Audience people ruining it for everyone!
Well, and some band members… ☹️
@@JDoe001People are so entitled
@@8L00D_M00N you said it, 8LOOD MOON! I couldn’t agree more!
I appreciate the timestamps, especially since there’s a video from ≈10 months ago that literally reuses the EXACT same clips + voiceovers.
@@BadShotDR Kind of expected, coming from these channels 🫠
The idiots who throw objects on stage... Are unimaginable ! How can anyone find it funny to try to hurt someone or ruin an ENTIRE audience's concert ?
Alcohol.

@@BrianRoberson-k7g that just a lame excuse alcohol i drank alcohol and had me always under control, when i wanted to do something i new that i wanted to do that. People that do dumb shit when they are drunk they should be full responsible for there actions and even be punished harder.
Hearing Paul Stanley call a stupid fan a schmuck made my day!
I didn’t hear him say schmuck
@@kayzgamezhe said it like 3 times
@@wynnie_margeaux oh. I probably didn’t hear him because I was tired lol
@ that’s alright lol that happens to me sometimes too
He looked effeminant lol
Kurt coming to that womans defense just makes me love him even more
"Rob halford punting the phone into outer space". You had me dying laughing on that one.
The laser pointer at the KISS concert never fails to make me laugh
In the 80's I was watching RUSH in Tucson, someone threw a lighter at Geddy Lee and hit him in the mouth . He stopped the show and promised never to come back to Tucson, guess what they never have !
It's surprising because Rush don't attract the same kind of crowd that these other group that in the video.
@SurnaturalM unfortunately there's always that one person that has to ruin it for everyone else !
Some people suck. Ruin it for others.
That's one hell of an aim
Bands should never play in Tucson in general
I just don’t understand why people spend all this money to go to a concert either to throw water bottles or beer cans, and try to ruin the show for everybody. If you’re doing that then that shows me you’re not a real fan if you don’t like any of the bands then don’t go see them waste all your money to jump on stage. Try to hurt some of the musicians. It’s just stupid.
I mean really.
Alcohol.
Some people can't stand NOT being the center of attention. They're insecure, and a little stupid. They want the attention the performers are receiving, but they don't have the talent, they know it, and they can't contain their insecurities. Add alcohol, the excitement of the crowd, and the music... you get instant moronic a$$h0le. The other shame in it is; it makes respectful fans reluctant to go to shows out of fear of running into one of these clowns. So really everyone suffers because of 1 or 2 dumba$$es/@ssh0les.
I guess it would help if people expect to run into someone like that at shows, have a nonviolent, effective game plan to shut it down early before it's everyone's problem. Better security, not over serving alcohol to a potentially problematic individual, and a community mindset from concert goers helps eliminate a good chunk of the troubled intellectually challenged, hormonally raging people with sh¡t for brains. ... that suck at being decent human beings.
I don’t get it why would audiences ruin everything
Because they're Drunktards
I remember a nirvana concert when someone threw a scarf at Kurt and he just kept it for himself. Honest what I would do man, it's a free scarf!😂
I’ve read that Kurt lived a Poor life before fame, sometimes living under a freezing freeway overpass. So Kurt didn’t care much for valuable possessions. He would have thought that scarf was very generous of the fan.
Can you remember which one that was? Or at least what year this happened?
Honestly, they might get all the hate they want for flipping fans off and ending their concert, but if I got rocks thrown at me at my own show, I would do the exact same. I don't blame them
They're famous. Superhuman. Not supposed to react emotionally to drunken people who think they're superhuman.
The level of disrespect shown at the Ozzfest towards Bruce Dickinson was completely over the top ! Sharon should have spoken to Bruce in private xx
Sharon should never speak at all.
Sharon should have her mouth sewn shut
Kurt Cobain is a fucking LEGEND for standing up for that woman.

0:11 didnt they throw the shoe in response to metallica maling fun of kurt cobains death and layne stayleys addiction issues??
Yes. They never mentioned that part in this video but that footage you saw, it was a show in Seattle. Alice in Chains were supposed to play some shows with Metallica but Lane was battling his heroin addiction. Before the fans started throwing stuff, they started playing man in a box with James mimicking Lane shooting heroin. Needless to say, the Seattle fans didn't take too kindly to it.
Yea. Fu...n idiots. especially te little selfabsorbed Lars U.

Yes. I'm a massive Metallica fan, but that is one of the things James has done that I can't defend. Absolutely awful.
@@metalpunk7945 It's especially ironic considering how massive of an alcoholic James was. I'm gonna guess that he was probably just projecting his own insecurities, but that doesn't change the fact that it was an absolutely horrendous thing to do...
Man Jared Leto is such a knob
Agreed
Obviously. 😂 One acceptable song (which I'd never spend money on to listen) and some very poor acting performances, but he thinks he's the greatest.
Yeah
He really is a bellend!!
Ikr how he ever became a actor is baffling his joker role still leaves a bad taste in the mouth
NOFX, Toronto, 1998. Someone kept on spitting on Fat Mike from the front row while he was trying to play Don't Call Me White, He stopped the show and yelled 'Don't you f*****g spit on me, I mean it!!', almost short of jumping into the crowd and getting into the fight. Thankfully they continued and put on a great show.
Late 80s, Iron Maiden.
Someone lit and threw a firecracker. Then a firecracker pack.
Pop. Pop. Pop. Pop. Pop. Pop.
BD stops the song, has the lights turned on and tells the thrower that IM is the show and if he did it again, they would cancel the rest of the show with no refunds.
No further issues. Great show.
Gene Simmons smells the toilet paper after each wipe
I thought he licked it
BLUE COMMENT ON UA-cam?!
Kiss branded toilet paper at that.
I get that it's a joke but why do I hear gene going "Hmm... interesting..." With every sniff
How else would you tell if you're done??!
5 days later: and here we have Maynard James Keenan who has been pinning this fan 5 days straight
Getting mad at stage rushers, crowd bullies, laser pointer dorks, and idiots throwing stuff on stage is understandable. But to get mad at someone for texting or for sitting down is stupid.
Why? You can't put your phone away for one single hour?
@ Spoken like someone with no friends, or anyone in their life who cares about them. Sure, it may be one thing to constantly text throughout the concert. But it’s another thing to make just one text to say goodnight to a loved one, or to let a friend know you made it to the concert or any other quick, one time reply.
@@princessmarlena1359 What did people do before cellphones? Do you know what they did? They actually watched the show, lived in the moment and participated.
@@molasorrosalom4846It's none of your business if they are texting. It doesn't bother anyone except idiots.
Then stay home if that's what you're gonna do. You remind me of those people who suffer withdrawal without their phone......
Why would you spend any amount of money to throw rocks
Jared Leto is such a diva 🙄
Then maybe you should go to a concert with someone you truly appreciate like Justin Bieber 😍
2:52 Awesome story telling from Bruce Dickinson, his ton of voice fits perfectly with the amazing guitare riffs, you can truly feel the epicness of what he is saying.
I think there was a Police show at a baseball stadium in Omaha in 1982 that ended early when some jerk in the crowd hurled a beer bottle that missed Stewart Copeland by inches. Sting saw that, and pulled the plug.
i don’t understand why you would pay so much money for concert tickets just to throw stuff at the person you’re there to see
If they only had a 🧠
Well, to quote Einstein, only two things are endless: the universe and the human stupidity, and I am not sure about the universe
Iconic moment in rock, Hetfield being so human.
7:11 nice reference lol
Screw that Mars guy getting pee-oed just because someone was sitting. As someone who had a hip replacement & back surgeries, there are some who have a hard time standing for any amount of time. Should just be glad they were there to watch their little crappy show.
And age has nothing to do with it, after high-school I knew a guy that was good enough to play for any pro ice hockey team but he destroyed his hips and needed a replacement by his early 20s, not everyone that sets is being disrespectful
@mountainexploration2435 I'm in my 20s with GENETIC hip issues and lower back issues. If I'm sitting its because I'm fucking sore. Like id proceeded to say: I have medical issues big man. Kindly f off or give me a refund of your so damn triggered.
right? what if they were disabled
@plasticred i have a bad hip. I can't stand too long, making my feet ache. I'd be walking out. I can't stand rude people.
I had an issue where I had to leave metal shows early because I couldn't stand for long periods. My concert going days were from 2013 - 19 and I only just last year was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis
Maynard might be the coolest frontman ever. I'm not a HUGE fan of TOOL. But the way he choked out that guy while continuing the show, and finishing the song is legendary. A true professional, and gentleman. 🤘
If you actually look at the entire concert for the Green Day I heart radio, the crowd was absolutely horrible. He had a reason to flip out, if I’m being honest with you. Edit: ladies, ladies, keep your opinions to yourself. This comment is for Green Day fans, and if you aren’t one then you’re very welcome to stay, but if you’re gonna insult real music then leave
Nope. It was their shitty music that pissed everyone off. :)

disturbed front man david had no reason to pick on someone at the concert using their phone to text the whole time they are there, its not his business and it didnt "disturb anyone , just his ego.
I can understand how frustrating it is for people to be throwing things at the band,. It also makes me never want to attend another rock concert again.
There's just too many Disturbed people.
Been to lots of concerts never had anything like this happen. It's rare.
@221b-l3t
Me either.
I've been to tons of shows and never seen that.
This was after James and Lars made fun of Kurt Cobains Death and Lane Stanley
Nickelback: Do we have any fans in Portugal!?
Portugal:
Mustaine played in my city once on metal fest, WASP was set to play, and Mustaine wanted to go on stage before them, and crowd didn't liked it, we all yelled we want WASP!, He said were better! Immediatelly bottles started pelting the stage and Mustaine got an rock straight to the chest and they walked off stage...and we got WASP on stage XD
Sounds like DAVE Mustaine..lol
You sound stupid- WASP...🤮🤧😂 So you condone trowin bottles at people? Te so called vocalist in WASP always looked like an old woman. Trans maybe?
Well Megadeth is way better than wasp but Dave's a prick lol
15:42 and 16:17 I have to say both singers are clearly in the wrong here. So what if they're on their phone the whole time? It's their phone and they paid for the concert, let them spend that time however they want. Also saying that's it's rude is dumb. There's thousands of ppl paying full attention to you, and you're complaining about one person
Just put the phone away, it's disrespectful.
finally, a new rock video!❤
I've seen most of the videos already, but I appreciate the collab. Thumbs up, homey, and a sub 👍
The first clip, don't stick up for Metallica. They brought that on themselves. Alice in Chains were supposed to play some shows with them but Lane Staley was really bad in his heroin addiction. Before you saw the fans throwing stuff at James, they started playing man in a box with James mimicking Lane shooting heroin. Sooo that's why I didn't feel bad for James during that incident. Plus they were playing in Seattle so extra insult.
it was during metallica's edgy and dark era. James and Lars were massive dickheads at that time.
was about to comment this!!!!
I clicked just cuz I was a bit curious. This shit is like dope. CANT GET ENOUGH! can't believe a whole hr has passed.
Great video!
David Lee Roth was doing high-flying Karate kicks, and chugging from a bottle of Jack Daniels, then spitting it on us in the front of the audience one time at a Van Halen concert back in 1982!
...
Souixsie & the Banchees concert at the Aragon Brawlroom, back in 1986, she ran over to me & my buddy, after we pushed to the front
Dave Mustaine is the best at dealing with dumbass fans at concerts lmao
41:15 there is one even better from corey's spoken tours and its even around on youtube.
During the q/a of one of his shows, he was doing that bit and there was this guy going "COREYYY, COREEYYYYY, COREEEEYYY".
Taylor gets fed up with the guy tells him to stfu and then goes and asks him "Fine, what's your name?" dude responds "Clayton" then corey lets him ask his question and while he is asking Corey goes "CLAAAAYTOOOON, CLAYTOOOOOOON CLAAAAAYYYYTOOOON, YOU SEE? YOU SEE HOW ANNOYING IT IS?"
one of my favorite moments where the players flip off the crowd is in the 1985 cliff em' all concert, where someone threw something at the stage and missed, then james flipped him off all while playing. it's pure gold
For whom the bells tolls live with Cliff Burton
I took two seconds to check on my friend texting me at a show. I thought they might've had depressional thoughts. The frontman called me out for being on my phone. Please take it into consideration people have emergencies.
A frontman who does this cares more about attention than their music. People paid a ticket. End of story. I dont get the attitude. My first thought would be "oh sick, they're posting on social media about how much fun they're having! More pubclicity for me!"
@@GTCrunch exactly this, the more seriously a band takes themselves the more cringe they become.
Or maybe you people can put your phone away for an hr, and learn to live in the moment?
@@molasorrosalom4846You seem to have trouble at understanding it's not your problem nor anyone if someone is using their phone
At a Led Zeppelin concert in 1977 some dude tried to climb up onstage and grab Jimmy Page. He was clamoring and made it up to knee level when Jimmy punted him offstage. Didn’t miss a lick.
that was amazing thing to witness
*bop*
„See ya“ is so funny though
3:56 i love Sebastian bach😂 4:08 oh😭
I don't get it, getting mad at one person for being on their phone. It seems egotistical af when you have hundreds maybe even thousands of other fans cheering on you. 16:33 being a good example where you have no idea what they're doing, it could be serious and you're calling people out in front of thousands because of your inflated ego. They already payed you their money if they don't actually watch the show that's their issue, just keep playing for the other thousands still watching and listening to you
Why not simply put your phone away for an hr?
Oh wait, you're that person that's probably on their phone at a concert...... Like a crack addict.
@molasorrosalom4846 for one concerts aren't my thing, second you're just throwing assumptions around just like the artists in the clips because you think you're a smart-ass. You clearly didn't read my comment, what if someone has something important going on somewhere and they're trying to keep in the loop of something? What does it matter to anyone else? No I don't chronically stare at my phone just because I can understand when someone need to use it despite wherever they're at.
@molasorrosalom4846 because not everyone lives in the fantasy world you live in where everything you assume is true in your wicked out mind. Real life happens even when you're trying to enjoy a concert and whatever someone is doing is no one else's business.
That man who got the crowd to support his band mate going to rehab is such a good friend.
@36:00 James taking that moment on a monumentally huge platform. To put his heart on his sleeve and share what he did is a massive step forward in letting men know they NEED to talk.
James is an incredible person, still sounds as good at singing 40 years later, and still goes on stage after those experiences, he is great!
02:42 makes me think of SNL Cowbell sketch.
Walken: "I'm Bruce Dickinson. Yes. THE Bruce Dickinson"
49:13 I was at this show. I remember it Ike him saying “Won’t you put Schwartz out!”(We used to call a laser pointer a Schwartz)
The first one?! Why didn’t you mention that he was making fun of Kurt cobains drug addiction and that’s why people were throwing stuff at him? He deserved it!
Supprised AC/DC isn't on here, Angus tweaks a fans nose after he got beer thrown all over him.
Some of these entertainers need to realize that even though a fan might be texting on a phone WHO CARES? Meanwhile the other fans are quite disappointed in you throwing a temper tantrum over one person’s stupidity. The majority of other fans are not on their cell phones but because, you cannot ignore that one person texting on their phone you stop the show that others have paid good money to see you perform. What if that one fan who is texting on their phone is trying to find out the condition of a family member who was in a car accident the day before this concert?
Artists are people too. If fans stick up for the artists. Fans who attack musicians are the most immature and need to be banned from all concerts for life
17:28 "she took it the wrong way" no, you scolded her in front of the crowd. There's nothing about that that indicates it was just in good fun. Just admit you were wrong and say sorry, jesus christ.
FR. never knew he was such a douche
Well she should’ve shouted about texting her daughter, because there‘s hail storm going on!
But ooohh nooo, she had to flip him off!!
How else he would’ve have known that sh!t?
Tell me that, like so what? She got booed, not a big deal!
Like for me, it would’ve looked like she‘s just texting some of her friends and doesn’t pay any attention!
Okay, in my day we stuck to bras and panties, and even that was rude. Shoes, rocks and bottles? No way; shut it don until the offender is located and removed. FIRST time. If the concert is bad, LEAVE. Don't buy any more of their records. It's still kind of a voting thing. thumbs down.
Oh you miss the 1977 Montréal Pink Floyd concert! Roger waters spits on a fan for some fireworks and a loud crowd😂
I thought roger waters only attacked Jews.

Everything after “And Justice For All” turned them into Pop Rock Stars 🤣good job Bob Rock!!! ✌️
Not really but ok 💀
The Metallica, Load, Reload and St. Anger have plenty of content and depth to them in terms of maturing and being a human being. You sound pretty immature or just lack intellect in music or general to not appreciate the slower paced albums
Not sure if it made the video but a guy i know was accused of throwing a shoe at stone temple pilots. They called him up on stage. Guess he was unsuspecting and went up and they beat the shit outta him. Bass player dropped his bass into his head. Probably woulda made sense to check if he was missing a shoe first lol he wasnt. He got paid
Rush, Hemispheres 79 Greensboro. Geddy had to stop Alex and Neil and say: Please stop throwing bottles, it's very stupid.
The first one was deserved they were making fun of Layne Staleys drug problem
Chad could have destroyed if came back on stage and was like ….. sorry ,but that was seriously the 5TH TIME I SAID “NO EFFING SALMON!”😂
lol 0:39 Boink ouch that must have hurt hope the singer is okay
ruining a show they PAID to be at.
These people are not smart.
I agree with the bands on MOST of these. However, if a fan paid money to get in and then decides to text all night, how is that hurting anything? You still got their ticket money and they aren't actually disrupting the show. Mind your business and put on a show.
Honestly as long as they're recording it's fine in my eyes. Texting during a show is like if someone texted while you were talking to them. Just plain rude.
It’s shitty to buy a ticket an actual fan would want, that’s likely why they’re so upset
@@laylamackey4823 That's flawed reasoning. There were plenty of tickets that "actual fans" could have bought. That person paid their money for the ticket, they can use it however they wish. What you're saying is akin to complaining about an old man buying a Hellcat Challenger, then only doing the speed limit with it, when an "actual fan could have bought it." The ticket was sold, and the band got paid for that ticket. No other exchange is required.
To me, it shows the frontman cares more about attention than their own music. You made your money, who cares. Whether its 5 people or 500 you put on a facking show. Thats the motto I always heard.
@@RavenLordOfficials It's rude to do both imo, but it really doesn't matter. They paid for the ticket and aren't disturbing anyone.

Paul Stanley was a routine rant, he started doing it at multiple shows.
Chad Kroueger hit me with a can of beer in 2012.

I love how Bruce Dickinson got angry at that person bullying a girly girl
Came to listen to a good music? STAY!
Came to insult and disrespect the music legend? GTFO!!!!!
Great job with this video. Must have taken you a while to compile all these clips and research each one.
Why buy tickets to a concert just to throw shit? Complete knobs!
Sometimes when the artist says fuck you and walks off stage they're just giving in to the one person in the crowd who threw something while everyone else is supporting the artist. That is especially unfortunate
Courtney Love Has not made a rock album in 12 years Foo Fighters are still touring
she is useless scum
I don't remember who was singing, was 20 years ago, but I had someone yell at me for not standing up in there concert. Tried heckling me. Got off the stage and walked over...... Then realized I was in a wheelchair and couldn't stand up if I wanted to. Man did he feel like shit! He apologized fast! At the end of the show one of his reps came up to me and brought me a couple of CDs, A tshirt, and a signed guitar pick from the vendors booth outside that I hadn't been able to afford to hit. The singer had signed everything......
I Love Dave Mustaine!!! 😂💙💙

The lead singer of hatebreed once knocked a drunk girl in a club unconscious. She was sitting on a stool and not in his face but he punched her to the ground. I was once friends with a venue owner who saw it just feet away.
cautiously eyeing my hatebreed hoodie i got at a show years ago…
What about when Keith Moon fella sleep in the middle of a song , and an audience member came on stage and played the drums.in his place. A rare commendable audience interaction .
18:18 talk about a mic drop lmao
I bet the mic was slapped right through the floor
That one guy who called the Foo Fighters gay looked like he eats hotdogs the long way for a hit
Didnt james get stuff thrown at him cause he mocked Layne Staley?
Yeah, AIC cancelled some shows with metallica, since Layne was having drug troubles so they got mad. They started making gestures of shooting up heroin in their arms (mocking layne) so people got rowdy and started throwing stuff. As a HUGE Metallica fan, people getting mad was justifiable.
So they should have left instead of throwing shit on stage, simple as that!
@@IrishMerauderwhy are metallica such pricks?
@@Penetat aren't anymore, but they were really bad in the 90's. my guess is bottled up mental problems that they coped by mocking and being assholes to others. and also let me be clear, it's James and Lars running the circus. the rest have always been nice people. Cliff was very kind, so was Jason, so is Robert and so is Kirk.
Assault, vandalism, and disruptive conduct. You can get away with it all if you're in a band.
