Yesss, exactly! I gotta find a way to watch the later seasons of the MMBN anime that didn't get an English release, since Zero (and even some Navis from the mobile games) makes an appearance there. Anything to give me more official Zero.EXE content!
I saw this in my recommneded, I've been listening to Zero.exe's theme all month and this... brings me so much elation. Maaaan I miss Zero... uwu ... (And megaman x and battle network in general.)
Me too! Both in the general character across the entire franchise, and especially the MMBN incarnation of him. Network Transmission might be a bit janky at times, but adding Zero into the fold and its amazing soundtrack will always make it a personal favorite. I hope the ridiculously good sales of the Battle Network collection means Capcom isn't just sitting around on Mega Man, clearly we all want more! I eagerly await a new title someday, though stuff like the excellent Gravity Circuit has helped filled the void in the meantime.
I love speeding up and slowly down songs just ever so slightly to mix it up, musical context can change a lot with those speed differences. That said, I've never thought of doing it to my own songs. I'll have to listen to this piece again doing the 0.75 speed!
The melody structure reminds me of Kirby's Dream Land 3 and 2. This is a timeline where Zero eliminated Sigma, confronted X which ended in a draw, and Zero and the Mavericks he amasses or convinces to join him suffer a series of defeats at X's hands.
I absolutely agree! I really wish Zero EXE had like, any other Easter egg or cameo in the MMBN games after Network Transmission came and went, I love his design and character arc. I really appreciate the compliment, glad you like how the remix turned out!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked the choice! I've enjoyed the MVC3 version of the theme with its extra musical flourishes during the classic portion, so I knew it had a home in the medley.
Happy to see a remix of this theme since it's under appreciated imo and love all the other themes you snuck in! Definitely subscribing so I can catch more of your stuff
Aw, thanks a bunch! Network Transmission has such an underrated soundtrack in general, I love so many of the stage themes in the game! I can definitely see myself returning to the game for remixes to spotlight more of its music.
Aww, I'm glad to hear it, and happy you enjoyed it! Projects like this that let me do a medley are always a blast, especially when Mega Man has sooo many good themes to cover.
Exactly, I love my tragic man! Really, any of Zero's incarnations end up not catching a break in some way or another, but EXE has always been the one I've enjoyed the most.
Oh, hey I was sharing the video and I see you uploaded it in 60fps, If it was me I would not keep doing that a music video doesn't really need a high framerate. It takes up way more file storage for you, I would do 30 fps if it was me but that's your call. Presentation is important but so is storage ya know.
Oh, I appreciate the feedback! Yeah, I'm a bit undecided on it but that's been my norm so far. I'll experiment and see the difference in videos when I render them. Due to getting into UA-cam uploads, I got a high capacity storage hard drive to keep my files on, I believe it's 4 TB. But I know even that can fill up fast as I keep busy!
It's a shame that Zero.EXE never showed up again in the MMBN or MMSF games. He had a lot of potential as a character

2:35 who also noticed a lietmotif of X vs zero?
The part where Zero Stage 2 played was unexpected but very welcome. Glad I found this remix, awesome stuff
Aw, thanks! I love Zero Stage 2, sneaking in that and the famous Vs Zero song into the main remix was a lot of fun. Really glad you like it!

Funny story going at 0.75x the song is way more interesting since it shows the feels in a Megaman X way.

Why does it sound like an endgame/ending soundtrack when slowed to .75
Youre awesome for this
Not all music must be oh-so-sad. Besides, if all music was the same, what is the point of remixes?
Though, I must admit I like it better at ×0.9.
YEEESS I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH
And also Zero exe is an underrated character.
I love your rendition of this song

I like how you inserted Zero’s X2 theme

Zero stage 2!? X VS ZERO!?!? You just earned a subscription.

I'd scroll sides and beat all of " 'em " up to this song
the tragic Zero!
Exactly, I love my tragic man! Really, any of Zero's incarnations end up not catching a break in some way or another, but EXE has always been the one I've enjoyed the most.
Very nice, also you got a new sub!
Thank you YT for springing this up on my home page (probably because ive been listening to zero.exe a lot lol)
The original song is a banger, so I can see why! Hope I did it some justice.
