If I could add multiple dislikes I would. For anyone reading this comment, DO NOT follow these steps. My computer cannot open any files and the audio does not work. Spent 2 hours trying to fix this and could not fix it. I undid what was done in the video and nothing works. It is also a Saturday so I have to wait until Monday to call tech support. This is a scam, falsely advertised video. They are also liking comments where people are voicing their issues. They do not care, they just want clicks.

@@far0ashgar there is no fix, had to restart my pc. Just make sure you keep all files so you don't lose anything. I had to download all my apps again but I didn't lose any documents.

You will have to system restore your computer. I was looking all through the comments for help, and this is the only way. You will have to log out or switch to another profile and system restore your computer. Found this out the hard way after he screwed me over as well. This channel has been flagged.

Doing step 1 bricked my computer. Couldn't logg in. Couldn't open task manager to try and redo the option.
So if you didn't read the comments before doing step one (like me). Im sorry. What I did was to turn off my pc mid boot a few times to force the pc in to a repair state where I clicked advenced settings and restored the pc as it was a few days ago...
Hope this helps and I pray that this video gets removed so it wont happen to anyone else.
This is simple solution to fix your pC. It doesn't cause brick your PC. Hope resetting or restoring will help
@@Easyclassestech Hey man! Yeah It did work. I know you're trying to help and thank you for that, but as you see there is alot of people who is having problems due to your step 1 including me. I dont know what causes it but doing step 1 completely locked me out of my computer, I wasn't even able to log in with safety mode. So the only solution was to restore the pc.
So I dont know maybe put a disclaimer telling people that it can cause audio to disapair or lock them out of their computer.

It's not working and it will block your computer, you will not be able to acces your files. If you don't know how to fix a computer you shouldn't open regedit. Speak to a computer expert first

Follow next steps
Step 1. Use shortcut keys Windows key+ X on Windows 10.
Step 2. Select Device Manager.
Step 3. Expand the entry Sound, Video and Game Controllers Right-click the problematic device it is either Realtek Audio, or AMD High definition Audio or High Definition Audio this varies on the audio device installed in your PC and select Uninstall device.
Step 4. You need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.
Step 5. Reboot the computer.
After the reboot please see it the problem is fixed.
If that still would not work please visit the support website of your laptop or desktop and then download and install the latest Audio driver then restart the PC
If you continue have sound problem
Hit on Windows key and X on your keyboard and then choose Device Manager.
On the Device Manager, expand Sound video and game controllers, then right click the Sound/Audio (Realtek or AMD or High Definition Audio) driver, then click Update Driver, then click Browse my Computer for driver software, then choose Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer, on the next screen you should see a box with the list of drivers for your Audio choose one that has a older date and then click Next, it will Install the driver, once done click close and Restart your PC and then check the sound works on your PC.
