Best keyboard player in the history of rock n'roll. RIP Mr Lord.
Jon Lord isn't dead, he lives in all our hearts and ears ,and will live there forever........thank you Jon!!!!!!!!!!!!
♥️💯
JL: the one and only master of rock organ. He gave guitar players a run for their money.
Deep Purple are a magic band and have been a significant part of my life!
Me too❤
me too brother
Hard to believe that this great awesome band isnt in the Hall of Fame
Greatest rock keyboard player of all time. R.I.P Mr John Lord. Fantastic band.
absolutely, Jon Lord was the world's best keyboard player, no doubt about that
He was not only the greatest keyboardist but also the defining sound which separated Mark 2 from everyone else. His creative variations were unparalleled and he was the leading contributor to the creation of Mark 2's own genre. A genre of which only they ever played.
Maybe Blackmore can't be replaced but Steve Morse sure hell does a superb job playing his songs. He's an excellent player, he deserves to play with Deep Purple.
Yeah, Ritchie can't be replaced. But if you're going to have another guitarist it doesn't hurt to choose one that is technically far better. And Steve just loves to play live. You can tell it's not work for him to be on stage performing for a live audience.
Lord's (RIP) organ playing as always is EPIC.
He is Godddd!!!!!
Thank you Jon from Portugal
The best band of all the time!!! Jon Lord was a great person and musician. Thanks for this, Mr. Lord.
Deep Purple the BEST rock band of all time! RIP JL!
Thank you 🔷 🔷 🔷 🔷🔷
Thank you Mr.Jon Lord for the memories.May you spread your wings ever so wide as you play that Hammond B-3 in the sky!
He actually played a C3 they sound t h e same
We wore out so many eight tracks of this, even with the good rubber wheels, we just played them constantly, I thought could never get any better,,,then I saw Joe Bonamassa with Jimmy Barnes,,,was elated,,,now this?!?! Have I died and gone to heaven? If not I prefer here...thanks so much for posting, some of us old timers it seems to take a bit longer...:)
Mon morceau préféré
Merci Didier Hazet de me l'avoir fait découvrir ♥️💋
Jon Lord on the Hammond is like no other earthly sound; he's a bonafide genius. Personally, I found no fault with any of the musicians, and I have listened to this song for yeeeeears. When Ian missed the top of the slide, I think internally he just said, "FUG IT," and continued singing...and he STILL sounded amazing.
RIP Jon Lord.... your music and playing will never be forgotten!!
Great performance!
Was at this concert. Sat above and behind the control desk for all the cameras and if I wanted to see what was going on stage just had to look down at a huge monitor to see what is in this video. I could see the play list of all the songs before they were played so I knew what was coming up. The best seats in the house for one of the best concerts I have seen. And then to find out the concert I went to was on video just made it even better. Unfortunately I am old enough now to have all my childhood/adulthood band members leaving me and yet while there are people who are dismissing Steve for not being as good as Ritchie, as long as the music is being performed by who ever, it is still great music and can always give you a lift in life from no matter where you are and make you want to keep going. RIP all of our fallen performers.
R.I.P Jon Lord. Always Loved, Never forgotten. A hero, An inspiration, an Icon and a father
#Deeablo24 👍👍👍👍👌👌👌🙏🎹🎹🎹🎹❤
I can't say how many lord videos i've watched, or songs i've listened to, all i know is that when I saw deep purple, as good as Don Airey is I wish I saw lord, now more than ever. Although seeing Steve Moorse was good too! Thanks Jon, you've changed rock and metal for me forever.
Now there is someone who can play! Well done Mr Lord!!
Jon Lord - hard to beat! What a talented keyborder and Hammond player.
Danke an deeppurpleos
Hmmmm this is one of the best live versions floating around...
The Professor John Lord. Awesome song!
This was one of my favorite bands from my childhood, but they had many years of down time and Steve Morse re-energized them to stardom again. When asked if he thought he could fill Blackmore's boots, Morse replied, "He took his boots with him when he left ".
Steve is the man! Also, what a loss when Lord died, he is a legend!!!

Lord, inmortal!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jon Lord...... RIP brother..... As for the rest: Holy shit, this makes most jazz guys go "well, jon knew what he was doin (live/studio) made no difference"
led zeblin
Remember playing machine head on a 8 track craig stereo with jensen speakers in my 68 Chevelle SS 396 with a lid and a frisbie under the seat would drive around country roads all night miss those days
Jon was the one whom motivates me to be a fan of DP in 1976. At the age of 15 I bought my first Lp of DP live in Europe, in a store called kresge's here in Puerto Rico. I still have the record in a near mint condition. I always enjoy his virtuosity on the keyboard.
Jon Lord R.I.P, we will miss you a lot!!!!!
Rest in Peace JON LORD. You have brought me so much pleasure in my life time.
ive been a fan of them since they began im 68 now vinyl LPs are back my favorite quadraphonic LP was Machine Head and i hope they release it again and ppl you will need 4 speakers and get blown away by the way machine head was the first quadraphonic LP released

What a wonderful documentation of the man's prowess behind the keyboards this video is.
R.I.P. Mr Jon Lord.
The world has lost a true gifted mucian... R.I.P.
Planet Earth greatly misses John Lord
Music is subject to continuous alteration and a living thing. Especially solos are a means of free expression for an artist. Replaying solos of others is not the real thing. So I say "Very well done, Steve!".
Goodbye, dear Jon and thank you for the music.
THANK YOU JON LORD FROM GREECE.
I was there that night it was very good i wish i could of seen them with blackmore tho.
Great Music Dont need words ! AWESOMENESS !

Wow, Steve really spiced this one up! I love his playing despite what some say. He’s been with the band longer than any other guitarist, he’s an essential part of it and fits in incredibly well

Jon thy Lord! Master of masters!
One of the best
RIP Jon Lord, you'll never be forgotten.
Melhor apresentação do ícone para me😊
Happy birthday John Lord!
Jon Lord, Rock in Peace. A Lord. Indeed
Good version of lazy. Jon Lord is the best.
Mindboggling. Those singleminded simpleton radio station hosts will never get it, they are too busy playing a limited set of other well known (sometimes deservedly so) pieces to death. All the better. This is pure art to which one must pay full attention. Thank you DP for posting it.
R.I.P. What a band it makes upstairs!!
Monstros 😊😊😊 the best band 😊
Incredible 😲 jon lord ssssooo miss
ALL WHERE ON FIRE IN THIS ONE...FREAKIN STEVE WAS COOKIN
