More coasters doesn't make a park great. Look a CA wonderland with so many coasters but just a few good ones. Thats sfmm. Yes almost 20 coasters but how many are actually good? Premier west coast racers compared to Busch gardens iron gwazi. Not even close. Busch gardens actually spends money on there rides and builds quality while six flags buys cheap, cookie cutter bottom of the coasters. No comparison. Quality of quantity. I love visiting both parks but I'm looking forward to going to Busch gardens Tampa way more then sfmm.
You can say the same thing about bgt. A few good coasters and then a bunch of fillers. By the way, sfmm will get another new coaster (Jersey devil clone).

I might be biased since BGT is my home park, but I think BGT is way superior to SFMM. The atmosphere, coaster quality, theming, animals, and food are (imo) superior to Magic Mountain. Magic Mountain has quantity and some stand out coasters but that’s it.
Dedrick how many times have you been to magic mountain ? Because that’s my home park and it is far superior in my opinion even though I have never been to BGT
Morgan Stowell As I said, I have a noticeable bias. But I’m just pointing out some aspects of Busch Gardens I felt went somewhat under appreciated in the video. But you do have a point that I shouldn’t be making some statements like “BGT is way superior to SFMM”
Busch garden may have good quality with their coasters, but magic mountain has equal or greater quality, and significantly higher quality. Though the animals, theming, and food does keep tampa in the running.
As a basketball fan and coaster enthusiast, I really enjoyed this! And I appreciate the bit of research you did for the end as a casual or non-NBA fan. Fun video!
@@AirtimeThrills So, BGTB and SWO have really stepped up their F&B game in the past couple of years at festival time. On par with Disney in most ways, and better value.
I haven't been to SFMM yet but BGT is my all time favorite park. Their coaster lineup is great, especially when Iron Gwazi opens, and the animals never get old. The park theming & atmosphere is top notch and the food is pretty good. Throw in the fact that you can a ticket for 14 days of Seaworld, Aquatica, BGT & a day swimming with dolphins and stingrays at Discovery Cove for $200 & you have a winner.
When I went to Busch Gardens Tampa back in Febuary, I was shocked. I knew it was a zoo/amusement park hybrid, but I didn't realise they had animals walking around all over the place. As someone who the nearest "local" analogue would be Granby Zoo or Park Safari, it was certainly a surprise.
I actually was a little surprised how close this ended up. You are comparing Six Flags Halo park against one of the two Busch Gardens. BGT held up well in this battle.
This was a fun video! Bgt is my home park i actually build stuff for it kind of regularly so kind of disappointed to see it loose. But would of also loved to see the same video for the stanley cup since tampa just won against dallas
I was wondering how you were gonna do this video, but you executed it really well. Also they should swap the trains around on scream and riddlers #screamistrash
I think sfmm has the edge for coasters, but if we consider the overall park, Busch gardens looks better. PS: I haven’t been on either one so I can’t say much
I like the fun concept of comparing parks in major sports match-ups, I loved the one you made for the 49ers vs. the Chiefs before the super bowl, I only wish Worlds of Fun (my home park) had something new to offer besides just revamping all of its flat rides.
@@AirtimeThrills Knott’s would probably be the Clippers tbh. Solid in their own right, but Magic Mountain, like the Lakers, is an iconic, historic tour de force in the theme park world.
Haven't been to a park outside of so cal yet. Can't wait to hit Florida in a couple years. Plus, the last time I was at Magic Mountain, Jet Stream was still there. I wanna say mid 2000's. Yikes.
This was a much more interesting battle then I thought it would be. I personally prefer Busch Gardens Tampa more because of its theming, animal exhibits and the fact that I've just had a better experience there. Although next time s'more appropriate park battle would be Six Flags Magic Mountain against Cedar Point and Busch Gardens Tampa versus Busch Gardens Williamsburg. But I have to disagree with Kumba being better than The Riddler's Revenge. Besides that it was built over a parking lot, I can't think of anything wrong with it.
X2 and Sheikra have so much in common omg! Almost vertical drops, 200+ feet, red, wing seating, sheikra has a splashdown and x2 has a broken fire effect
Thanks for the video. I am from Chicago and planned a trip to Orlando in November. I was trying to choose, for one of the days, between parks I know and love (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure) or SeaWorld. I chose Universal. I will be in Busch Gardens Tampa for the first time in 32 years.

Great video! I think I'd pick Magic Mountain because of Twisted Colossus, X2, and Tatsu and all the other coasters it has. Miami Heat had no shot of winning and putting a stop to LeBron getting his 4th NBA championship.

Absolutely exquisite Chris
Busch Gardens Tampa definitely seems to be higher quality, but it just doesn’t have the amount of coasters to compare to Six Flags Magic Mountain
That's the conclusion of this video yeah, basically they're both amazing, just different in what you want to look for

Not gonna lie you actually made me laugh when you took a point for magic mountain having scream😂
Scream is 10 times better than any kiddy coaster. It’s really not a bad ride. It’s just a clone with no theme in the parking lot.
But I like scream it’s fun
I think the theming should have gotten more points, as well as park atmosphere for BGT
hey look it’s RoPlayz from discord
@@vari.x2522 what : O

I thought Magic Mountain would win by a landslide but Busch Gardens really has a good lineup that kept them in the running!
Yeah I guess it’s just another reason to focus quality over quantity.
Kinda like how the NBA finals themselves ended up lol
"They lose a point for Scream"🤣🤣 How do you really feel?!?
How can he say that? That's so stupid.let's see a fair Fight👏🏻💯
When I last rode scream it wasn’t that bad call me crazy 😜
Scream isn’t bad. It’s just that it’s located at a parking lot. The view is horrible.
He literally did everything possible to make Busch gardens Tampa win, and it still lost.
Imagine if the two parks had the same number of coasters. BGT would blow MM out of the water.

Nice video, Mr. Airtime.
Busch Gardens gets 1 point for food and 1 point for beer. And right now, Busch Gardens gets 10 points for being open. 😀
