The last seconds, with that *SNAP* Its like he was walking of set and flipping the switch to turn the lights out, but in a dramatic and satisfying end
The snap is what did it for me. Its so hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful villain. Truely an amazingly well written character to the point of wishing he was real. Rest well Hades, youve earned it.
Oh god.. only now I see the parallels between Emet-Selch and Ardbert.. Ardbert was lost and drifted for more than 100 years... and he was already turning into a husk, a wandering shadow.. and Emet.. he has been wandering more than 100000 years.. I can't even imagine that torture. To have all the memories, yearning for my friends.. being immortal and living for the duty of bringing them back..
This story really might be the best I ever experienced. Never did I have so much sympathy with the journey of a man both hero and villain.. not even Breaking Bad comes close to this.
I…I have no words for this. I tried not cry trough out the entire video. But this snap…all I want to say is…Thank you. For this tribute in perfection. ❤️
holy hell... I held it together.. then the snap.. I GASPED and broke down into tears... It was a good story and they all deserve their rest... i cant wait for the future of this game with or without them

the greatest Anti Hero, once best friend.. the thought of being forgotten by your companion and wandering alone for thousands or maybe hundreds of thousands of years..
this is just beautiful, I never felt such an overflowing sympathy for an Antagonist/old friend in any game/story until I finishes EW.
I have not even played Final Fantasy XIV but I am so intrigued by this story.

Emet Selch was one of my favorite characters. I actually understood what he wanted. But his methods are questionable as for all "villains." Honestly I never really saw him as a villain but someone that had his goals and desires just like any of man or woman.
Sorry for rambling. But this was a good tribute to Emet.
