= SE).
FranciscoTarrega had a guitar from that period - SE 49 (built in 1883).
You are absolutely right Ole. Sorry, my mistake. Yes First Epoch. Thanks for your information.
96% perfect..takes you to the Zone. Will only open up sweeter.
what doest it mean "take you to the zone"? :)
@@maderaguitarras depth of your own being.. the nearest to perfection 💋 on the material plane.. Cape Kenavaral
hahaha! now I understand ...
