Superior Engineering Toyota 70/80 Series Landcruiser Handbrake Upgrade Kit

The factory 70/80 series handbrake is renowned for not holding well. Superior Engineering has changed the cam angle to pull more cable, this allows the operator to pull efficiently on the handle to produce the extra force needed at the handbrake shoes to hold the vehicle safely.
This product will not fix worn or damaged brake parts , the installer must check the overall condition of all associated brake parts whilst installing the brake cam

We haven't tested it ourselves but believe it does suit.

Yep. It fits. Just fitted one to my 75. No issues whatsoever...

Just a note that the original bracket bolts are 12mm and SE supplied are 13mm. I was tightening them for ages wondering why they weren’t pulling in! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hey man just seeing if you have now found a way to help with your handbrake? My 105 is my first car and I wanna fix her handbrake as it's the only thing that doesn't work at all

Hay mate, we have not fitted one to a KZJ70, but they are mostly the same as the cruiser ute so it should work but we can not guarantee it.
