- DN solutions recently changed their name from DOOSAN machine tools and while I was sad about the name change the new branding and machines are AWESOME! Some of the coolest machines at the show I saw were the DVF 4000 and DVF 5000. These smaller but capable 5 axis mills both had incredible pallet changers on them and it was obvious they were purpose built 5 axis solutions.
Since I just finished up my retrofit on my 400 mm horizontal mill I've become enamored with new 400 mm horizontal mills that DN solutions makes. The NHP 4000 did not disappoint. I was blown away by how many tools it holds and it looks like a monster with the 5 pallet pool changer on it.
Finally the DVF8000T is one of the biggest mills I saw at the show. It had an insanely complex part in it for the demo part and just the sheer size of the machine was a lot to take in. Really cool to see a turning center doubled as a 5 axis machine on display there.

The DN solutions machines look solid . I love the DVF 500.
I have always liked Doosan machines, very solid and well made.

What is dn solutions entry level machine?
For entry level, I'd say it's the SVM 4100. It's about the size of a Haas VF-2 and is just as capable. Cost difference of about $10,000 but you're getting a better built machine that's about a 1000 lbs heavier and more rigid.
Those machines cost as much as homes.
