I think this will either be a great hire or a disaster for the dallas mavericks as i do not believe he will be a great coach for kristaps porzingis

@@bsmoove2800 yes it does. Being a head coach is way more than just xos. You have to be a leader and if a guy that has reports of sending players to counseling also just so happens to beat his wife, that tells you what kind of LEADER he is.

It ain't that bad some people who have normal jobs have to work on Christmas Eve and they are "professionals" so they shouldn't be moaning especially with how much they get paid
NBA players aren't normal professionals. Their profession is an outlier compare to the normal workforce. What happens to them will always be different than the rest of us.
1st. The book is Giannis' bio..not autobio.
2nd. Psychological warfare is NECESSARY if you have a winning mentality.
3rd. NBA today is too soft. Remember 90s coaches & players.
4th. Haters will always be haters.
5th. Sensationalism of this topic does not do anyone any good.
i dont really like Kidd at all. but USA players are soft af with the coach stuffs. the eastern europe coach is one thing, but just looking at Luka´s past, he had a tough coach in Laso, you can all just look at example videos of him directly with luka or another players. Sure, offcourt things, you never know, and with Laso example, he is a great coach appart from a tough one. And Kidd is not. Hopefully, as a Mavs fan, he show me wrong

Luka didn’t like Rick Carlisle in part b/c he was an asshole to certain players, would demean & degrade them. If Kidd treats the end of the bench guys like shit, it’s prob not gonna go over well w/ Luka at all. This has all the potential to blow up in spectacular fashion.
Him making them practice on Christmas isn’t a bad thing if the team is struggling
