It was January of 2002 that I first saw the CKY videos, and more importantly - heard the music that was included. Which the actual band, CKY was clearly a part of. But this was also when death/black metal entered my wheelhouse, also Darkwave. I am eternally thankful to Bam for including the music that he did on the CKY videos. Early In Flames, mid-Dimmu Borgir, The Kovenant but also some more obscure stuff like Desultory, Sopor Aeternus. Very cool. Bjork is always amazing, but everyone knows that. That orbital song still gives me some feels, but I thing that may have more to do with the Mortal Kombat soundtrack, and the fact that Fear Factory was one of my gateway bands in terms of metal.

Deron Miller dropped two albums with his new band 96 Bitter Beings. There's Camp Pain, and synergy restored. I'd say it's just as good if not better than old CKY. Check it out!
