I ordered one a few months ago. I should be getting it either November or December. After test driving both the v8 and the v6, I find the v6 smother - although the v8 is more powerful, the power delivery is rough compare to the v6. I really wanted the plug-in hybrid but they do not make it in a 7 seater so I went with the v6 and $40K worth of options. If you have the means and already have diver focus cars in your fleet, definitely pick this one up as a family hauler.

@micahmuzio About overheating GoPro: researching for our camera we found that the DJI Osmo Action camera does not overheat. We bought one about 1.5 years ago and have never had it overheat or glitch in any way. I highly recommend it. Don't lose those great shots 👍🏻

Great review. I have driven several of these RR's & New Defenders (friends and test drives) over the years since the 2013, 2018 and 2022 updates and have come close to purchasing a couple of times. They are gorgeous and refined, but each one I have driven has had some sort of issue or issues (even brand new ones). Your comments on the low coolant warning, door creak and HVAC temp control issues on a new RR with less than 2500 miles are not lost on me and seem par for the course. If I had staff to deal with the service visits then it would be a treat to drive one, but time is the ultimate commodity and generally don't want to spend it babying a new car unless I REALLY loved it beyond anything else on the road. Agree with another post that they should offer a 10 year 100k mile warranty, but you're still out your time. Not in the same class, but eyeing the new GX550 or a lightly used LX600 which I believe is in the same class.

Nah, Lexus doesn't compare, just has absurd prices.
I have no experience with RRs, but get a GLS or an X7, esp with a diesel and it's good and issues free for at least a million km no repairs. And won't wear out by 300k km like a Toyota you mentioned

Every time I see one of those my 1st thought is.....I don't have THAT kind of money 🤔
It is a go anywhere vehicle. I have seen Range Rovers for years.
..they are a big deal in the UK...where I grew up.
I hear they are more reliable than before...that would be great.
...love the Inception reference....took me 2 years to see that movie...
I still had to see it twice to get it....can't say for sure I do.
Glad your reviews have fewer plot twists....thanks for that.

Great review! I’ve been in the brand exclusively since 2006 and the issue are.. they are very unreliable and plummet in value! I have stuck with Land Rover because my dealer offers pickup and drop off with a loaner vehicle. Makes the unreliability more tolerable but I think I’m done with the brand after this one! Way too expensive for all the issues.

I have the current model which is the 2023 which you are reviewing and I really like it but there’s a lot of things that I don’t like as well as my 2021 that I got rid of. First off I miss the climate control screen that the 2021 model had. It was intuitive and much easier than the current system. The second major complaint is in my 2021 model when you put the vehicle in park it would automatically lower to access hate giving you plenty of time to get out of the vehicle. The new 2023 model doesn’t lower to the access height until you open the door and by then it’s too late.
