The only reason I get the black arabian early, is so that I can use it to get the MFT from the Albert Mason mission. You need good handling and acceleration for that. Other than that, I have moved on from Arabians and now I only have MFT, Turkoman, Andalusian, Dutch warmblood and hungarian halfbreds. The longer I played, the less use I have had for any arabian.
I think this is the only arabian(the ones that can be stolen from random encounter like this) which doesn't buck u off that easily. It doesn't buck u off when u go near an alligator or snake. But the same black arabian bought from stable will u buck u off the moment a snake comes by. May be it is a positive glitch that these stolen horses dont carry the traits of regular arabian.
A similar incident will spawn in blackwater for John. And that arabian will have same traits as the one in st. Denis. So always steal the black arabian instead of buying it even though u have cash 😂

funnily enough wen i got the black arabian the guy was chill and i didnt get a bounty, he was going on the horses direction and once i grabbed it he stopped for a sec and started walking in some random direction with his wifes corpse. Wife: *gets shot* Guy: o no, im gonna get her body somewhere for a respectable burial, glad i have my fast horse here *starts walking towards the horse* Arthur: *climbs the horse* wat a tragedy, where you taking that corpse? Guy: to my horse that is right...DANG IT SOMEONE STOLE MY HORSE! Arthur: Oh i saw a guy with a arabian horse going that way. Yes it will. That’s not the only random encounter that happens in that location. So if you trigger a different encounter, just keep trying until you trigger the one with the black Arabian.
Considering the cost of these horses when you can buy them through stables, they got completely robbed by these guys for $650 lol. That's too low even for wholesale price
yea but they were stolen and the horse fence was in the same vicinity as from where the horses were stolen from. so 650 was indeed low but it makes sense. too much risk
Getting it in quest was kinda not possible for me, because I did not achieve bonding, even though I gave it all treats I was able to carry. My inventory was filled with treats, fruits and cookies, but it didn’t work. Is it important to feed it before leaving the stable with it. And does it work on all consoles?
Yes, you HAVE to feed the black Arabian while inside the stable, like I did in the video. The white Arabian and the dark bay turkoman can be fed and obtained during the later part of the mission. I’ve made videos on how to get those 2 as well.
im in chapter 3 and i get there in the midnight but it just a horse with the carriage, there is no black arabian there. and I realized that the wall in my game dont have grafity "leymone is a free state". tell me why 😢 @Rockworth
There’s another random encounter that happens in that same spot - lemoyne raiders spray paint and torch a building. The black Arabian spawn is a random encounter as well, and that’s just what they are - “random”. Sometimes nothing will spawn at all. Leave the area and drop by later, it will spawn eventually.
@elvincatur9600 go there at 9 pm and no rain. if there s no black arabian encounter load again and try again or go sleeping til next evening and try again ^^
Uh oh. Unfortunately if you lost the horse at that time you can’t get that one again unless you have a saved file prior to getting the horse. But you can still get it in chapter 3 like I showed
in this encounter i was able to kill the robber before it kills the lady ..thats why when i got the Arabian i didn't have wanted level as horse thief nor it didnt affect my morale.i just ride it and go as nothing happens..😂
It's a shame that there are few black horses in the game. I wish we had a black Turkoman and MFT.

Wish the Gold Champagne coat was available instead of that weird Amber Champagne, or that the Blue Roan MFT was made available instead

You can just steal the horse before the npc leaves with no bounty. And btw the event was in a different part of the city in my case.

If you feed and pat the horse and wait for the cop to walk away you won’t get any bad honor or wanted.
Although much better horses will be available I happened across this same random event as John in blackwater.

No, you can only have one “temporary horse” at a time

No. I’m honestly not a fan of the Arabians. But a lot of people are, understandably.

Not when you obtain it through an exploit or glitch. You can immediately saddle the one you get from the random encounter in st. denis
