Didn’t want to overdue the saying haha, we quoted it in another one of the videos that the Civic has raced in though. Yeah it definitely does help in the top end, plus on some of the DOHC engines that they make, the noise of VTEC kicking in is fantastic!
Thanks for your comment! The Jeep would get beat by the Ranger pretty easily with those bigger tires on it. But what we’re gonna try and do is find stock tires for the Jeep, toss those on and see how much of a difference it makes in the 1/4 mile. Once it’s got stock tires on it, the Ranger/Jeep race might actually be pretty good! Thanks again 🙂
(Josh) I was pretty shocked that the Civic came back and won that to be honest, it did really well in the top end! Miranda nailed the prediction! It was a very fun race!
We could definitely line up a Civic Vs. an Odyssey for sure :) We'd probably have to pick a specific Civic though. The 1.8 engines (or smaller) would get beat by an Odyssey very easily in the 1/4 mile. But the newer ones coming with the 2.0L engines or maybe an older Si might put up a good fight! And then on the flip side, the newer Si's/turbo Civics would take the Ody really easily haha. So maybe if we could get our hands on a 10th gen 2.0L Civic Vs. the Odyssey, that could potentially make for a good race :) Let us know what you think! :)
Also with the four-speed automatic the fourth speed is a cruising gear so when you hit that it slowed you down if you were still in third you would have been okay

The transmissions in the jeeps make a huge difference my last wrangler was fast as hell my current one is a slug both 4.0 same gearing
