Both of these women as such badasses. Both a big influence on my own songwriting. It's so nice to see them performing together again. Thanks for this post.
I saw Throwing Muses in New Orleans opening for New Order. All my friends went to see New Order. I went to see them. I still have my Hunkpapa sweatshirt from the show. I love this band! Rock on ladies.
@@kidkique what a weird comment. I commented on both her talent and beauty. I am not going to ignore that aspect of her to please anyone. I guarantee she appreciates it.
@@smashmouth66 it's not weird because if it was a male performer you would not have mentioned their appearance. I'm sure women value being judged for things other than their looks.
@@kidkique get the heck outta here. It’s not sexist to appreciate a beautiful and talented female musician. Triggered much? If I were gay, I would most definitely say the same thing about a male performer. I’m not so...
These two girls are the best representatives of American alternative rock. I am a European, raised on Radiohead, Placebo, Morrissey, The Verve, The Cure, Skunk Anansie.
I’m 34...just discovered throwing muses...goddamn it why did no one tell me about these ladies! (I had a few Breeders songs on my iPod in high school, around 2002, that my girlfriend had shown to me, but that’s all I ever knew of these two musicians.) Now i need to listen to Belly and complete my education.
Just be thankful that you found them... Perhaps you weren't as ready then as you are now. A few months ago, I discovered the Strings album (Hips and Makers - Strings version); I was so thrilled to have a new gem to experience (@50) - both surprised and thankful that I hadn't discovered it until now. Hope that makes sense? At 34 you have double the life experience than you had in high school... the ear-holes of your soul are older and hopefully wiser (more open to receiving). Take care and enjoy it all as it cOMes to you!🌚😋🦥🖤🤘🏾
More talent on this stage at this moment than in the whole of the female artists realm right now 😉 a sad indictment of where music is these days. Moments like this should be treasured, great post 👍😃
@@Jlivingston66 they aren’t all on the stage together though are they? I know there is plenty of talent out there 😬 Annie Clark, Aldous Harding, Lorde….

Two Steps should have been used in a John Hughes film: right about two thirds of the way through when the young couple have split up and are pining for each other, before the inevitable reunion.
Swoon. Met Kristin at Electric Fetus years ago. She did an in-store show. I came late and asked her to sign one of her prior albums. Wanted to ask her to queen me in her hotel room but didn't.

A great song from a great album (The Real Ramona, Throwing Muses) performed by two women with a lot of history.
Thanks for the post.
Two Step has always been my favorite Muses song! The Real Ramona is an awesome album.
❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for posting! They found success apart but their harmony is missed by many.
I was at this show, love them both! Loved Throwing Muses!!!!!!!!
My all fave music women, from Perth au at 12 to beyond , always learning. Thankyou xx
Time has been exceedingly kind to these ladies. They are as beautiful as ever.
Like physical beauty is the measure of a woman. Your mind is as rewarding as a mudpuddle
All these years later and I still have a crush on Tanya. Beautiful and talented.
I'm glad I'm not a lady and no matter what I do to try to express my skills people just comment on my appearance

This melts me it’s so beautiful.
Very cool- these women have contributed so much good music to my life, great to see them together, and Belly back and rocking as well🤗
good to know that they still care about each other and play with each other every once in a while.
They're half sisters!
they’re actually step sisters, not related by blood.
@@paw3498 they grew up together since they were 4 they are close as siblings can be
Boston was loaded with musical talent like this. Reminds me of listening to 101.7 WFNX.
I met Tanya Donnelly at Mama Kin club in Boston back in the 90’s. She was very sweet.
One of my favorite Muses songs!
Awww... love them so much
I know its been a while but I'm so glad these two reconciled. Plus the fact they both still look amazing at 50.
Yes but how do they sound? Or did you only ever like them for their appearances?
@@pyenapple I love their sound.

I think there’s a ton of female talent out there. Just too venues to see it.
But you're WRONG. You maybe just aren't looking.
Not true. There are so many solid female artists out there. Phoebe Bridgers, Kathleen Edwards, Emily Haines, Patty Griffin, Kay Hanley….

Anybody know what this song is?
Two Steps by Throwing Muses, last song from cool album Real Ramona 1991🤘
Cheers. :)
March 10th? Cool, that's Gail Greenwood's birthday.
I know because I was born on her 10th birthday.
Are they step-sisters or what?
Yep
