- The time has come to finally release the pygmy marmosets from their holding area and into their huge new forest enclosure.
Our 3 boys are settling in very well here at the Zoo and have been cautiously exploring their new space.
The Rainforest Lookout is now OPEN to the public and the pygmy marmosets and Azara's agouti are now on display.

The common marmosets moved to Hobbledown last year when we knocked down the Hothouse. They wouldn’t have been suitable in a mixed exhibit and Hobbledown were very excited to take them on!
Watching this a little sped up, and they really look almost like squirrels or lizards even
That is recorded in real-time, they are so fast! I want to try film them in slow motion.. that’s a task!

Yes there are some ‘transport crates’ you can sit on. Fingers crossed the weather is nice for you!
