No Sonja, the Ch 2 at the beginning of each round does not count as a stitch.

Hi Sonja, the instructions is included. Please look at the pattern carefully. 0-6 months is the first sizing options and it says to Ch 60. Please do let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for your patronage!

Ok Thanks. I was a little confused because in the tutorial it didn't say what size and I had asked in the comments what size were you making the skirt for and you replied, 6-12 months to chain 60.
