"TV" (aka News Media Houses) are ultimately businesses.
Above and everything else, they need to sell. So they'll give the public what "sells" the most/gets them the most ratings. Book hook or crook, they will gain maximum number of eyeballs.
The priority isn't news, the priority is spectacle. And in some cases, patronage from certain political/ideological/foreign/terrorist elements.
And while I'll be the first to admit that some media houses are less pernicious than others, ultimately that is the fundamental problem with relying on a business for getting the truth.
Businesses are great for running an economy. Not for this though.
Because they believe in TRP created by high decibels and complete cacophony.

Our biggest enemies are the audit firms who cooperate and give innovative ideas to cook books, plus the investigation agency has to be more aggressive. If these two policemen are strengthen then for sure the money will be put to better use for the nation.

Great honest information. There should be no.mercy for these people who think they can escape after looting public sector banks which are the foundation of trust for common citizens of india for saving their hard earned money.

Thank you for this video about how Modi 2 is tackling crooks in our industries. It was quite frustrating to see that after getting elected on anti corruption issues in 2014, Modi 1 did almost nothing to reign in corruption and corrupts. Hope things have started moving in right direction and the will pick up in time to come with some substantial results and not mere optics.

None of these scams would have occurred without the help and directions of politicians.
They are India's misfortune.
India is much more valuable than Singapore, but for our politicians and their collaborators the industrialist, businessmen who are out to loot the country.
When the UPA government decided to write off farmer's loans of 75000 crores, captains of trade and industry were shouting from roof tops that it will have desatrous effects on the economy.
Also when the Sahara group chairman, Roy was put behind bars by the honourable supreme court, business class showed their displeasure about it.
I also remember a few decades ago when the government thought of increasing taxes on foreign business, Indian business leaders would shout that it would scare them out of India.
I used to wonder if foreign business class were small children to get scared.
Why CBI for everything? What are the state governments doing? That is the weak link as far as this medium-scale loan defaults are concerned.
Maybe at the state level, all politicians are friends and help each other
Modi should also go after those "little guys" who sit on a street and make a brisk business. These people are multi-millioners and do not pay a penny towards taxes.

Where to complain effectively?
Auditors, Rating Agencies & Regulators are not independant and will never be. They also judge the companies based on perception rather than facts. I personally think that this cannot be changed completely because of the basic dynamics of this relationship. At least we can make sure that as soon as a problem is detected the information is not withheld for long.

Maam just read the news that CBI can't raid the bank without permission of the bank. It's the syndicate of the banking officials and corporates that have been looting the common people money from the banks. Latest case PMC bank. Only one word for this. Golmaal hai Bhai sab goolmal hai.

Pleased to see optimism coming from you as result of some real action by Govt mandated agencies. Huge amount of NPAs are not innocent business going bad. Lot of things and diverting funds would be common and ought to be tracked and recovered. Lot of delays and mess up are result of actions in Judicial system.
The problem is not with the corporate but with the red tape. What happened to all those UMPP. Land were allocated and loans were drawn, coal blocks never got allocated thanks to coal gate scam and those loans soon turned into NPAs. How can you blame corporates for these loans. Had the red tape removed in allocating these coal blocks they would have been performing assets. It is about time govt is clear about its role in creating policies. Look at the Sterlite Tuticorin where a profitable enterprise is turned into an NPA. Are we going to blame vedanta or the govt that gave environmental clearance for such a project. Even Mallya is not an economic offender as all airlines are on a cyclical decline Kingfisher, Jet now, Air India always and who know when Go or Spicejet needs fund injection. EastWest, Damania, ModiLuft and the list goes on and on.
