Thank you so much for this video! I think this game may be a little above our current board game abilities but seems like a good one to keep in mind for the future.
I've watched quite a few playthroughs, and I have to say yours are the best. You really have a talent for explaining things. Thanks for doing this game, wondered what it was all about.
Great breakdown! Thank you for zooming in on things as you describe them!

I have this game and we really like it. Definitely a keeper.
Around before 20:50 the text says "wild card" twice when it should be !wild cart", which is kind of funny.
....I literally searched ‘’how to play in the hall of the mountain king’’, but I now see I should have added ‘’piano’’.
But I liked this video
Ha, yeah this is somewhat different from what you were looking for :P
Always have one eye on this game. Thanks for the tutorial, Jon.
Love (!) our copy and have been playing since we got the KS version. Thanks for doing a video on this.
Thanks for the playthrough Jon, I hope you are keeping well in these trying times.

Fantastic explanation, thank you so much
Picked this up just before the pandemic... now to get a chance to play it with friends someday.
Looks great AND a wonderful Grieg reference.
Love the cereal bowls!
I thought this was gonna be John Mayer giving a guitar tutorial on Savatages „hall of the mountain king“...
Around 20:45 there's a clarification about "cards"; I'm not a native speaker, but aren't those carts?
Thanks for another great playthrough!
Looks like I made a typo an accident there.
MADNESS REIGNS!!!!!!!!!! IN THE HALL OF THE MOUNTAIN KING!!!!!!!
at 20:48, do you mean "cart" or "card"?
It was meant to say "cart".
What if I dedicate a great hall and the statue is ALREADY where the altar is for that hall? Do I need to move it or is it automatically placed?
Unfortunately, it's been too long since I played this game to remember the rules enough to answer your question. Sorry about that!
@@GettingGames no worries! I’m going to play it as already on the altar.
Good Game !
I don't like how they designed resources being replenished. You should refill your trolls each round of they are empty.
this game looks amazing, but unfortunately also completely solitaire
.75 speed is your friend.
Really? I always watch at 2X speed...
Very helpful video. Grammar needs some work. Ex: “have the option of” v “have the possibility of”
