Confession, charges, prison time, and registration as a sexual offender, and we’d never have had to have heard the man’s name. Can you clarify what you’re saying, because it almost seems like you think Bickle could have remained in ministry?
He did 23 yrs ago with his wife present. A third party investigation is sorting thru this. Let it go. We don’t need all this. All this is doing is causing more division.
That very point about having dealt with this with his wife present is being called a lie by the alleged victim. Hopefully the investigation will shed light on the situation, but he publicly asked for forgiveness and I think a public response of concern is warranted.

Peter, when 1.publicly confronted by Jesus, later on he repented, 2.openly confronted by Paul, also looks like he repented, also Paul's conversion, repentance and face loss to the world was public too...so humbling to each of us, that we may repent and follow Christ, while we still have time

It is the Biblically ignorant who can easily be mislead. Read your Bible.
Power dynamic and trauma in which he took full advantage off. Remember he couched all of this in a “father/daughter” relationship. Using her trauma to groom her.
It was kind of a "David and Bathsheba" situation (Dr. Brown is NOT a king David but for analogy's sake). The Bible does not say she was raped. It was consensual. She could have said no, like this lady admitted that it was wrong for her to keep quiet for so long. Nevertheless, David is the one who sinned and cost both of them their first baby.
He is expressing a "lack of candor" because you have an accusation dredged up from over 20 years ago, and there was no actual sex involved. He should not have to apologize for something he may (or may not) have done. The only reason it "went public" is because the woman brought it up many years after he had moved on. Be careful not perpetuate the MeToo movement, and cancel people over unproven allegations. A presumption of innocence is required.
He claimed to apologize and repent "in the spirit of full transparency" and said nothing. He can't have it both ways. Either say, "nothing was wrong." (Which he cannot because according to Ron Cantor, he confessed to much of the allegations in a private email.) Or repent in true openness and confess everything. Which he wants to appear to be doing right now but isn't presently.
1. You are not meant to be looking up to people. You don't look up to people, but you look to Jesus. 2. None are right with God right now, and still its scripture and Romans, none are righteousness no not one. 3. I am processing, that you and others are not takiing the opportunity, to invite people to get right with God. You are not addressing the sin, and you are not inviting people to go to Lord Jesus Christ about their sins to get set free from them. And own up to who and what you need to, because Jesus deserves that much. 4. At this time, there is no contrition, no remorse, just a lot of immaturity and trying to get out of this whole situation, and then justifying, or making excuses or just being down right horribly prideful and saying we are all flawed, or we are fallen, or its the demonic, or whatever excuse that comes out, and instead of going we are not right with God right now and we need to get right with God. 5. Getting right with God should be your number 1 priority. And give Lord Jesus Christ a gift for a change, that you get right with Him, and after you get right with Him, then get right with who or what you need to. Take some time out and get right with God, not just seperately but together. Right now, in this very moment. 6. And at the end of your pod casts, give people the opportunity and reminder to get right with God and take their sins to Him and the cross, die to it, and die daily to it. Instead of doing the feeling sorry for yourselves or people you should not be feeling sorry for, and get right with God. You could also be doing the last supper rememberence of bread and wine online. 7. Do not look up to people, they will let you down every time, but Jesus will never ever ever let you down. He is still saviour. He still died for us on a cross and was born into the earth, not just to bring peace and good will but so we can also get right with God. And He spilled His blood to cleanse us from our sins that His blood witness ends the sin.

My experience with psychedelic drugs, the occult and communal living and experimental worldviews in my hippie days parallel Dr. Brown’s. His behavior and emotions are typical of the paranoia, fragmentation, delusion and unreality associated with the things I described above. In my opinion, he has evidences of an unhealed soul and demonic fragmentation and needs help. This is why his actions seem so strange to you. The world of the supernatural and psychedelics and the hippie culture is deeply crazy to the normal person.
Asking for forgiveness, deliverance and renunciation is not enough. He is troubled and scared and needs to be helped by people who know this world so he stops hiding and running…
Our prayer is that those he harmed find healing and that Dr Brown finds grace and healing and that Jesus could be glorified as a gracious God through this situation.
Yes absolutely. I deeply care about all this having been a victim of spiritual abuse and control, emotional and verbal abuse in churches over and over. I was just addressing your questions about why do his reasoning and words and behavior make so little sense - stalking Kim’s family, crossing relational boundaries, etc. the worldview and spiritual practices he opened himself to created a brokenness that he needs to get sorted out, as well as whatever trauma he has.
The problem is it doesn’t sound Authentic. It sounds forced, staged. People are not dumb and God gave us the gift of discernment and the prophetic. I don’t think Dr Brown believes what he is saying.
Our hope and prayer is that he would be restored in truth, but that does require true transparency which he claims to have offered in this video, but upon examination, has not actually put forth. That is what is so troubling.
"God will take care of this. It's not our responsibility." That is what the church has said for years upon years. In the meantime, pr3dat0rs hurt so many, leaving a trail of victims in their wake. Brown isn’t required to tell us all the details and publicly confess anything. Browns family and the female’s family need to figure things out without going public. And going back to repentance, the proof is in the subsequent life lived - so unless you are accusing Dr Brown of continuing with his inappropriate behavior, then his life up till today as far as can be seen publicly at least hints of repentance. 29:30 You think Bickle’s extended sexual molestation of 14-year old Tammy Woods could have been handled differently? I do too. Confession, charges, prison time, and registration as a sexual offender, and we’d never have had to have heard the man’s name. Can you clarify what you’re saying, because it almost seems like you think Bickle could have remained in ministry?
It's a reference to Mike Brown, not Mike Bickle. Yes, Bickle would have been in prison.
@@MinorProphetsPodcastThanks for clarifying!
He did 23 yrs ago with his wife present. A third party investigation is sorting thru this. Let it go. We don’t need all this. All this is doing is causing more division.
That very point about having dealt with this with his wife present is being called a lie by the alleged victim. Hopefully the investigation will shed light on the situation, but he publicly asked for forgiveness and I think a public response of concern is warranted.
with time i have murch respect for ap. Peter, when 1.publicly confronted by Jesus, later on he repented, 2.openly confronted by Paul, also looks like he repented, also Paul's conversion, repentance and face loss to the world was public too...so humbling to each of us, that we may repent and follow Christ, while we still have time
Take away, the dramatic “click”after the video of Mike saying embarrass us.
Loss of all respect for Mr. Brown. Very sad. 😢
Me too!!
And charisma 😭
Don’t judge before the investigation is done. There are so many lies, embellishments going around. Self righteous attitudes surfacing.
It’s turned into gossip sessions on a lot of UA-cam sights. God is into restoration not condemnation. Not to destroy but redemptive purposes.
Christians are not called to be judge, jury and executioner.
Michael Brown is not another Mike Bickle. Let the investigation finish up and stop analyzing and picking apart your brother and sister in Christ. How about everyone look in the mirror and expose your ugliness. Not of God to continue dissecting fellow Christians.
Why ? Havn't you been forgiven for many things? 😮 God forgave him long ago so why are you holding to unforgivness? Dr. Brown is a great blessing to the body of Chirst! No weapon formed against him shall prosper....

A lot of people can’t face the fact that they could do such damage. I think Dr. Brown is deeply haunted by his imperfection and inability to do something opposed to God’s ways. Perfectionism? Lack of awareness that we are capable of sin after being born again? Lack of grace and understanding of progressive sanctification? His character and flaws here would crush someone who doesn’t have grace for themselves and walks in such deep shame. He should be carefully watched so that he doesn’t harm himself.

You are judging right now with regurgitating the false teaching of judge not. Matt. 7 CLEARLY refers to hypocritical judgment, which is what you are doing. If you would do a word study on judgment you would realize that you bought into an error that protects those in sin and false teachers.
How do you give account to these verses? 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 "For what business do we have to judge those outside the church? Are we not supposed to judge those INSIDE the church? God will judge those outside the church, so put the wicked man away from you"
Not only are we required to judge those among us in error, but also instructed to expel them from our midst should they persist in error. 2 John 10-11, even more profound says:" if there come unto you any and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house and neither bid him godspeed when he departs from you, for he that biddeth him godspeed, is a partaker in his evil" These are only a few examples on the topic. It is the Biblically ignorant who can easily be mislead. Read your Bible.
20 is an adult! Shame on Michael Brown....
She knew he was married...don't forget that.
@@bigviewsmallwindow8335 it’s not so easy to say no to a King, 🤴
Even though she was 20....she should have stopped it. Not excusing Michael Brown!
Sad, so much biblical understanding but doesnt know how to fess up properly.
tbh i dont like how Dr B said its not for him to deny or agree about the allegations. if hes really repenting then he should just admit to kissing Sarah on the lips and smacking her butt and also the other affair he had with the other married lady
Let’s not be so quick to judge him. I’m sure we all have our skeletons. God will take care of this. It’s not our responsibility
Our hope and prayer is that he would be restored in truth, but that does require true transparency which he claims to have offered in this video, but upon examination, has not actually put forth. That is what is so troubling.
"God will take care of this. It's not our responsibility."
That is what the church has said for years upon years.
In the meantime, pr3dat0rs hurt so many, leaving a trail of victims in their wake.
God expects the body - us! - to handle this. Just like Paul handled a man who was sleeping with his mother-in-law in Corinth.

You guys are pretty good but you really need an atheist in your group. For instance the intro to Michael Brown's video, bringing up traveling with his son, was pure DARVO. The deflection, straw-men, deception, deflection, victim blaming is unbelievable. Nancy is a victim. FRIE is a victim, but Michael Brown wants to follow procedure and gather facts. And what reparations were made?
it was traveling with grandson, but I agree with you
This was a disgusting attempt of an apology and it is most definitely not a Metanoia. It makes me sick.

I have never followed Mike Brown.
Good!
Brown isn’t required to tell us all the details and publicly confess anything. Browns family and the female’s family need to figure things out without going public. I don’t see why you’re judging “true repentance” by how much Brown revealed to us.
Someone needs to talk about Sarah that clearly plays a part in all of this. Not only she has fault but she didn’t need to go public. Joseph, the father of Jesus is a great example.
@victormikhaylov8295 buts thats what you tube has spawned; 'Christian' in name at least platforms with nothing better to do than clout chase; they are no different from secular platforms- they just use cleaner language.
Brown is a public teacher and he is accountable to his followers of his actions. I suggest doing a word study on repentance and judgment so you can see clearly. It is the Biblically ignorant that are easily deceived.
@@Maranatha1927 sigh, a man says he repented years ago of inappropriate behavior - which is all you need to know.
The full details are nobodies business apart from those concerned, and Idk where people are getting the false narrative that there is a different standard of sin just for leaders and members of their congregation,
anyone could have done what Dr Brown did( I have no problem accepting the accusations against him - the detail etc), so are you saying if it was you - you would be less guilty, just because you are not in leadership? nonsense.
And going back to repentance, the proof is in the subsequent life lived - so unless you are accusing Dr Brown of continuing with his inappropriate behavior, then his life up till today as far as can be seen publicly at least hints of repentance.
It shows peoples hearts to even request full disclosure of a persons sin, and then not accept their verbal repentance, because they don't agree with the words used.
@@MRFITTA Wow, what an incredibly bad take. Have you not consider James 1:3? God requires those in leadership to be held at a higher standard. Also, the sin of this nature disqualifies Brown from ministering per 1 Timothy 3. If you argue against that, then you are arguing against God’s standard in favor of a person.
It's sad that you fail to recognize manipulation with Browns response. Brown's "defense" is the same tired set of tactics often used by those who dread having a light shed on their evil practices. It's called DARVO: Deny, Accuse/Attack, Reverse Victim & Offender.
I find the second allegations against him also speak volumes of his unrepentance and lies to minimize the sin.
@@Maranatha1927 I posited an opinion, just like you did. I have no problem with the word of God being the authority.

Each time someone publicly repents, many people rush and produce videos and blogs, saying that it was not good enough or genuine repentance.I have never seen any public repentance that has been accepted by people. If anyone has seen or there is one they consider genuine repentance who they have accepted their public repentance, let them name one. Left for me all this public repentance is nonsense, no matter what you say, they will accuse you of not truly repenting, just being sorry for being caught, or say you did not speak enough about the victim or you are just concerned about your reputation. This public repentance is nonsense. It just creates a talking point for critics and gossip in the name of exposing the truth. This public video only creates content for online video makers or bloggers for generations to come to use against you, Christianity, or your family.

Dr. Brown said that he made the video in the spirit of full disclosure and transparency. But then said, " I will not confirm nor deny the allegations." Then asked for forgiveness. But he does not say what he is asking for forgiveness for because he will not confirm nor deny the allegations. That's not repentance.
