- Making a Porcelain Tile Dot Mandala Magnet - 394 - Sue Sloan
In this video I use Mult-surface paint so you can bake them before applying the magnet to cure them if you like.
I like mine really shiny so I add DecoArt Triple Thick Gloss Glaze over them and they are dried in 24hrs.

You can use really almost any backsplash tile you like. Some are easier to seperate then others are. These I just soaked in soapy dish soap and were able to pull them apart.

I’m having a hard time finding this paint! Must be popular now
I order direct from deco art. They used to carry it at Michaels but do not anymore. And hobby lobby only has a small selection of colors. I did notice that Walmart started carrying it but only a small selection too. I’m wondering if they are discontinuing it or something. But you can still order it direct (all the colors) so who knows.

Yeah it works fantastic. I would still use resin for things going outdoors but for inside I love the triple thick.

It’s triple thick by DecoArt. It’s a sealer so the paint won’t come off. If you use multi surface paints you could skip it and just bake them to set the paint. But the triple thick will make them shiny.

Hi Sue! Could I paint on tile with regular acrylic paint if I am going to seal them not cure them in the oven? Thanks for your help.
I have before just make sure the paint is completely dry(wait 24 hrs if you can). And be careful applying the sealer because nothing is really holding it to the slick surface. I have resined over and those were fine. I would think the triple thick would be similar. Paint it down the sides because that will give a rough surface to stick to.

If you use multi surface paint and cure it in the oven, or use resin you sure can. The triple thick I don’t think will stand up to heat.
When I am ready to sell, where can I go besides Etsy? I am getting close.
Etsy is the go to for most people. I use Shopify but that runs 30 a month. I also used to do craft shows or you could do consignment at some shops. You just need to do what’s best for you. Facebook marketplace and EBay are also options.
