- CBS News Colorado reporter Jasmine Arenas spoke to residents in a Denver neighborhood who say teenagers in the area are making it unsafe for neighbors.
The man : "The children are a danger to us"
Also the man "I won't press charges"
And you wonder why the kids feel entitled to throwing rocks through your windshield.
Had to Quit DPS as a School Bus Driver because The School District will take the Student's Side 100% of the Time..
You can't solve a problem if you can't identify the group causing the problem, name them and shame them.

If the parents and the school systems won't raise properly behaved individuals, the streets will. And the streets are not forgiving.
I worked for DPS for several years. The kids in Denver have been learning, for years, that there are no consequences for bad acting. There are, most-definitely, some horrible parents in the system, but Denver voting for people like Tay Anderson is the bigger problem.

I am a Denver native,...It is a major city so there are all kinds of people here but in the Biden
era things have gone over the edge....The very same can be said for so many other large
cities in the U.S..Some thing needs to be done and fast or our nation will conrinue to decay.

Families are turning their children loose in the neighborhood. They kick balls against garages, throw rocks at homes, play in mailboxes, the bad language, riding scooters in yards & breaking bottles on the ground. Why are the parents not accountable for their behavior?
REFORM SCHOOL--- used to work really well.
If the parents won't do anything then the police have to get involved. It's really that simple. Schools have no power to discipline kids outside of their premises (and often inside) without the support of parents. So, maybe the brats need to learn what being arrested feels like. Because they won't have the legal protection of being minors once they turn 18 and they need to learn before then that there are consequences.
Why is this even a story especially when you didn’t press charges waste of time🤦♂️

Denver is complete trash. I recently moved further South and it’s beautiful. There is no RTD. There is no begging in every corner. There is no support here for homelessness, addicts or migrants. It’s clean!

Whenever you ask a local politician about crime, they always say the same thing, crime is down. If you think crime is bad now, wait until summer when the city's budget cuts to rec centers and community programs kicks in.
