Mark 16:16-18 KJVS - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover
This is so hard for me to understand. I just read a book called 'God wants you healed' by AL Jennings. It is of the prosperity teaching and i want to believe in his healing for me as i just found out i have cancer not long ago. I also find peace in James 3 and Hillsongs Another in the Fire. I just am scared that if i pray for healing and say your will be done and add even if you dont im going to love you regardless, am i not having complete faith in always having hope he will but have a sliver of doubt thinking maybe its best in his will if i perish? I want to stand in audacious faith but this is all so confusing to me and i wish i had someone to talk to. I know without a doubt he can and me and my wife and daughters are praying he will, but it breaks my faith thinking its only if his will, if i say that but then believe and have faith in healing, is that not arrogance or going above what his will could be? Its all so confusing to me right now.
Wow yes I completely hear that. And I just shared in a more recent sermon in this series on healing. God can and does Heal, but He doesn't always. It's like the 3 in the fiery furnace, saying "Our God is able, but if He does not." Its basically trusting Him completely with everything, knowing we have to go at some time, and that as has been said, we are invincible until He takes us. You are also facing many emotions and crazy thoughts right now too. He knows how you feel, and can handle your struggles. Praying and believeing is the way, asking for Peace. I will get part 5 up in the next few days as well. I am praying!
I still love watching Foolishness. I was skating in the mid-80s. Thank you, Brian
