Joe's dream of becoming the boss of all his friends finally came true. I see it more and more every time he brings a comedian on, the conversation feels like one between a boss and employee. Even if you have a super cool boss that you get along great with there are still limitations to how open and free the conversation will be.

Joes history is of being a super aggressive asshole who started smoking weed in 2001 and changed his entire personality to the nice guy. He still has that old Joe under the surface.

the problem with guys like rogan and bert is that their comedy is based upon everyone getting tricked into thinking their lived experiences are unique and novel and they're just not, so ppl eventually figure that scam out.

Bert kinda stole the Edward Norton story from Louis CK & Patrice O’Neal. Louis has a story about Norton hanging at a Cellar table with Jeff Ross and Louis started lurking stalking and made a fool of himself when Norton was dismissive towards him. Patrice was in 25th hour with Norton. Patrice was screwing up a scene to Norton’s annoyance. Norton told him to play it a different way.
