Absolutely Killer Instinct's Main Theme is one of my favorite video game songs. I have the Killer Cuts CD and loved the guitar riffs! It fits perfectly with the iconic theme.
KI theme is definitely top 10 most iconic game themes, if not top 5. Thank u so much for this channel, love oddly familiar and finding new covers of my favorite game music.
Oh, I am very much looking forward to the next top ten. I'm a huge Dragon Quest fan. My recommendations include the main theme (obviously), the overworld theme from DQ1, and Heavenly Flight from DQ3. Also, I've posted multiple times before that there are a couple of songs from DQ games that should be in an oddly familiar episode.
I found it strange be that there was nothing identifying what the honourable mention songs were. There used to be text mentioning the track and game it came from.
I like that you had Conker's Bad Fur Day's overworld theme after the Pocket Tales theme, as I see it as somewhat of a remix. Also, as great as CBFD is, I kind of hope that one day they decide to release Twelve Tales, since I've heard that the game was just about finished.

Larryinc64 remixed some Holiday music in a Super Mario World style and Franklin Muniz combines Christmas classic with iconic FF themes, such as Dance of the Sugar Plumb Fairy with Kefka's theme. Anyone remember the KI snes presentation? the song played is "The way U moves" by R. Beanland, but that is a more crude, shorty version of the song (pre "Air Studios"), well there is only the presentacion video, and another youtube video to verify its existence. Anyone knows more about this obscure song?

I think you're underestimating the technical achievement of Rock Solid plus it's an absolute banger. It doesn't get old.

The SS Anubis theme is so great. I loved this game when I was a kid because of how difficult it was. That theme is unforgettable.
