  • Hey there everyone Its finally here the 1 million sub Massive Motor Melt Down. This was a brutal breakdown and my hands feel like they have been through a grinder but after a long week of Breaking Melting and Editing its definitely all worth it. A touch under the 30KG mark of pure copper from this big motor which im pretty happy about as i guessed i would only get about 25KG. Now I know this is a super long video but i had well over 9 hours of footage i compressed down to 34 minutes. I hope you do enjoy the longer video today , Now sit back and take a load off for half an hour and check out this Scrapyard found Massive motor melt.
Feel like supporting the channel it wont cost you a cent as you can Simply just donate some of your time. By just by allowing the ads to play through this will help out a lot and that’s how I make a bit extra revenue and the good thing is more revenue means more giveaways and more treats for the dogs👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻and like I always say if you like the rings shown and used in this video be sure to check out the description where you can get 20% off the already discounted rings using my code and if you want to try your hand at melting yourself you can buy the burner on its own or the whole furnace set up and I can organize a 5% link for you off the total furnace price just email me on bigstackddddd@mail.com 😁👍🏻.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

Hey guys it’s finally here, my biggest motor melt down yet. I apologise for the extended video as there’s a heap of melting and pouring involved but it was definitely worth doing for sure , thanks again to everyone who help me get to the 1 million now let’s see if I can get to 2🤔🤞🏻.

We all know the truth, BigstackD: everything up to this point was just a means to justify buying that giant air hammer.

The irony of working in a foundry and then I come home and watch these all night... Lol.

Hey BigStack! I used to work in a motor repair shop. The way we pulled the windings out of a motor that size was to use an air chisel to cut one of the ends off the winding, then use a flame wand to burn off all the varnish. The coils would just pull out of the other end. Lot less messy.

I had honestly never considered a hardening liquid metal as freezing, but now I don't know how I ever thought differently.

The inside of that thing looked remarkably good for the condition it was in. The rotor was spinning freely and everything. Well constructed.

I'm a blacksmith myself and I just love molten metal. Remarkable how much you got out of this motor.

Let’s all hear it for bigstackD. Think about all the time he spends on breaking these old motors down. Not just this big one, he spends time on all motors he disassembles. All for the enjoyment of us. So that we loyal viewers can watch this metal melting god do his work. So big hands for bigstackD. Congrats on the one million subs

The process of melting and pouring is one thing, but the process of dismantling is also incredibly satisfying!

You deserve all of your success. I'm blown away by this content. It is described by 'TvTropes' as "simple", however I think this is far from true. The formula for the videos is simple - Get something, chop it up, melt it down... But then when you really watch the content, it's carefully made to provide an entertaining yet informative experience. The inside jokes: the pups; the beers; the weird socks; the hidden food; Mr whippy and the random activities/props, all prove that these videos are thought out and purpose built for entertainment. Not to mention the awesome treasure room. You're a modern day pirate. Excellent work. I'm glad I found this channel.
