As someone who stewards a little free library in my front yard, I am surprised to see ones that have so much space! Mine overflows and I have to store books in my house to cycle them through and try to catch the right visitor!
aww that is so nice that you have one! I've occasionally seen people add them to google maps so they pop up when people search for them on google--that might be worth a try to attract more people!
The Night Circus is a really good book, but i agree with not keeping the physical book because i enjoy the audio book soooo much more. The narrator's voice is so soothing and makes the story so much more enjoyable.
so true I do love that audiobook
Yay for new little free libraries vlog. Can't wait to check some out in my new town. Found 2 so far. The Halloween ones you found are so adorable.🎃🍁☕📚🏠📦
This is so cute and cozy. Love the fact that some people decorated theirs for Halloween🎃
Wish this was more of a thing in my city.
Yes, Lost Apothecary is a great book!!❤❤❤
It's so cool you have so many near you! They aren't that common in the uk really. My favourite finds have been an oooold copy of 'Kafka on the Shore', a screenplay of 'Pulp Fiction' and 'The theoretical foot' (which is now an all time fave!)
I must know more about the theoretical foot
@@katiemariereads OH MY GOSH. SO. The author was actually a popular cook with lots of cook books, and everyone kept telling her to write a novel because she had such a way with words. She kept refusing...then wrote 'The Theoretical Foot', which is semi autobiographical and follows some young rich Americans in a holiday home in the 30s, their relationship, social conventions, and the tension of an impending war. All this interspersed with vignettes of a man suffering with phantom limb syndrome. You need to read a bit about her life to understand the vignettes, but her way with words makes the whole experience unforgettable.
You inspired me to do the same thing! Just filled up 4 little free libraries near me :)
amazing!!
I tried for many months to find/buy a copy of The Ghost Bridge by Yangsze Choo, with no luck (I guess it became popular due to a Netflix adaptation, as I found out later). Anyways, one day while taking a walk in my veeeerrrry small town, I noticed that a Little Free Library had been set up. I checked it out, and wouldn't you know it - The Ghost Bride was inside! It was fate. 😊
Ah what a perfect little free library find!
City of ember takes me BACK
My confession is I’ve never gone hunting for little free libraries… I’ve heard of the app but have never looked into it!
Hehe the nails are cute though!
city of ember will always be a bop
I use the app because I have hardly any LFL near me so I need it! My fave find I’ve ever gotten from a LFL is a Barnes and noble exclusive edition of If We Were Villains 😮
oooo good find!
the last one had 'Worlds Cutest Baby Animals' so heck yeah I'd take that one home
Dang I am filled with regret that I didn't look through that
For me Night Circus was just ok, I unhauled my copy as well 😅 My best find was a hardcover copy of Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier, which is difficult to find nowadays in a good condition.
📚🎃
You had the whole hunger games trilogy and split them up. 😭
I totally did mistakes were made
I read night circus when it first released in 2011 and I didn’t like it then, tried reading again this year when it became popular again and still can’t read it 😅 idk whyyyyy
The app works well, but I only have maybe 4 near me according to the app, and I suspect there are more...how to find them? I think my favorite finds have been The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation book 1 by Mo Xiang Tang Xui, and The Bladed Faith by David Dalglish.
There’s an APP????
Yes!!
