I have the X4 and the footage is really amazing. Idk if it’s something with UA-cam but it looks so much better than some of these samples.

@insta can you please guide or provide tutorial how can we get this clarity because when we upload the video on youtube it gets so compressed and all the quality is lost….when editing and viewing locally it looks fantastic 🥺
UA-cam are famous for killing peoples footage, i would not be surprised if view generators are favored in the assignment of bandwidth and image compression.
Evaluating new cameras ASO i only take footage on here as a very rough guideline, really i must insist of raw footage to evaluate.
No @adventures ….easy to do and learn in a few minutes, do it yourself

This is not "cinematic". It looks like daytime television video. The locations are nice... Are you ever gonna do an 8k, 10bit 1" 360 cam? 360 footage that we can cut and color to match with Blackmagic or professional LOG footage?

@@raku5219 snorkeling as in staying on the surface with the camera at selfie-stick length only, yes that would be no problem. I've done that with my X3 without issues.
Yeah that was already possible. However then you would have to use single lens mode, as the stiching will get weird without the underwater case
@@melanieweeda4238 not at all. You can film in 360 and just reframe from either side of the stitch. No need to limit the capture.

Hi Insta360, can the Insta360 X4 record video using 8k at 10fps and 4k at 10fps.
what is the maximum resolution for still pictures per each sensor and the image format ratio, is it 2:1 or 3:2 or 16:9?
I would like to have these specs in Insta360 X4 :
1. choose the still image resolution and ratio , like 4000x4000 or 8000x4000 or 4000x3000.
2. be able to use 10fps , 15fps , 20fps , besides 30fps and 60fps for 4K and 8K videos and any other lower video resolution.
3. If we can control the video resolution and ratio , too , within the maximum resolution which is 8K that would be nice also.

Please make the next generation to make good low light or night mode for shooting during low light or in night. The performance for low light and night are so bad, after capture and review the video it just looks nothing. The whole video is like black screen and a lot of noise. I have try change the setting and video mode settings still can't get better video, see nothing. Please make bigger than 1 inch image sensor to capture more light for best low light and night action camera.

Its ok, almost no transition effort though. If you actually spend time making transitions or even just buy them then youre video will be good

THANK YOU! I'm constantly ranting about this 'short attention span' world. So many edits happen so fast you can't really enjoy the location. I feel like there should be a seizure warning at the beginning of each video. All the gimmicks and tricks get old and annoying extremely quickly. I always have to say that I am a big fan of Insta360, I have the X4 coming in a day or so and it is the 10th Insta360 camera I own. I'm so tired of the effects and miss the purity of the video. Sorry for the rant. Cheers.
@@Pete_R63 Iceland is a nice place, and of course i have also been there in my globe trotting years, for sure you like to take it in nice and easy pace and not this drug addict pace.
X4 look to finally be at a minimum of where i would consider 360 viable, though i would like to pull a actual flat 4 K frame from the footage

@@thelittlecamerachannel Would love to go to Iceland for many reasons- northern lights, scuba dive where the two continental plates meet, and just the raw beauty. I got the Ace Pro 3 weeks ago, still have to give it a try. Overall, I have really loved my 360 cameras. I love the versatility but have always wanted more resolution.

You just upload it. Nothing special. But these are not 8k of course, just reframes from an 8K source.
