I can’t count how many times I went to LV. My last trip was maybe 10 years ago. When I paid $20 for breakfast I thought to myself this is not the LV I knew.
John Fisher has wanted to move the A’s for years now. He has made it look like attendance was so poor that he had good reason to move. He quit spending money for a good team, raised ticket prices higher than a Yankees ticket, took no interest in the city of Oakland. All this to make it look like a fair idea for moving the team. Once he creates a new team in Vegas paid for by taxpayers in Nevada he’ll sell the team for his own profit.
You are spot on with this comment. As a diehard Oakland A’s fan my whole life I have had to watch the team that I love get torn down every year for no other reason than the owner is a cheap POS. Every time he talked about moving he drove more fans away and refused to spend his money on the team. I hope the Vegas move fails. Everyone knows this move is terrible for baseball. If it does happen I hope no one attends the games. There are zero A’s fans in vegas
Thank you! I only wish people would learn this and speak up more for the needs of the community and residents than his sick robbery of them. The A’s fan base will be few because people go to Vegas for casinos not sports.
Raiders 31st in attendance but number 4 in ticket revenue in 2024. Raiders suck on the football field but they are making money everywhere else. That's what the A's want more revenue and money
It's interesting how language differs, isn't it? Whether we call them matches or games, it's all about enjoying the sport we love. What do you think about having a new MLB stadium in Las Vegas?
Haha, "Jiffy Pop Stadium" definitely has a ring to it! 🏟️🍿 With a $1.5 billion price tag, it's sure to pop in more ways than one. What do you think about the actual name they're going to choose for it?
I get it, the summer heat in Vegas can be intense! Luckily, most modern stadiums, like this new one, are designed with climate control to keep fans comfortable. Do you think the stadium's design will help make summer games more appealing?
It sounds like you're really excited for the Vegas A's and the stunning new stadium! 🎉 It truly promises to be an awesome venue for baseball. Are you planning to visit when the games start?
The deals might not be finalized yet, but the video delves into the potential and planning stages of the new Las Vegas MLB stadium. Are you excited about the prospects this project could bring to the area?
Haha, it does have that iconic flair! The designers definitely went for an eye-catching look with the Las Vegas MLB stadium. What do you think of the interior features?
That’s just great, a covered roof to shield fans and players from the scorching Las Vegas Sun!! Without that roof I doubt they’d ever have those 33,000 fans in attendance!! 😩🤔🤷🏽♂️
Absolutely! That roof is definitely a game-changer for fans and players alike, especially in the intense Las Vegas heat. The fact that they drew 33,000 fans is impressive-love seeing how innovative designs like this make such a big event possible! 🌞 Do you think more stadiums should adopt similar features to attract larger crowds?
It sounds like there's a lot of skepticism around Fisher's proposal for the Las Vegas MLB stadium. Despite the ambitious price tag of $1.5 billion, it seems he's got grand plans that exceed his personal financial commitment. This raises questions about how such projects get financed and the roles of various investors. What do you think about the financial structures behind these mega-projects?
Thanks for the suggestion! Including more about the owner could definitely add an interesting layer to the story of the new Las Vegas MLB stadium. Do you know any standout achievements by the owner that you'd like to share? #sell #fjf
I do not like the done design and that the infield is round. That is not a baseball park. Oakland was round to and made for very large foul play area... ot good
The video focuses more on the exciting plans for the Las Vegas MLB stadium rather than the Raiders' success. How do you feel about the impact of a new stadium on the local sports scene?

1.5 BILLION for only a 33K capacity stadium is insane, what a world we live in..
Recently up to 1.75 billion, with surely more increases to come.
If the As Ownership can find the financing to pull this off.
Inflation, everything costs more.

The bonds are served by a tax district… taxpayers and tourists do not pay for the stadium unless they go inside the stadium and spend money.
@@togoandmoss Let’s hope we get enough attendance to cover the $1.2 billion for construction
@ I am sure it will be very successful… the owner of the A’s is putting up over a billion dollars so it’s his risk.
A lot of people are planning to come here for baseball. Forget the casinos

" The success of the Raiders.... "
🤣🤣🤣🤣 stop it! Seriously, stop🤣🤣🤣! That's one of the biggest misinformation I've heard all year. 😂

The raiders went from the second to the least valuable team in the NFL to the 5th most valuable team in the NFL … that is success by any measure.
@togoandmoss being more valuable doesn't guarantee success as a whole. Also, they're not in the top 5, so try again.

3:56 you put million by mistake... Good vid, thanks!
A few millions here and there. Nobody noticed right 😛
@@MegaLomanic_Stadiums well...john fishy who doesn't have the money will notice
It will tip the scales at 2.2 BILLION. These facilities always run over
We don’t call baseball games “matches” on this side of the pond….ok? Ok!
It's interesting how language differs, isn't it? Whether we call them matches or games, it's all about enjoying the sport we love. What do you think about having a new MLB stadium in Las Vegas?
The stadium is going to be called Jiffy Pop stadium.

Vegas is like 120° in the summer. Who's going to go to that stadium on those days? Not me.
I get it, the summer heat in Vegas can be intense! Luckily, most modern stadiums, like this new one, are designed with climate control to keep fans comfortable. Do you think the stadium's design will help make summer games more appealing?
It’s literally an indoor stadium
A’s + Vegas = AWESOME!⚾️!⚾️!
The stadium looks beautiful!
I look forward to supporting the Vegas A’s!!!
It sounds like you're really excited for the Vegas A's and the stunning new stadium! 🎉 It truly promises to be an awesome venue for baseball. Are you planning to visit when the games start?
More like, seating capacity was NO TIMES PER YEAR! NOT EVER!
Sounds like you're skeptical about the stadium ever being filled up. Do you think it's more about the design or the demand for games?
a city that always gets what it wants? we want free parking to come back and the rio seafood buffet. you're a liar.
🤡
This isn’t true, they don’t have any deals finalized at all 😮

Looks like the Sidney opera house

State the truth. Fisher wanted to propose a 12 billion dollar project in total which he himself can’t afford to invest 1 billion

They want to break ground in the 2nd quarter of 2025. You will find out if you are right pretty soon.

Las Vegas Athletics??? Are you serious??? Let the taxpayers decide!!!

Looking forward to seeing the Las Vegas MLB team play in their new stadium by 2028! What do you think of the plans for the $1.5Bn stadium?
@MegaLomanic_Stadiums it would be good I think a's will be team
Same fools who said the Raider Stadium would not work. Visiting fans will stay longer due to 3 game series not 1 game. That means more $$$$.
