Corey Minor calls Alan DiDio a Charlatan: My Response with Bishop DiDio

- Corey Minor from Smart Christians says that Alan DiDio's account of a vision of heaven is bogus. I just happen to know Pastor Alan and was able to arrange a short interview concerning this dream (or "night vision") and its purpose.

Pastor Alan preached in Charleston in 2016 and I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Love that man and his family.
There is some kind of weird and yet hilarious irony in someone that claims to be a cessationist, believing they operate in the gift of discerning of spirits. Lol.
I'm sure Corey would never put it like that, but that is exactly what's happening. He is on the one hand mocking those that believe in gifts for today, and then asking his audience to believe that he has somehow discerned the true hearts intent of another believer.

I do not question the salvation of cessationists, but I've reached a point in my life where I find myself praying for them and then just moving on. They are missing the full blessing of God in their lives and denying it for others. Conversely, I find myself scrutinizing self-proclaimed "prophets" and "apostles" more closely and weighing their words against the written Word. 1Thessalonians 5:18-23
It is not our job to specify who is saved and who is not. While for some it may be just ignorance and bad upbringing, one of the many dangers of cessationism is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which is far more serious.

@@tomtemple69 Perhaps he is not a cessationist in the "traditional sense" because while he still believes that apostles exist today, by his own words in his previous videos they no longer exist in the same manner as those in the so called "apostolic era". This is a man-made distinction that is arguably a very mild form of cessationism.

We can see from this passage, the new apostle that took Judas' place MUST have witnessed the resurrection
@@robertemard9452soooo are Assemblies of God members cessationists too? The oldest Pentecostal denomination in the world does not accept modern day apostles. Are you willing to label them cessationist too? You can be Charismatic (like yours truly) without accepting modern day apostles. I don't accept it because Peter seems to limit it to eyewitnesses of the risen Christ in Acts 1. In my country we have more apostles than you can shake a stick at. One prominent apostle I know is a Freemason and is on his third wife, who nearly divorced him.
Corey thinks he is the authority on the Word!
I tend to agree with many of his viewpoints but I must admit that he comes off as haughty and anti-pentecostal
Corey Minor basically makes a living off of criticizing people.
You count the videos of his teaching and you will have to retract that statement

@@Manchild331he teaches a lot but his main focus is critiquing Charismatics. I wish the discernment ministries would place a greater emphasis on critiquing cults (scientology, Christian science, JWs, LDS, ect)

I've never heard of Pastor Dido. Clearly, he has credentials as a servant of God and deserves to be heard out.
Maybe you should watch the video “ They lied to you about Pentecost” where he twists Galatian’s 6:7 and where he raffles a Harley Davidson at the end but you have to sow a seed and buy a raffle ticket. Problem is everyone buys a ticket but there’s only one winner. Unless of course he prays over the Harley and it multiplies.

Excellent interview, Rod, not only because of a quality defense of pastor Didio, but also for allowing him to share the message concerning his visitation - the anointing. The Lord has been speaking to me about this very topic for some time, and hearing this word has encouraged me to focus more intentionally on it. Dear brother in Christ Rod, you may have no idea of the full impact of the good that God is using you to do in the body of Christ WORLDWIDE! I love watching your videos and before God brought me across your precious ministry, I used to wonder how come there wasn't any genuine ministry that 'exposes the exposers' and their hypocrisy and lack of true genuine integrity! I've got enough to deal with in my life to worry much about other's walk. I do listen carefully to others, and decide if what they say stacks up with Scripture. Another example on the question of dreams: we see Joseph packing up his family and fleeing to Egypt, after a message from an angel in a dream

I'm a Seer and what I gather is his dream about the people in heaven learning about the anointing are people on earth learning about the anointing from heaven's perspective. People on earth have an earthly understanding of the anointing and that anointing doesn't work, hint why the church is having issues. We must go up in the spirit or third heaven to activate Christ anointing to its full potential. Believers don't know how to enter in but when they do they will look like Moses coming down the mountain.

Maybe be careful not to focus too much on Corey Monor's criminal history in case he had geniune repentance. Your criticism of his criticism of DiDio can stand alone without it.
I was just pointing out the irony of a convicted fraud calling others charlatans (aka frauds). Having said that, Corey has transparency issues regarding his past as others have pointed out.

Corey likes to pretend that he was "vindicated" for his crimes (he wasn't); he pretends that he was unfairly sentenced (he wasn't); he slanders his lawyer for not offering a strong defense (she did), and he claims that he was "factually guilty" of his crimes, but not really (how does that work? guilty or innocent..can't be both). He's not just got transparency issues but honesty issues on this.

A little 13yrs...... is a PROBLEM.....
In this vision Didio is walking and talking with Jesus, the Anointed one, the God of the universe, the creator, before whom every knee will bow but even so Didio wants to run over to a group of people having a discussion. As it turns out, they are discussing the anointing. It seems strange to me that a person would want to leave the presence of the most appealing, anointed, king of the universe, in order to listen to a group of the created discuss something when the real deal is standing right there. Just saying. . .
This encounter must have been a dream. So many people are claiming to have been to heaven. It's to the point that I am now wondering when I will get a trip. Lol. I get what you are saying though. I don't believe he actually been to heaven or had seen the Lord. I vividly remember seeing a small demon that looked like an ape or 🐒. That was on the very night Hurricane Dorian hit my island in The Bahamas. And I can tell you, that experience had me shaken up as a 40 year old.

That being said, there is too much out there today that is a bubble or more off. About DiDio, I don’t think he is a charlatan or a showoff. His dream just seemed a bit off when one considers the incredible person of Jesus.
The book Azusa Street states things well. This is not about DiDio, but about the general craziness out there.

The attention of the people must be first of all, and always, held to Him. A true ‘Pentecost’ will produce a mighty conviction of sin, a turning to God. @@iibttritlyou mean Azusa Street by Bartleman? I read that last year. Enjoyed it. I too believe in the Charismata. My twin brother been to hell so I do believe in some of these NDE testimonials. But this one is suspect. Can't imagine an individual wanting to move away from the Lord to talk to fellow creatures...

I think it was Bartleman. Not sure, the book was borrowed.
What has helped me the most was Kenneth Hagins early books, ‘Authority of the Believer’ and ‘Bible Prayer Study Course’. I think I would be dead or miserably sick had I not been encouraged in the faith with these writings. About the only times I have seen miracles is when the word of faith was preached.

Not only that Mr Minor said ‘that people are prime candidates that after the devil showed what he can offer them,they would sign up’ with Satan. What a sad statement to make about follow believers. Shouldn’t he be praying for them. What makes him think people are so weak minded. And the saddest part is anyone thinking that followers of those ministers are only after money. And his statement is false scripturally because satan has nothing to offer. He lost at Jesus’ resurrection.
Corey is bringing division in the body of Christ, at least with Alan. This young man has zero discernment. Corey, if you met Jesus while in jail, plz cultivate a relationship with him, and cease spewing such foolish monologue about other people. You are on extremely dangerous ground in what you are currently doing.

I can care less about anyone’s experiences and what they feel God has shown them or not ! Biased my ass dude. Rod actually uses evidence and in context clips when criticising someone. That Corey dude or in fact all these “discernment” channels on UA-cam always straw man and take out of context what a preacher is saying.
Corey is right and Didio will answer to God for his deliberate dishonesty! Yes he’s definitely a Charlatan! You mentioned about Corey’s record but he already shared with us his prison experience so you’re not sharing anything new about him! DiDio is being called out and needs to repent! As I showed in the video Alan DiDio didn't claim that he physically went to heaven. He saw a vision of heaven. Visions are absolutely biblical. In fact in the book of Joel we are told that in the last days old men will dream dreams and young men shall see visions. So there's nothing for him to repent of because what he related was perfectly biblical.
Would like to hear an honest discussion on the Sovereignty of God Look for truth. ministry. Thank You for this content.
