I mean, that's P5 in a nutshell, enemies can do 1 more, enemies can take a member of your team hostage and kinda do what you can in a hold up, and in rare occasions like this, an all-out attack.
the only REAL new mechanic in p5 in battle is the baton pass mechanic. one mores were always part of the series. PQ had the ultimate boss use AoA. demon reruitment was a thing harolding from persona's roots as a SMT spinoff. so...
Even the baton pass is not a new feature. It was included in SMT III according to what I know. You can save the current action chance of a party member and pass it down to others and it doesn't even require a 1 more to do that.
Honestly Caroline and Justine are 2 of my 3 favorite Characters (the third being Morgana) and thats why I honestly end up rooting fore them in this fight.
Solo is way easier than with a party, Ultimate Yoshitsune and Lucifer as a buffer debuffer and you should get them first try. When you don’t know what you are doing is when you struggle, I finished P5 5 times and on my second run on P5R they are cakewalk at this point.
Holy fuck, they have baton passes and all out attacks too? That's fucking awesome taste of your own medicine shit right there. Not to mention the picture for their finishing move is dope
If the battle takes too long, they get bored, do a little dance, and summon Ardha, who instantly knocks your entire party down just by appearing, and THEN doing an All-Out Attack.
Nah, Margaret is the easiest. You can Drain everything against her, while Elizabeth just insta kill you if you dare and you must resist at most, meaning you can still die to her physical crit and instant kill. And you have to use Armageddon at the right moment, or she fully heal. In my personal experience, hardest was Liz, then Caroline and Justine who punish you hard for having weaknesses, and then Margaret.
This is the first recorded instance in the history of video games in which the boss was like “now I’ll get serious” and then actually went hard. Plus the music was perfectly timed which was cool.
i mean, joker is accused for a crime he arguably didn't commit when coming into the picture to help a victim. This situation makes him very distinctly the victim
philipinoboy13 weak to curse. i used him for debilitate. worked well but he did end up dying in final phase resulting in everyone having to be switched up. still beat them tho
Still, you want a party comprised of those who can evade their weakness. Akechi can't learn that though and debilitate is not that good of a move for a duo boss.
Because! It’s not fair when the AI can actually use the same techniques! I kid, I kid, it’s nice to see the game follows it’s own rules. Sometimes, anyways.
An all out attack from you is not enough to take out most mid bosses in the game. An all out attack from them doesn't even do 9999 Damage, they just END THE BATTLE. This is not even an all out attack, this is a force quit. You are about as strong as the last few Shadows you ambushed to them. (Just like the other attendants fighting the other Persona users, i mind you. Elizabeth and Margaret act a lot nicer but they have the same mentality as the Twins.)
Well, unless they give us ability to have more than 999 health, their skills exclusive to them and stuff, they have no right to use the same thing on us. Especially that their all-out-attack counts somehow as instant kill despite their firepower being MUCH LOWER and having only TWO people performing it. Sorry, but unless A.I. and me have THE SAME skills and rules, we have right to complain.
Daiquawan Pickard I have yoshitsune (need to learn repel dark), Sandaphon, and Kaguya with null fire. I was very close to winning yesterday, but took too long in the final stage.
I had Ryuji and Ann charge and concentrate, while my mc used heat riser on them. Then agneyastra for Ryuji, and Blazing hell for Ann. Morgana for healing
The funny thing is if you have a Persona that has a weakneess but a skill that nullfys that weakness the twins will waste there turns trying to exploid the weakness of your persona. Also Limelight is incredible helpful in that fight. I used it on Joker and it results in way less 1 mores and Button passes fore the twins. I still needed a pretty high level to beat them on hard. I dont have access to some of the really OP Personas in this fight becuse I dont like importing stuff from my previous play through into a new one. So Yoshitsune is impossible fore me to have fore this fight because you need Futsunushi to fuse him and that fusion only gets unlocked after the magician Confidant is maxed out and after that you can not fight the twins any more.
I rather like this boss compared to Elizabeth and Margaret in previous games. I'll admit, this one is easier than the others with the right team and skills, but I find this one to be my favourite because of 1 thing: Teamwork. In previous games, you only had one target, meaning you didn't have to waste SP on multi-hitting skills and, since there was only one of them, they couldn't do an all-out attack. However, this time, that's not the case. The twin's strategy of exploiting your weaknesses and using the Baton Pass ability you have to chain together multiple 1 Mores until the point they can do an All-Out Attack, it is the same strategy as the player's methods of getting through battles easily. They even have the ability to revive and heal each other, like you. I always enjoy games where they have bosses that have your abilities at their disposal, as it puts you into the perspective of the enemy and causes you to have to plan accordingly, making sure you have the right equipment and attacks to make up for your weaknesses.
The only thing they don't have is the ability to heal the entire party to full (AKA both of them), but that doesn't matter too much. With 8k health, that did be pushing the boundaries of hard but fair.
People say that Elezabeth is harder but I disagree because for lavenza or the twins you HAVE to have party members or you have to do some out of the box shit like showing a weakness in front of lavenza to not have her tetrakarn then makarakarn
I miss the Equipment from persona 3 where you can equip Party Members with Accessoires who nullifies their weaknesses and even the Boss said that you are weak only because you do that. Thats not weakness. Thats knowing your enemy and your weakness and how you find a way to Deal with them. So its more about that you are smart what doesnt mean you are weak because cleverness and Intelligence will always bring you more then just Power or Abilities. Thats only limited when you dont know how to use it. When you are creative you can also use your Superpower for more. In Battle in various Ways or to Transport or for other problems.
