I didn't know Sue, but she had communicated with me a little bit in emails there near the end because we had some similarities in health issues. She said it was God putting us together because she hadn't checked her email in months, and she just happened to check it and see my note to her one day. I was fortunate to have just a small interaction with her, and from that, I could tell what a beautiful person she was. I'm so glad to hear of the family continuing her art. My father died from terminal cancer (as listen on his DC) almost 7 months ago. 30th of October and it's insane that's almost been 7 months. So we get it. I hope all stays well with you and your family. ❤

Sue got me in to dot painting. My dad had a stroke last August. I lived with mum Monday to friday then went home Friday night until until Monday morning to be with my son and new puppy. It was terrible times while dad was away, 3 months! But Sue showed me a new hobby and wow...it gave me the peace I needed to keep me sane. I don't follow any patterns, just do my own thing and lose myself. Sue was a wonderful lady and extremely brave. I think you should try a bit of dotting 😊 , follow some of your wife's tutorials and become a superb dotter. Keep on going. Love the tattoos xxx ❤❤❤

Her goodbye video came up on my feed today, and I was absolutely heartbroken. Sue passed away exactly a month before my mom passed. It's going to be 6th months from my moms death coming up as well. I agree that it feels like it just happened yesterday, but at the same time feels like it happened an eternity ago. I send my condolences, I know how hard grief can be.

It's the Holy Spirit because I absolutely LOVE dot art and I love using it for mandalas, because the process is so meditative. I am so grateful to Sue. I feel healed by the few videos I have watched. However, as her quick talk went on, then your announcement of her passing, and your update today... I feel some relief and hope. You could have your daughter's art be the main body of the channel and supplement with sharing art from your followers and your other family members( Sue's too). It could fluctuate from being a "how to" channel for your wife's art style to being a sharing channel to show your followers art. You could even discuss the shared art on the channel. Might even have a relaxing "Bob Ross" atmosphere which people may find as a welcome refuge from the chaos of the world.

Hello, like many others commenting here, I received a seemingly random UA-cam video recommendation of Sue's farewell video. What a wonderful channel it has led me to, and she was clearly a wonderful lady. (And who knows, maybe I have just found my next new hobby.) I had to comment because I am a widow myself, just passed the 2 year mark, and I just had to commend you on putting this video out. You seem to be doing quite well all things considered. Of course, you are probably like me with some good days and some bad and obviously you would have made this on a good day, but there is no way I would be up to sharing so openly with 1000s of strangers (or able to maintain my composure) even now much less at 6 months. It is quite a kindness to all of Sue's viewers that you have been able to do this. During the moments I was watching the video, I could definitely feel the warmth of the love the 2 of you had for each other coming through. I hope you continue to feel that warmth as well. Thank you for being so courageous, I will be thinking of you and your family. If you are comfortable putting out more videos from time to time (which somehow I suspect you very well might be), then by all means go for it, but please never feel obligated to do anything other than what is best for your own wellbeing. I watched Cassie's Mother's Day tutorial, I know that cannot have been an easy day for any of you, but it was a wonderful tribute to her Mom on such a fitting day and I hope being able to share a bit of Sue's legacy made it a meaningful day for all of you. I am one of many people who randomly came across this channel when one of Sue's videos popped up in my feed. Although I only have seen her work and story for a little over an hour, I myself am weeping. It's incredible the type of energy Sue gave off and the impression Sue made in such a short amount of time. I am so sorry for what happened and even more sorry that I couldn't have seen this channel earlier to thank Sue for all she did, and tell her just how incredible her work was. The ornaments on the tree was a powerful tribute and I love the Idea that you got tattoos of her work, all of you. I honestly think that is one of the greatest ways to honor and remember her! Now her designs and vision can be seen by even more people, and her expression will forever remain. The future of the channel is entirely up to you! You can leave it and allow it to become a part of UA-cam history and let it be a memorial or even like an arts school! Plenty of her videos still show up in the algorithm and the videos are informative! But if you are looking for suggestions (as I am somewhat familiar with video editing and how exhaustive it can be) I would recommend having people maybe send in their own videos or even hold competitions on how well they could imitate Sue's art or maybe even have their own spin on it! Heck, they could send in their own art projects and you and the family can all comment on it and rate it and do reaction videos and such! Especially for you Mike, since much like myself, the best drawing you'd get out of me is a _Meaaaan_ stick figure. Lol Another cool idea is one that you had! I think it would be awesome to see you or the rest of the family attempted to imitate something Sue made! You could even give insider knowledge as to what kind of videos she was particularly focused on or proud of! Maybe she gave you some tips that the audience would be appreciative of to know themselves and you could go over this as you yourself are doing it! The experience may very well be informative and cathartic. I will be interested to see if/when the channel updates again and just what kind of route you took! But even if it doesn't go any further, there is no questioning what the channel is and what it still represents. Whether it be a channel someone takes on through there own passion for art, or if it remains as a helpful tutelage for anyone looking for guidance and inspiration, it is cataloged in history now for any and all to see. - Thank you, Sue and my kindest regards to the Sloan Family.
You seem like a nice guy. I don't know all the details of her circumstance but having someone die of cancer is really rough. Someone so close especially. I know because my mom died of cancer two years ago. The best thing you can do is live life in the healthiest way you can. I don't know what you know about preventing cancer, but limiting your carbs to the bare minimum will prevent cancer since cancer feeds on glucose. You owe it to yourself to stay alive as long as possible to share your wife's memory and also to be there for your great-granddaughter. If you happen to see this message, look up videos regarding keto. It's actually not hard at all and it's just eating clean. If you cut out things like processed grains as well as sugar, that's pretty much most of what it is. God bless

I was looking for a crotched post and your wife's goodbye came up on my feed. I have always wanted to learn how to paint. I subscribed to the channel to learn how your wife did it. My daughter passed away of cancer September 30, 2023. Will be praying for you and your family.
I pray for your healing Mike, and for your children. Sue is with you. She would be so happy to see that her family continues creating and making beautiful artwork. The tattoos are amazing! I hope you are receiving support and care for grief. It can take several years to adjust to so many life changes. I hope you can use the channel to develop your own unique hobbies and interests. I think Sue would want you to experience the same fun and joy that it provided her.

It could be a nice tribute to make the channel a type of "grand central station" for art. You could have your daughter's art be the main body of the channel and supplement with sharing art from your followers and your other family members( Sue's too). It could fluctuate from being a "how to" channel for your wife's art style to being a sharing channel to show your followers art. You could even discuss the shared art on the channel. Might even have a relaxing "Bob Ross" atmosphere which people may find as a welcome refuge from the chaos of the world.
I’m soso so soryy for your and your childrens loss. Sue was such a joyful and bright light for the whole world, and i truly wish i was here to support her for longer. She was a truly brilliant artist, an amazing human, and im so sorry she was lost so soon. I’m praying for all of you, im sure she’s so so proud of you and your kids, we support whatever you decide to do with the channel and your lives. Im praying for all of you, you’re all so strong. I was quite surprised to find your update today. I just got to know Sue’s channel and her story a bit more than a week ago, and since that, I’ve been thinking of Sue a lot and watching many of her videos. It’s just too sad that such a beautiful soul had to leave so early. I am glad though to see you are all doing ok. Great idea with the tattoo! You all are so sweet people.

Hello, like many others commenting here, I received a seemingly random UA-cam video recommendation of Sue's farewell video. What a wonderful channel it has led me to, and she was clearly a wonderful lady. (And who knows, maybe I have just found my next new hobby.)
I had to comment because I am a widow myself, just passed the 2 year mark, and I just had to commend you on putting this video out. You seem to be doing quite well all things considered. Of course, you are probably like me with some good days and some bad and obviously you would have made this on a good day, but there is no way I would be up to sharing so openly with 1000s of strangers (or able to maintain my composure) even now much less at 6 months. It is quite a kindness to all of Sue's viewers that you have been able to do this. During the moments I was watching the video, I could definitely feel the warmth of the love the 2 of you had for each other coming through. I hope you continue to feel that warmth as well. Thank you for being so courageous, I will be thinking of you and your family. If you are comfortable putting out more videos from time to time (which somehow I suspect you very well might be), then by all means go for it, but please never feel obligated to do anything other than what is best for your own wellbeing.
I watched Cassie's Mother's Day tutorial, I know that cannot have been an easy day for any of you, but it was a wonderful tribute to her Mom on such a fitting day and I hope being able to share a bit of Sue's legacy made it a meaningful day for all of you.

I am one of many people who randomly came across this channel when one of Sue's videos popped up in my feed. Although I only have seen her work and story for a little over an hour, I myself am weeping. It's incredible the type of energy Sue gave off and the impression Sue made in such a short amount of time. I am so sorry for what happened and even more sorry that I couldn't have seen this channel earlier to thank Sue for all she did, and tell her just how incredible her work was. The ornaments on the tree was a powerful tribute and I love the Idea that you got tattoos of her work, all of you. I honestly think that is one of the greatest ways to honor and remember her! Now her designs and vision can be seen by even more people, and her expression will forever remain.
The future of the channel is entirely up to you! You can leave it and allow it to become a part of UA-cam history and let it be a memorial or even like an arts school! Plenty of her videos still show up in the algorithm and the videos are informative! But if you are looking for suggestions (as I am somewhat familiar with video editing and how exhaustive it can be) I would recommend having people maybe send in their own videos or even hold competitions on how well they could imitate Sue's art or maybe even have their own spin on it! Heck, they could send in their own art projects and you and the family can all comment on it and rate it and do reaction videos and such! Especially for you Mike, since much like myself, the best drawing you'd get out of me is a _Meaaaan_ stick figure. Lol
Another cool idea is one that you had! I think it would be awesome to see you or the rest of the family attempted to imitate something Sue made! You could even give insider knowledge as to what kind of videos she was particularly focused on or proud of! Maybe she gave you some tips that the audience would be appreciative of to know themselves and you could go over this as you yourself are doing it! The experience may very well be informative and cathartic.
I will be interested to see if/when the channel updates again and just what kind of route you took! But even if it doesn't go any further, there is no questioning what the channel is and what it still represents. Whether it be a channel someone takes on through there own passion for art, or if it remains as a helpful tutelage for anyone looking for guidance and inspiration, it is cataloged in history now for any and all to see.

You seem like a nice guy. I don't know all the details of her circumstance but having someone die of cancer is really rough. Someone so close especially. I know because my mom died of cancer two years ago. The best thing you can do is live life in the healthiest way you can. I don't know what you know about preventing cancer, but limiting your carbs to the bare minimum will prevent cancer since cancer feeds on glucose. You owe it to yourself to stay alive as long as possible to share your wife's memory and also to be there for your great-granddaughter. If you happen to see this message, look up videos regarding keto. It's actually not hard at all and it's just eating clean. If you cut out things like processed grains as well as sugar, that's pretty much most of what it is. God bless

I had never seen this channel before, but Sue's goodbye video came up in my feed. She was clearly a beautiful person who will always be with you in spirit. On this mother's day morning, I watched a video of Sue doing a beginners mandala in colors of green (my fav color).. I enjoyed it very much, and she shows how do-able it is for anyone to acheive a beautiful piece of self-made art work. May she rest in the sweetest of peace. Happy Mother's Day to Sue in heaven.
