The Journey system is also part of Conan Exiles. It essentially acts as sort of a game tutorial with rewards for completing each journey step.

It’s kind of like a Season Journey thing in ARPGs where it starts simple like craft a water canteen, sleep in a sleeping bag eventually it’s gets much more complicated.

More of a "sandbox" game - well it is set on a sandy planet I guess....
If shields and vehicles attract sand worms the game has already failed as a survival mmo. Because you best believe people will shield fight outside peoples bases to grief.
Bases will be built near rock I think
Wonder if Shields and Lasguns (lasers) will have that explosive effect from the books.

If they not showing game play, its because the game sucks deez nutz
Being so early, it looks fantastic for what they did show.
But we know that looks and trailers can be deceiving.
This will be on my radar.
As for Ashes of Creation. I've followed that game from the beginning. After playing New world, and using that combat system, as limited as it is, the combat looks kinda meh, and the caravan system seems ok for like 10 times doing it and then it looks to me to be boring. There needs to be more incentive to pvp than just a caravan and freeholds. I dunno, I am hoping for the best from all these games.
I feel like Amazon is abandoning New world, and it is shame. I really enjoy that game and how good it could be.
