That first library had an INSANE selection, super cool to see more modern-reads and hardcovers!! Hope they go on a great journey. More of these vids please!! ❤
Personally I don't separate a series when I visit little free libraries, I'll wait for an emptier one or if I want several from one library use the series as my leave books for that one.
I really like The Southern book clubs guide to slaying vampires. Like you I was expecting something a bit different going in to it, but when I sort of settled in to what the book was actually about I really enjoyed it. Great 90s feel and I just really like the female book clubs friendship and how it evolved throughout. But it’s definitely a bit of a different take on the classic vampire books.
That first little free library was so good! I loved The Nightingale, it’s long and heavy but so worth it 😍 And ooo, The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires, great find! I would definitely do the audiobook for that one though, it’s very entertaining and well done. And a recent thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat was Kill For Me Kill For You!
Such great finds! I’ve picked up a couple of Goosebumps at LFLs recently too 😊 Re: thrillers, some recent reads I’ve enjoyed include None of This is True (Lisa Jewell), Everyone Here is Lying (Shari Lapena), and Home is Where the Bodies Are (Jeneva Rose). My book club is reading Strange Sally Diamond (Liz Nugent) right now, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a thriller but it’s dark and HEAVY 😅 I’m loving it
hi tay!! i read the nightingale a couple months ago, and it has stuck with me since! i am not one to read historical fiction and it had be invested (yes i did cry lol). anywho, i love these videos, ty for putting in the effort to make amazing content
I just picked up "The Stolen Book of Evelyn Aubrey" at a discount store chain in my area called Ollie's Bargain Outlet. It is funny to me how many books in recent years have Evelyn in the title which also includes "The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle" & "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo."
For sure! We have a travel channel that we haven’t posted on in a while lol (Traveling The Wright Way) but I love to do day/week in the life style vlogs talking more about it! ☺️
Hi Taylor. I think Koontz writes thriller/horror, if you run across another of his. Are you going to make your 24 reading VLOG live so we can read with you and cheer you on?
I've read 2 Grady Hendrix books, and he has a comedic approach to the horror in his books. Loved How to Sell a Haunted House, but I did not love Final Girls Support Club.
I actually enjoyed Horrorstor and I'm usually NOT the kind of person who can handle anything scary. (I get nightmares sometimes, but maybe written horror is different for my brain than visual horror like a scary movie.)
It's fair to not enjoy the Pern books. However, there is a generally accepted place to start with the Pern books. (Well, I'd argue there are two books that one could start with. Dragonflight was the first one published, and Dragonsinger is the first book in a trilogy that has a teenage girl character who, long story short, has a kind of coming of age story. Dragonflight is the best one to start with but Dragonsinger is fine too.) Anyway. Neither of those books were in your stack. So if you tried to read one of those in your stack, it really might not draw a person in unless they're already a fan of the series. If you do try them again, try to find the ones that are a better place to start. But, it's also fair if they aren't your cup of tea. Some of the older books might not have aged well, but it's hard for me to tell because I'm biased by nostalgia.
@@TaylorAnnWright I'm sorry it wasn't right for you, then. Thanks for spreading the series out into the world so that folks who might enjoy it more can pick it up.
I appreciate your efforts! 🙏 Need some advice: 🙏 I found these words 😅. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). How do I use this? 🤨
I have a question. I got to LFL all the time, and am even building one of my own. I have tried using the app, but whenever I try to check in, it tells me I need to verify my email. I have tried removing my email, doing a different email, completely deleting my account, nothing works. I have even tried contacting the company and heard NOTHING back. Anyone else experience this, have a fix, or know what to do?
oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that! I don't really use the check in feature of the app so I've never had those issues, I'm so sorry! Keep trying their customer service.
I had a similar issue when i tried to use that feature myself, you said you already tried it, but the way it got fixed for me was to delete my account then also delete the app and reinstall it. I've found sometimes its downloading it for the first time that cause glitches to happen. Im not sure if you’ve fixed it by now but it may help
Unpopular opinion but I didn’t care for that Grady Hendrix book. There’s a SA that happens (probably more than halfway through and I found it really upsetting). Just a heads up. And I would have had that exact same response to that awkward social interaction 😂
So many good books! I wish my local LFL were like this - it’s my goal to improve them now ❤
Little free libraries are probably my most favorite thing that humans have ever come up with
Agreed! 💖👏🏼

I love your LFL Vlogs thank you for sharing.
Southern book club’s guide to slaying vampires is a favorite of all time for me
Yay! Now I’m excited to check it out!
I love giving to little free libraries! They tend to have such good books too!
The second library was so unique. Never seen one like that.
I love Anne McCaffery ❤️. If you try her again I would recommend starting with Dragonsong. It's a lot easier to digest.
I loved the nightingale by Kristin Hannah
The nightingale of hers was good and it was made into a movie I enjoyed this
Personally I don't separate a series when I visit little free libraries, I'll wait for an emptier one or if I want several from one library use the series as my leave books for that one.
That first little free library was amazing!! So cute and great books. The Nightingale is the best book!!
I also love how you stay and organize them.
Thank you! 😊

OMG, that first one had such great books! i would go back to that one.
"The Book of Lost Names" was good.
"thank you trevooooor"

It’s always a great day when Tay drops a video! 🤍
Trevor's camera head shake lol

Adding everyone to my TBR lol 😂
Your book selection is amazing but your energy lose by the end of the video was relatable 😅
😂😂😂
I recommend ROCK PAPER SCISSORS by Alice Feeney.

reading The Nightgale with the help of Audible I loved it. It is the only book my daughter has annotated she is the one that wanted me to read.
Mother of Pearl is soooo good
I always UNHAUL to little libraries
Thriller Recommendation = The Last Party by A. R. Torre (twisty, turny, kept me guessing. .and guessing . . . yowza!)
Added to my list! ☺️

The house maid by Frieda McFadden any of her books
Would you ever do a video about RV life?
For sure! We have a travel channel that we haven’t posted on in a while lol (Traveling The Wright Way) but I love to do day/week in the life style vlogs talking more about it! ☺️

I’ve seen his books around and always thought they looked so fun!

Final girls did kinda suck

Dragonflight was what I started with. 😭

@@TaylorAnnWright I also SUPER love seeing all the really cool and creative LFL designs people come up with in different places.

Will definitely be aware of that going into it!
Where’s Kayla?
Kayla is spending time with her family up in MT! Hopefully we can meet up again in the winter/spring to travel some more together. ☺️
