All these tips are great if you already have an engaged audience and a good size email list. For people who are just starting out that don’t have any of that it is not really realistic . Most influencers charge and if your products are high ticket items it may not be worth it to send out free products to influencers who agree to that. Also an Influencer can have a lot of followers that are not engaged shoppers or looking for whatever product you’re trying to sell. I wish people would make videos with tips on how to realistically sell out if you’re starting from scratch with no audience.
Hi Mercedes! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I really appreciate it! This is also why choosing the right influencer is really important. There are different factors you need to consider besides the number of followers an influencer has. You want to look at their engagement rate and who their followers are (i.e. do they have an active/engaged following of your ideal customers, etc.). In terms of sending high-priced items for free in exchange of a feature, you can be selective with who you pitch to or consider other angles that would work out for both parties.

I've watched this video a couple times now. So much useful info! I do most of the suggestions already, but I struggle with how far in advance to start promoting the launch. I feel that if I post too far out, people may lose interest. But if I post too close to the launch, I don't get time to create traction. How far out do you recommend posting?
Something I do that wasn't mentioned is creating a Facebook event friends can add each other to. They also earn entry into the giveaway by inviting friends to the event page. When I post in the event, it notifies those "going" or "interested" which is a workaround the algorithm. 😊
Hi Mandi! Thank you for sharing about the Facebook event. That's a good idea too! With regards to posting, there's no hard and fast answer to this. You can do 1-2 weeks of pre-launch (in the form of social media posts, emails, etc. talking about your upcoming launch/new product to build excitement). For the launch event itself, you can do a 1-day event or up to a couple days (7 days max). This is true but its Easier said than done! Business is hard hardwork- harder than anything u have probably ever done...if u r strong enough- kudos to u!
Even worse now qith the inflation and with chinese stores competing with sincere handmade businesses who cant afford to price their products like they worth because these store have everything for $1 !
Hi! It's still possible to stand out in the competition and I know you got this! Don't dwell on the negatives and focus on the positives. You got this!! ❤️💯 If your brand is speaking to the right audience (i.e. your ideal customers), it'll be easier to market your products (but of course, I agree that it still requires hard work and consistency especially in the beginning).
